It was just okay. I enjoy Chipotle so I was excited to see the difference and I have to say that there's no competition, Chipotle is so much better. I got what I normally would get - a bowl with chicken, brown rice, black beans, veggies, cheese, sour cream, salsa. The food was kind of cold and the portions are smaller than Chipotle's. I would not return, workers were also kind of stand offish and made the process difficult. Queso was good though. read more

First time here. The staff are friendly, and very good at what they do, which is fresh, delicious Mexican food. My Bride got a bowl filled with rice, beans, chicken, veggies, queso, and salsa. Judging from the contented munching noises that rapidly replaced conversation, it must have tasted as good as it looked! I got a burrito nearly as large as my head, stuffed to bursting with un mescla of rice, beans, carnitas, corn, queso, pico de gallo and hot sauce. It was delicious; I kind of feel bad for how quickly I ate it; it deserved to be savored more slowly. We ordered online from the menu and picked this up. The "burrito bowl" was just a small plate of rice with some beans dropped on top as you can see. The picture of the buritto bowl on the menu as you see isn't even close. When I went back and asked, they looked at me and said the order was correct. Geez! One star is even too much. read more

This was not a good meal I've never had Panchero's before, decided to stop by while in PA for business Firstly, I did not know what to order and was being rushed by the person behind the counter. I met a high school girlfriend here while waiting in line for the bathroom so I guess that counts for something. Pancheros only has 70 locations so most people have no idea what I'm talking about when I mention its merits compared to a Chipotle. In this realm, there is very, very little innovation and reviewers often say bad things just because they are unable to hold more than one fast-burrito chain in high regard at the same time. The one differentiating factor is that Pancheros 'bobs' their burritos which means they take the time to evenly mix all the ingredients using a small tool. This is easier when all the ingredients are small, round-ish and proportional in size, but I find it makes a huge difference. Never, in a Pancheros burrito, will you find random pockets of salsa, corn, etc. There are no regions in these burritos. Each bite is as close to uniform as possible, and when all you're really looking for is consistency, you end up pretty happy. I've had a lot of burritos since being raised on these, and I still often find myself taking bites and thinking "Pancheros wouldn't have let that slide." read more

He ordered the burrito and i ordered the steak quesadillas. I ordered the sauted veggies, roasted corn salsa, sour cream and guacamole. SECOND MISTAKE! When it came the 4 quesadilla triangles was folded on top of each other. None of the side items nowhere in sight. I called and asked what happened they said they gave it to the driver and he forgot to give me them. I was just gonna let it go but then i bit into one of them 3 PIECES OF STEAK???!?!?? Do not eat here! I just watched them drop something that looked like a dirty putty knife in the black beans. They lost it and dug through the meat and and beans until they found it. This place is comparable to Chipotle. You pick from tacos, burrito, bowl, or salad; you move to rice which has a different spice palate to Chipotle's cilantro and lime - I enjoy both. They have standard black and pinto beans and the meat consisted of pork, chicken, steak, and tofu. This was a solid meal, however for the price to portion ratio is lacking. I DID however love the blue corn chips. Overall, it was a good meal, but it wouldn't be my first choice. read more

Visited pancheros for the first time and I was wow'ed. Me and my boyfriend both ordered burritos and we absolutely loved them. He got a chicken burrito and I got a steak. The food area was clean and very well kept, the service was super fast and the employees were extremely nice and helpful. We especially love that they mix your burrito ingredients up before they roll it so you're not just biting into 1 thing at a time, you get all of them at once. The blue corn chips and queso are a MUST here!!! You will not be disappointed! The only complaint my boyfriend has was that the meat was chopped in really small squares and he's a meat eater so he likes a big bite for his meat. I ordered my dinner off of DoorDash, didn't realize how close this place was to my hotel I'm in but I ordered a burrito and tacos. The Tacos were soft flour ones, the carinitas pork was alright, not really tasty, salted enough not to be bland tasting. Lots of lettuce so there's a plus.... The burrito was a generic Chipotle burrito, lacked seasoning, salt, cilantro, pepper, ya know, basic spiciness? They did put in some sort of hot pepper juice so there's that. So that's my contribution, I wish I could find some place here that does I like back home. I just want knock-my-socks-off Mexican food that will keep me full for three days. Lolz. read more

The entire time I was walking down the line attempting to get my burrito built, the staff of 4 people working there were arguing and yelling at each other. And over really dumb petty stuff....like getting someone a side of salsa prompting a shouting match between two obviously unhappy employees. Panchero's is a chain, so after eating at the one in Ann Arbor MI often during school (usually at 2am and on the way home from the bar, but occasionally completely sober) I was excited to see this place here in NEPA. I went in for the first time and the place was very busy so I thought that was a good sign. I ordered my usual (Chicken Burrito) and I was just not impressed. The 10 year old kids wrapping making and wrapping my burrito did a horrible job, the tortilla was riped and had holes in it. Also they failed to even put an appropriate amount of stuff inside the burrito. So I thought this was all a one time thing, especially since I had never had this problem previously back in Ann Arbor, so I returned at a later date. I had the same issues this time as well plus more. So as a chain this place has been a decent quick, "Mexican" meal but the on here in NEPA is a let down. *Also side note, don't order the queso dip unless you like your queso really watery, that's a chain wide experience. * read more

So...the food was ok. I was suckered in by the homemade tortillas sign, because I love freshly made tortillas. And sadly the tortillas weren't good. I wouldn't venture here again. Here's why: * They are an expensive alternative to chipotle or qdoba. I had to pay extra for my cheese and sour cream. * the food lacks flavor. Again, it's ok but it's missing some key flavor ingredients. * I was ignored for a full five minutes while employees talked at the grill while I was in plain sight. * the lady who helped me didn't speak English and understood even less. She started making my food before I even ordered and continued to do so throughout the process. I had to stop her to ask for her to give me pinto beans instead, she started scooping chicken in my bowl when I said NO meat. At the beginning of the process I asked for a tortilla on the side with my bowl and she said ok, but after I'd paid, still no tortilla and when I asked for it she went to charge me!!! When I asked for a cup of water she stared at me, so I took my own water cup from the plastic bag and asked if I could have it. * the music was blaring so loud that I could barely hear my own thoughts.
