Came here as a midnight snack before calling it a day and this guy is a one-man show! He cleans, cooks and takes order all himself with a few tables for those that order and want to eat there. We ordered a Dutch pancake and waffle with strawberries and Nutella. Surprisingly the dough for the waffle and crepe were bomb, especially the texture of the waffle. As for the aesthetics, he doesn't care haha! He literally threw on a glop of Nutella and large scoop of berries and served it. I smeared the Nutella around so it looked better for photos, but aesthetics isn't what they go for. We all killed it because of the yummy warmth that melted the Nutella with strawberries. There was definitely too much Nutella too but we ate it all up anyways! Price was decent, not expensive but not cheap either. 7€ for the Dutch pancake and 4€ for the waffle/crepe. Toppings are around 1-2€ each which made it around 18€ total (~$20 USD) for six people to share.

This is the gentleman that makes the best waffles and pancakes in town! Try it!

Delicious pancakes & waffles!!!! Busy location but the cook is very fast and takes care of everyone quickly. It's a must!!! If you enjoy white chocolate or regular Nutella pancakes or waffles. Everything they make here tastes and looks fantastic. Location right next to 420 Cafe!

Waffles with honey and bananas (left) and Nutella, strawberries, jam, and whipped cream (right)

This is a perfect spot for a late-night crepe, pancake, or waffle!! It's hole in the wall and there's only one man behind the counter, but he churns out delicious (and relatively cheap) desserts. I would definitely recommend coming here after dinner or a coffeeshop ;)

We were there the day after Kings day and it was a lovely morning. The weather was cool, but not cold and we were able to enjoy the nice breeze and canal boats passing by. I was also able to connect to the WiFi from the Casino across the river. It was weak, but still worked. We were seated outside and waited almost 10 minutes before anyone came by to take our order for food and drinks. We ordered the banana crepe to share and I got a coffee while my wife ordered the pear juice. The pair juice comes from a bottle. The coffee was served in a small cup and was ok. I am used to drinking it with cream and sweetener. But Europeans don't have these items, so I just drank it with sugar. I think we waited almost 30 minutes before our food came out. Now, we only ordered crepes with bananas inside. Usually at the mall, it takes a few minutes to make crepes. I don't know how it took almost 30 minutes for them to make 1 item. Mind you, the place was not full when we came, so I don't understand how long we had to wait for our server to order our food and why it took so long for them to make our food. Once it finally came out, I thought the crepe was good, but not out of your mind fantastic. It's just basic tbh. Will I ever come back, probably not due to the wait time and the food wasn't all that great.

What a fun little Amsterdam find! First things first: reservations are HIGHLY recommended. Seating…read moreis only on the hour, starting at noon, and this place is tiny. We're talking just four tables, with only two that can seat a party of four. They'll consider walk-ins at opening if there's room, but I wouldn't chance it. Then there's the setting. Funky, quirky, cozy, and packed with wonderfully random decorations. Like teapots and cups on the ceiling. And yes, you really do go upstairs...very steep stairs! Definitely something to know if mobility is an issue. But let's talk PANCAKES! We ordered four for our table of four--two savory and two sweet--which was WAY too much food, but OMG, they were incredible. Huge, thin, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The tiny kitchen can only cook two pancakes at a time, which somehow just adds to the charm. Prices were surprisingly reasonable, too. Just don't dally--you have your table for an hour, and then it's time for the next lucky group to climb those stairs. Would I go back? HECK YA! We barely scratched the surface of the menu, and there are plenty more pancakes calling my name. Friendly staf

When we arrived and hiked upstairs, yes it's a hike straight up steep stairs, only to see the sign "fully booked" womp womp. HOWEVER, we asked if there was a waiting list because we didn't realize reservations are basically necessary. WE GOT LUCKY as a table was available because someone didn't show for their reservations!! We ordered the special of the day, blueberry & cream, and a bacon, cheese and apple pancake. Quickly cooked up and served and boy were they both delicious! I also didn't know it was a cash only establishment or debit card. Whom I presume was the owner was so sweet and again luckily our US credit card could be processed as debit. Saved me from having to do dish duty! Definitely a must do in Amsterdam but make a reservation and carry cash! Also to note, they only have 4 tables and if you're more than 5 minutes late for your reservation they may have given away your table!
