    Pancake combo

We always pass by this place and never gave it a second look. We decided to try it out on New Year's Eve. Although it was packed, we quickly found parking. The place is small and run down but the service is attentive and servers are friendly. The food was very fairly priced and the portions were generous. This place offers good value for the price you pay. I had a craving for pancakes and this satisfied my craving.

So i woke up and i decided i was craving some pancakes and didnt want to go to the typical fast food and gave the Resturant a shot. I went there with my with my brother tagged him along. I then asked for pancakes and egg and a horchata. As i got my order the drink tasted so sour and soapy it was so nasty i spit it right back. Along with that the egg was raw i asked for a sunny side up but not even the white outline was cooked properly so i didnt eat it neither it was like they cracked it and just served it to me. I wasnt able to eat and left the place i was charged 39$ for two plates of eggs and pancakes and two drinks. Not coming here again. I couldnt take the photo of my food i forgot because of how dissatisfied i was. This was in August.

    Red chilaquiles

I came here for thanksgiving, it is a small restaurant but we were able to be seated fairly quickly. Servers were very nice so they get a 5 stars. There was no music so it was easy for us to speak to one another. There is a small parking area but we found parking in the street with no problem. Now the food, I ordered the red chilaquiles and I regret it. Homemade is way better. These taste like if they poured a can of Pace salsa as the sauce. No way will I ever order these again. It came with beans and rice and the rice was cold and very dry, I left it all, couldn't eat it. The plate was like $15.

Chilaquiles is excellent!! I asked for no rice & beans.

This is one of the best red chilaquiles I've had & I make sure to order chilaquiles whenever I see it on a menu.

Picked up some breakfast for a lazy weekend. The lines for the outside eating are a tad longer now. They have good prices for freshly made morning grub. The French toast was on point. If you don't feel like waiting and just want to get straight to the breakfast part, call in your order 15-20 mins and it should be waiting for you. Friendly staff and good food. A good choice for that lazy Sunday breakfast.

Eh. That's basically the review. Eh... nothing to write home about or brag. Food was mediocre. The service was great from the kid with glasses. The others acted as if they wanted to ask who are you? A customer! Duh. Anyways the food was ok. The sausages were cold, the egg came from a miniature chicken and the French toast was lacking. The syrup was good the butter was limited in supply and the price reflects that. $11.00 out the door. Would I come back? If you're buying. If not I'm good.

This place is horrible! The waitress kept getting our orders wrong and the Country steak and eggs had no taste and was greasy.

We asked for waters all around and they never brought them to us until I had to remind them 25 minutes into being seated. The food is mediocre, but the presentation is very nice .. if you don't mind bland soggy Chilaquiles then this is your place! Waiter was a little bit arrogant .. the place is run by youngsters so it wasn't shocking that the service wasn't great, when they brought our extremely hot lattes to us, they held it over my two-year-old granddaughter's head, which would have been a scalding nightmare had he dropped it on her. We won't be back

Once we were ready she had our table already prepared. We have to order inside first before you can be seated. Once seated our food came out not too long after. Everything looked and tasted delicious! We ordered the chilaquiles verde, short rib omelette, tropical pancakes (seasonal), and the mango curd french toast (seasonal). The chilaquiles verde was savory and tangy. It wasn't soggy at all and definitely one of my favorite dishes. The short rib omelette was savory but didn't give me any wow factor compared to the other dishes I ordered. The tropical pancakes were so pretty. I only tried a piece of it without the syrup which I think was a mistake because the kumquat syrup was my friend's favorite. I definitely need to try it again with the syrup. Best for last, mango curd French toast was my favorite! I fell in love with sweetness and tanginess of the mango curd. The French toast was soft and you can taste the butter. I wish it was a main menu item. I'll definitely be sad to see it go. They have lots of seating inside and outside.

Parking can be a bit tight during busy hours since it's in a small shared shopping center, but that's a minor trade-off for such great food. Unfortunately, I will not be returning , as both food but especially service were beyond disappointing. As I walk in I'm immediately hit with the odor of fryers in desperate need of an oil change. Still, I kept a positive expectation, and nothing about my attitude warranted the lack of effort/attention I received from my young male server, who seemed like he had a million better things he'd rather be doing and I just felt like he considered himself too good to be dealing with the likes of me. If only the chicken sandwich were enough to make up for the overall experience. While I've had worse, I was left unsatisfied by the two rather anemic strips of chicken and less than desirable texture of the buns (frozen maybe?) Normally I don't write reviews , but I was left with a bad taste in my mouth overall, though slightly more metaphorically than literally. Will not be returning, save yourself some time and money better spent elsewhere (with some friendlier staff!)
