I take my Yelp reviews seriously because I want to give people guidance on food and service for…read morerestaurants. We all want to know what to expect when we are spending our hard earned dollars. I was disheartened to see Yelp reviews that do not concentrate on these important aspects of a restaurant. Here's my review that focuses on these important qualities of a restaurant. I took my daughter here for a special lunch a couple of weeks ago. I made a reservation because I had read that Saturdays are busy. The owner even asked when taking our reservation if we wanted a certain table... how about that service? Wow. We are easy going so I told her no. We arrived a bit early because our plans to hike prior to our lunch were changed thanks to bad weather. It was no problem whatsoever and we were seated immediately. We have only been for breakfast once before so we were excited to try some lunch items. I chose the Christmas cranberry sandwich and my daughter chose the French dip sandwich. She ordered a coffee, as well, which I tried... it was amazing. It was a chocolate type one or maybe mint... so good. Our lunches arrived on cute plates and looked so good (hope to add pictures later). My sandwich was amazing. Seriously, the flavors were outstanding and the meatloaf was homemade and tasty. My daughter liked her French dip but was a bit disappointed because the beef was fairly large pieces so harder to chew than if it had been slices on the sandwich to dip. She still enjoyed it but I think she would order my sandwich if we were to go again for lunch because she tried some of my sandwich and really liked it. We, of course, ordered one of their cupcakes to share. I believe we chose a strawberry one. They serve it warmed up and it was the perfect choice to end our lunch... not too sweet; kind of light. While we were enjoying our lunch a family stopped in with grandparents along. I have never been there with kids so it was so cute to see the kids being able to pick out a metal lunchbox from the various options and then later have their lunches served in the lunchbox. What a great idea for kids. It is obvious that the owner has really tried to make this restaurant unique and special for everyone. I had read some reviews about cleanliness of items inside the restaurant. There are lots of items there. Let me tell you I was looking very carefully at everything (including the bathroom) and was trying to figure out how they could keep everything so immaculately clean. I was very impressed. I could not find a speck of dust or dirt anywhere (and they have white coverings on some seating areas, rugs, etc.). Yes, I feel confident giving this restaurant and the staff 5 stars. I have never ordered anything that has not been amazing and the service at this restaurant is spectacular. The server (owner?) even apologized as we were checking out that she did not have enough time to chat with us during our time there. This is a small business that deserves our support and patronage. I am so glad we stopped in again to this wonderful restaurant. Try it. You will not be disappointed.

I forgot to take a photo of the full order. Shame on me, because it looked like a pastry runway…read moreshow. I've also had PB bookmarked for quite sometime...so I blame my eagerness for the failed group runway photos. Lol I placed my order at 5 AM for an 8:15/8:30 AM pickup, and they still managed to pack everything like they were preparing it for royalty. Let mama break it down for you! Berry Tart: This tart walked in looking like it pays rent. Gorgeous, glossy, and so pretty I almost apologized before cutting into it. Clients loved it. My kids loved it. Strawberry Soft Cream Cake Slice: My 2‑year‑old (CEO of Strawberry Obsessed Galore) approved immediately. Every layer had actual thick strawberry pieces, not those sad little bits that makes you wonder if there were even strawberries in here or just mushed up pieces... Sweet, creamy, NOT overly weak and a total show‑off. We devoured it. Fruit Pastry & Raspberry Fruit Bite: Flaky pastry + custard + fruit = the holy trinity. These two didn't miss. They understood the assignment and executed flawlessly. Curry & Crab Croquette: I'm team CRAB croquette. It was loaded, crispy, and basically winked at me. My colleague, however, acted like the curry croquette was a spiritual experience. Pretty sure his eyes rolled to the back of his head..HAH. Both are winners! Pepperoni Pizzetta: My 4‑year‑old took one bite and immediately rejected Papa John's. That's the entire review. Case closed. Iced Sweet Green Tea: This one... was not it. It tasted like coffee that borrowed someone else's filter. We'll just leave it at that. Now, let's talk service: They open at 7 AM, and somehow had my entire order made, warmed, packed, organized, and ready in just over an hour..while other customers were inside, AND they helped me load everything into my car. My short notice didn't even make them blink.

From the moment you walk in, the aroma of fresh-baked pastries wraps around you like a warm hug, instantly putting your mind at ease. The interior is stunning, bright, modern, and buzzing with the best energy. Even with a packed house of happy customers, the vibe remains sophisticated and welcoming. I spent my wait time snapping photos of the display cases because every single creation looked like a work of art! The staff members are the true stars here; they are incredibly kind, attentive, and eager to ensure every guest has a perfect experience. I couldn't leave without a massive haul. I picked up treats for the entire household and plenty of goodies to enjoy at home later. If you are anywhere near Buford or shopping at the Mall of Georgia, this is your sign to stop in. This wasn't just a bakery run; it was a full experience. No wonder this café was recommended as a great place for meetings over coffee. From the moment I…read morewalked in, I could understand why so many people enjoy spending time here. I truly enjoyed my black sesame latte, which was rich, smooth, and uniquely flavorful--something different from the typical coffee shop offerings. As a first-time visitor, I was impressed by the variety of creative drinks on the menu. Several options immediately caught my attention, including the pistachio cream latte, which I'm already planning to try on my next visit. It's refreshing to find a coffee shop that goes beyond the standard menu and offers flavors that appeal to adventurous coffee lovers. Although the space itself is not particularly large, the interior design creates exactly the right atmosphere. The layout, décor, and overall ambiance make the café feel warm, comfortable, and inviting. It strikes a nice balance between being cozy enough for conversation and relaxing enough to simply enjoy a cup of coffee. I also learned that the new owner has made several improvements and added value to the existing coffee shop concept. Those efforts seem to be paying off, as the café has developed a distinctive character and charm of its own.

Each dessert and drink is a work of art. I'm in love with this cottage aesthetic cafe. The desserts served here cannot be found anywhere else. I can't say enough about the warm welcome all customers receive. Must-try: 1 Chubby macaroons are loaded with flavor and have the perfect texture. The injoelmi flavor is perfect. 2 Basque cheesecake with adorable hand-scooped whipped cream on top. I tried the matcha, but will also try the ube and pistachio flavors in the future. 3 Viral chewy Dubai cookies These are extremely difficult to make. I've had these at a few different shops and the homemade ones here are the best I've had so far. Not too sweet and loaded with crispy filling. 4 Mini Cookies - currently the cookies are Nintendo and Sanrio themed. 5 Seasonal drinks - I tried the black sesame latte, which you can add matcha or coffee to also. Next time, will try the ube latte.
