The relaxation room was nice and quiet, sometimes filled sometimes not depending on the flow of people getting treatment. The lunch food and drinks were great, but we had some off service from the bartender on staff. Our server at the table was great though. Hit or miss and they seemed short staffed. In the locker room multiple showers were broken so we had to adjust our plans on showering after our massages but we made it work. And lastly we had issues with our bill and the staff wasn't able to handle it at the moment so hopefully that got taken care of by my friend coordinating after the fact. I would still give them another chance and maybe see how it is coming alone or with a smaller group.

We visited today, a Sunday, which was a rare weekend visit (usually we take a day off and go during the week for a slight discount in pricing for services). There were a lot of groups of women celebrating birthdays, weddings, and maybe just a girls day (which I have enjoyed there on occasion). We started with 50 minute massages. I had Nikki, who I had not had before but was spectacular. If you are getting a massage for the first time, Nikki is the person to request (although I am a massage pro and still had an excellent experience)! She walked through the process, and was sure to make sure I was comfortable with everything involved. The pressure was perfect and she focused on the areas I requested. Afterwards, my husband and I met in the Bistro for lunch and a cocktail. He had the risotto, which he enjoyed, and I got the chicken salad croissant which is a favorite for me. The grapes, apples and cranberries add a depth that I enjoyed. It was also great to see some seasonal cocktails on the menu (I opted for an apple cider mimosa). Sam and Brittany were super friendly, attentive, and made excellent drinks! We have been going to Spa Mirbeau as a couple, with friend, and with family for the past 5 years and they deliver every time. Can't wait to return!!

I have been fortunate enough to have been treated with spa days at Complexions since I was a kid…read more I've watched the business grow and expand offering new services, and I now frequent both locations. I feel inclined to write this review after seeing some bad reviews, and I'd like to remind everyone how people are typically only encouraged to leave reviews when they are unhappy. Not to mention reviews are now used as weapons against businesses. My favorite service to get are massages, they have a great selection of unique massages and add ons I don't see anyone else offering. The amenities have always been clean and available- it's never over crowded. I appreciate the little things they offer, if you use their amazing shower they provide razors, deodorant, moisturizer, q tips and whatever else you may need for an after shower routine. Beyond massages I've done plenty of facials (love the hydra facials), laser hair removal and waxing. I hope to book a consult with the medspa soon! I've always admired Complexions from a business point of view, as I now also own a small business and Denise is a genius from this perspective! Her skincare line is admirable - and so refreshing! If you haven't given them a try I strongly recommend them. In an ever changing area they are such a staple for me, and I hope to keep enjoying visits for many years.

My husband and I were treated at Complexions Spa for four treatments over two different days. The…read moreenvironment was very serene and relaxing, and the treatment providers were very good and very professional. Unfortunately, the reservationist, front desk staff, and spa attendants made many mistakes, lacking a significant level of professionalism you would expect at a spa of this caliber. These problems included making a mistake on the second day with one of my reservations where I was sent a male instead of female massage therapist for a 1.5 hour massage. When I brought it to their attention, the massage therapist (not the front desk administrative person) offered a half hour massage with a woman instead of 1.5 hour to "fix" the mistake. I told them I wanted to speak with the front desk person and strongly objected to the supposed solution; they came up with an hour massage with a free add-on (hot stone massage). I had to work hard for this - they made things much more stressful than it should have been. They also told us wrong information about their tipping policies for certain massage therapists and made it really difficult to tip people, did not tell massage therapists to wear masks for both of us (which we had requested ahead of time and they had done the first day), had a cold spa attendant greet us who was suppose to make us feel welcome but lacked warmth and social graces, another spa attendant touched me repeatedly (which you do not do with out consent), etc. When the owner, Denise DuBois, called to talk about the numerous problems I had outlined in an email, she was highly defensive. I felt SO tense and uncomfortable with how she behaved towards me that even though she apologized for our experience at the spa and ultimately offered two free massages (for myself and my husband), I/we could never imagine going back there; we did not accept the offer. We do NOT ever want to go back there again. There was a significant lack of warmth and empathy for the level of problems and mistakes from staff and the stressful impact of this in real time and when discussed later - it was quite shocking. We have been to spas and all types of treatment providers in the U.S. and in Europe and have never been treated so unprofessionally by the administrative end of a business. It clearly comes from the top down and is very problematic. Added note: I have a friend who warned me against this place, because she had been there a half dozen times, and they made a mistake every single time with her reservation. When I told this to Denise Dubois, she wanted to know the name of my friend (talk about this request being inappropriate), and she found it hard to believe what I was saying (again, inappropriate). I was really taken aback; a professional does not do this. My friend recommended another spa in Saratoga Springs that she loves. I am going to try them.

(Groupon takes a very large percentage from the business) Staff was very professional, and attentive to areas that you need the most work on. BEST MASSAGE EVER!!!!…read more I've have several massage therapists, saw a regular therapist for years, and always stop in on the random chair massage pop ups you see about. Needless to say, I feel qualified that I've experienced many styles, types, techniques and different people when it comes to massage therapy. I booked a 90 Minute Couples NSL Massage for my boyfriend and I on a whim. First Impression: The outside it adorable to walk up to and upon actually entering the premises we were blown away by the immediate feel of magic, ease and wonder all at once. I've seen many different aesthetics when it comes to decor yet this was otherworldly in a provocative and enchanting way. This feeling continues throughout the rest of the stay, room to room and into their gorgeous back courtyard! Point of Interest Number Two: The massage therapist made me feel instantly at ease and in capable, knowledge hands; safe. I instantly began to melt into the techniques he was using that I had never felt before. The entire massage was almost entirely new to me as far as style and I loved every single second of it. My boyfriend was equally in heaven with his therapist. I could go on for an essay's length about this world-class massage team we experienced right here in this hidden gem in Albany. I rarely right reviews, yet had to this time to spread the word about this amazing gift you will be giving any recipient of a service from this Spa! The insane part is the next day, instead of reverting to my natural hunched neck and slouched shoulders and general poor posture, he'd corrected and felt so many cracks in such a pleasantly releasing way), I continued to stand straight. I was walking with my shoulders squared back, chin high, NATURALLY. The man also fixed my friggin' posture! Trust me, you will 100% NOT be sorry you trusted this review.

However I think most would agree its the service that it is most important at least to me. I also like to mention i had facials by other estheticians and had a great experience. However I had a microbrasion facial done by Lauren at the wolf road location and during the service by my forehead area she removed a significant amount of hair this to me is unacceptable error and extremly upsetting. Customers are going in to relax look and feel better when they come out not to be missing a chunk of hair and feeling terrible. I dont know if she was having a off day or is not properly trained on how to do that serice but there is just no excuse as far as im concerned. I did bring it up to management who said they were going to adress it but I wanted to make patrons aware of my experience. After that I will never go back again recommend asking for Deb for facials if you are planning to join or get servces there.

It was a pleasant experience and the older gentleman has very strong hands. Almost too strong. But if you ask him to go a little lighter he will. When we got into the massage room he said I am going to give you two hours. I said what? He said I am going to give you two hours. I said, oh!! OKAY! While thinking about it I thought I am the only customer here maybe he would rather work than sit around, or maybe its because it is my bday. Or Maybe it is because I am a first time customer. NOPE to all. At checkout he said I owed $130.00 Well I didnt have that much cash on me so he goes credit card? And I am like wait $130.00 plus tip and he said yes. So I said No, I reserved a 90 min. massage for $85.00. He said he gave me two hours. So we went back and forth for a bit when the lady owner came out and pointing at the price board on the wall and trying to say in part english and part other language that yes it would be $120.00 and that is the correct price. She was pointing to a separate foot massage. I was like oh no you dont. I never asked for the two hours, i did not reserve two hours, I never changed my reservation to two hour massage. This is not ethical or good business. I am paying what I reserved for. $85.00 plus a $15.00 tip. Another man came in asking for a massage so the owner lady had to get him out of there as fast as possible so he would not hear what was going on. So, I was firm with the older man and said that I will pay what I ordered and reserved and handed him the cash with tip. He had a very mad look on his face. I then walked out the door.
