I booked a 90 Minute Couples NSL Massage for my boyfriend and I on a whim. First Impression: The outside it adorable to walk up to and upon actually entering the premises we were blown away by the immediate feel of magic, ease and wonder all at once. I've seen many different aesthetics when it comes to decor yet this was otherworldly in a provocative and enchanting way. This feeling continues throughout the rest of the stay, room to room and into their gorgeous back courtyard! Point of Interest Number Two: The massage therapist made me feel instantly at ease and in capable, knowledge hands; safe. I instantly began to melt into the techniques he was using that I had never felt before. The entire massage was almost entirely new to me as far as style and I loved every single second of it. My boyfriend was equally in heaven with his therapist. I could go on for an essay's length about this world-class massage team we experienced right here in this hidden gem in Albany. Used a Groupon and found this place by chance! I high recommend, but do not buy the Groupon. If you mention the Groupon they will honor that price as well. (Groupon takes a very large percentage from the business) Staff was very professional, and attentive to areas that you need the most work on. They adjusted pressure as needed, and were very professional. I would return to this location. read more

Ordered a Groupon for a couples massage for my wife and I (both female). I called to make an appointment and asked for both our masseuses to be female -- I was told that's not possible because of the way they do scheduling (always a man and a woman). But neither my wife nor I are comfortable with a man touching us, which I told the man (assuming the owner) and he laughed and said, "The women always quit. Also the men are better anyway." Wonderful business model. Such a creep! I got refunded from Groupon but now I'm stuck with Groupon Bucks and no other massage deals on Groupon are for couples massages. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I got a reiki session from Kitty the other day that was absolutely amazing. I haven't felt so relaxed and in tune with my body and mind in such a long time and will definitely be booking again. I definitely recommend reiki with Kitty, especially if you've never had it before. A few weeks ago, I found myself in Albany on a business trip from NYC, and the hotel bed left me with a frozen shoulder and neck. I was so stiff I couldn't turn my head to the left. Booked online initially, but due to the specific service the spa contacted me directly to confirm some details. Once I got there it was a super non-descript location, and inside was the most calm atmosphere! For COVID-related purposes: the spa was incredibly clean, everyone in the lobby was wearing masks, and my therapist wore a mask the entire time. The aromatherapy inside smelled amazing, the lighting was perfect, and the team of massage therapists inside were so friendly. We talked about what my trouble spots were, and John added on cupping to my massage last-minute to support my needs. We also did a quick, relaxing facial as part of the massage - incredible! John showed me the products that I could choose from to use, and made sure my sensitive skin was honored with them. The massage itself was incredible, and even after one session I have significantly less back pain than when I started. I fell asleep for three hours after the massage I was so relaxed! Entering the Spa Halcyon, it was very clean, very inviting and very soothing. The Spa Therapist, John was extremely professional, and talented. I don't know if I've had a massage ever take out all of my knots in my back in which this one did. I walked away feeling like a million bucks. I would recommend the Spa Halcyon, specifically John to anyone that's a friend of mine.
