All was good at first, good service, funny and likable guy taking the order. The price was good for a medium pizza, mozz sticks, a chicken burger and fries. Pizza was a huge miss. I took one bite and noped out, not even swallowing. Need a new dough recipe for sure and higher quality cheese I'm assuming. If the color grey had a taste, the food from Pam's would be that taste. Philly cheese steak sandwich tasted like nothing, meat had the texture of cardboard, and roll was greasy. The pizza had a ton of cheese, but had little flavor. The fiery fingers (spicy boneless chicken) had the texture of processed chicken patties - the flavor was ok on these, but everything else majorly lacked seasoning. Ambiance was terrible - when you walk in, its super hot, and you can see piles of random stuff stacked in plain view. Does not look super sanitary. Visiting in Swanton for 3 days and we only tried Pam's Place on our last day. We shared a small Sub and a Greek salad, both were stuffed with ingredients. I have not had as good an Italian Sub outside Boston. We asked for dry, no oil, with toasted sub roll. It was perfect, and so full of sliced meat we wish they were open for Breakfast when we leave tomorrow. We will definitely stop in again on our next trip. They were busy with delivery orders on a weeknight. The exterior is plain, it is take out, but the Real deal Pizza/ Sub kitchen is behind the counter! read more

This place isnt bad food wise. If its little things like fries we usually have really good service but occasionally you get that hit or miss. Which is too be expected with ANY fast food place. Food wise id givw this place 4 stars at least. Customer service wise if there was a way to give zero stars i would. The owner of this place deffinetly outways its perks. The owner is rude, absolutely uncaring and disrespectful. If you wanna be verbally abused by a man who clearly hates his job deffiently call pams and order for delivery. For example one night i called for delivery and asked if he could split it between two cards because myself and a friend were splitting the meal and had said we were going to split the cost, this arrogent ass responded with "so youre gonna make me take two cards and split it over the phone" yes sir im sorry IM GONNA MAKE YOU DO YOUR JOB AND RUN YOUR BUSINESS. MUST BE SOOOOO HARD FOR YOU RIGHT!!!! He then proceeds to talk over me while im trying to give him my card number and then says my card didnt go through after i called to ask for ranch with my order. Glad i called because he didnt take a call back number to tell me my card had been declined. When i asked if he had typed it in correctly he asked "are you seriously asking if i know how to do my job" again yes sir yes i am because i know how much is in my account and aint no way your medium pizza costs more than whats in my bank account!!!!! Upon getting our fries they were browned on the outside and raw on the inside and he said "ive never made fries that werent hard when i cooked them" and "ive never had a complaint before" well happy to be your "first complaint" then gave me an attitude because I asked him to cook my bacon a little longer given it was limp slimy and cold and again i recieved attitude. Not being from around here we looked online for a pizza place near to us. We called the one with the best star rating but couldn't get to a person. The message said they were closed for cleaning or renovation but would be open at 5;00 so we decided to drive there since their webpage said they closed at 8:00 When we got there it was obvious they were still closed so we decided to try Pam's. We ordered an XL and an order of chicken wings and waited outside. Debbie came out with our order in an appropriate time for pizza baking, and we were off. Neither of us expected much because the 'google rating' wasn't very good. We loved it! the wings were awesome, not dried out like some and the pizza was great. There is something about the dough that gives it a wonderful taste. I'm sorry this place had such a crappy wrap so I'm giving it 5 stars even though they were almost out of pizza dough when we got there and later I heard the guy on the phone tell someone they were out, maybe because the other place was closed? It was pretty busy when we got our pizza, 4 people working hard in the kitchen. I would definitely go to Pam's again if we are ever in the area. To Debbie, my husband paid with his CC and usually adds the tip on the receipt. I didn't know there wasn't a spot for one. I ordered from Pam's today, first time as I just moved to the neighborhood. The chicken wings were great - I didn't want sauce on them, so I got them plain but they were hot and crunchy and very good. Also ordered a chef's salad. I couldn't believe the size of it, or the contents, once I turned it into a salad bowl. It was HUGE, fresh and delicious. PLUS, delivery when it's raining out! Definitely gonna be a "go to" for me! read more

I think that the owner is quite rude ...the prices change quite often I paid $10.00 for what was supposed to be 2 slices of cheesecake (FROZEN SOLID) and it was not even the size of one that you'd buy pre cut at a store! The delivery drivers are always nice except for when it's the owner again rude...but the rest always talk about how bad it is and I agree. I only ordered there because my car was in the shop and they deliver... So to sum it up the food quality varies depending on who makes it or how busy...the service only from the owner is terrible ..you never know how much it's going to be and before u get a chance to ask he hangs up ...and I feel bad for the drivers..! If I were you I'd go to swanton house of pizza or shaggys over these guys any day! The rudeness and CONSISTENCY sucks! The only thing that's consistent is the rudeness lol! read more

Worst pizza I've ever had. No flavor, bland and burnt crust, a alright amount of cheese, but way too much sauce. Purchased two large pizzas since they deliver in town. Having never tried it I gave it a shot. Forty dollars later and even my kid did not eat it. I'll drive to Saint Albans next time for pizza. read more

My wife and I ate there not once but twice! The first time we both got sick but maybe it was the bug that was going around, but after ordering again about a month later we both got sick again. FACT: FOOD POISONING!!!!!!!!!!! My friend told me not to eat there that the food was mediocre and the delivery times were atrocious. FACT: All of that was true, unfortunately. The first time I went and picked the order up and when I got there the owner was yelling at his employees and had an attitude with me. FACT: He has very poor customer service skills. The second time we ordered the food, two subs and some fries and had it delivered. FACT: The delivery fee was $5.00 and it took the an hour and 10 minutes to deliver it. And the Philly cheese steaks were soggy to boot! FACT: Needless to say the driver did not get a tip and after that second time I have never gone back. read more

Side note, I'm less than a mile down the same road from them. Also, the person who took my call seemed to be very inconvenienced to have to take my order. They never told me the total and ended the call with "we'll get to ya when we get to ya...". Also never gave me the option to pay cash or card. Pizza was disgusting, burnt top and sloppy wet bottom. We passed through Swanton on our way back from Montreal and decided to stop here for some lunch. The people who run this place are fantastic. The pizza was hot off the oven with a very generous layer of toppings. Bonus point: they don't gouge you on the drinks. Seating is extremely limited (2 outside picnic benches) but the weather was good when we went, so no complaints. If you're ever near Swanton, give this place a try. read more

The first time that we ordered from Pam's the food was so good, there were four of us and we got a variety of things, all of them good. The next time, again the same group, and we ordered some different things, only this time we were almost all disappointed in the food we got. We have continued to try them, as they are the only place that delivers in Highgate/Swanton and still have found them to be VERY inconsistent. Just because you got it last week and it was the best thing you have ever had, means nothing, this week it could make you sick, or at least just taste like sh*t. read more
