Top to bottom, this is the worst doctor's office I've encountered in my 60 years. One visit with…read morethe doctor himself and I lost all confidence in his ability. He had ordered a blood panel and urinalysis for a physical. Some of my numbers were out of the normal range. He asked if I had eaten before the test -- I had, since no one told me otherwise. He ordered a retest, but no one gave me a prescription/paperwork for the testing lab. When I called for it a few days later, I was told there was no mention of retesting in my chart. Egari apparently didn't make a note and forgot. Instead, he told me to "continue taking my medication." Except I don't take any medication, which I also had told Egari during the appointment when he asked, and which he again neglected to make a note of (not to mention it's asked two or three times in the initial paperwork you fill out). So this doc doesn't take very good notes, doesn't review the basic questionnaires well enough and is willing to guess at your treatment. No thanks. The office staff was similarly slipshod. I got several referrals to specialists from Egari. I was initially unable to make appointments with any of them because they couldn't access my chart. Egari's staff failed to input any of my info into the database used by all the doctors in the group. When I asked why, they said they needed my consent and I hadn't given it. No one had asked me for it or otherwise informed me this step was necessary. And when I later talked to staff for the specialists, they said this was nonsense -- no additional consent is necessary within the group. It's a good thing my need for specialists' care wasn't urgent. For one specialist, it took a week from my first of several calls for Egari's office to fax over my paperwork. The specialist's office manager had called too. Who needs a week to send a fax? And why are they depending on paper records? Don't they input patient info into a database? And if all that's not enough, know that your time is not worthy of the slightest respect. My two office visits involved waits of around 40 minutes each. The staff flat-out told me not to pick appointment times in the first hour of Egari's office hours because he never rolls in that early. Meaning you wait while the doc enjoys an extra cup of coffee with breakfast. I ended up transferring to another primary care doc and doctors group just to disentangle myself from Egari and his people's lack of competence.

Dr Roy wasn't there the day we went. ( I'll update the name of the doctor covering him when I find…read morethe business card I grabbed.) It's a shame because my suegra said she's been going to Dr Roy for years and he's always treated her right. When I first got looked over by the assistant, she said they probably were not gonna help me with my burn since it looked and smelled infected. I'm not sure if she gave the doctor that information, but we waited almost two hours for the doctor to say the same thing and to direct us to the emergency room. That was absolutely unprofessional, I believe. If she suspected they were gonna send us to the emergency room, why didn't they have the doctor confirm sooner? It was really painful and I had no meds in me that whole time I was fighting that pain.

He does not provide a cause of symptom to maximize his profit instead suggest unnecessary time-consumping treatment for even crystal-clear risky cancer which very often make the patient condition too late to take a surgery in time. 2. The special doctors he refers to the patients are 9 out 10 unqualified useless or harmful doctors who will take the patients into wrong treatment. The reference commission, money, is a key factor why John Kim refers to. 3. Office staff, called Julie, is not aware of HIPPA law which protect patient's privacy. This staff speaks broken English and yell in Korean or English to the patient waiting in the office for the result, "You are XXX cancer" or "xxx ". I will report it legally soon. If you really love your loved one in sick, please take time to find a good doctor who seriously takes care of your patient and you never regret it. Over 50% of your loved one's survival chance is depending on your doctor, This doctor is not for you from my experience. Currently I have all documents and test results to take actions against this neglect and careless person and his doctor office.

Office staff was rude at some points. Saw nurse practitioner, got denied treatment and offered an alternate that did not sit well with me, and then was asked to come back in a week for my actual problem. Got charged for the visit and charged me again for the second one despite the fact that first visit could have resolved everything. They only want to charge obscene amounts of money.

I'm old enough to remember the days when most doctors offices were privately run and operated, this equated to an old school fashion of medical care, wherein doctors knew their patients by name as well as their parents and cared more in my opinion. Nowadays everything's run through large medical groups, like optum and Kaiser, which I feel results in the lost of the personal touch of patient treatment, not to mention that with these large medical groups it's impossible to get a same day appointment should someone fall ill unexpectedly. I experienced that exact same situation a while ago when my two year old developed a fever and I had to scramble to find him a pediatrician last minute, his normal pediatrician told me the soonest appointment would be the next day and all other large medical groups I called told me the couldn't squeeze us in for weeks. I explained my two year old had a fever of 101 but that didn't accomplish a thing. Thankfully when I called Dr. Kim's office his staff told me they could see us same day, during the visit Dr. Kim was courteous and straightforward. He calmed me down when I seemed worried and he gave good sound advice on how to care for a sick toddler. If anyone needs a doctor who cares and isn't stuck behind the wall of bureaucracy in today's medical world I'd say Dr. Kim is your doctor.

Starting from the unfriendly staff to the most uncaring, rude pediatrician I've met so far. When I called initially to make an appointment, I asked if he spoke English, which was not true. I wanted to communicate everything in English so we don't have any miscommunications but he just spoke Korean from the beginning. He didn't even acknowledge my child and pretty much told me to hold his arms down to just give him his 6 months vaccinations. I came from being a patient at Kaiser, which people say we're just a number, but even my son's pediatrician there took his time and answered all our concerns and was gentle with our baby. I cannot believe this doctor is still in the business. My experience here was horrible and I just felt like it was an express drive thru or some sort- seeing one patient to the next in very short amounts of time. I switched to another place soon after our experience back in February.
