They are relatively uncommon in our area so that's not surprising. So we met Jim Gowin at the house and he did an assessment and gave us an estimate and we set a date to do that actual treatment. The house is vacant at the moment so we had to make plans to come from out of town. Jim showed up on time (I was actually late and that was not a problem for him) and he took care of the problem. We hired them to get rid of our carpenter ants. They have been here twice and we have seen zero…read moreimprovement. In fact, we have more ants now than when we first called them. And in the last conversation we had, they say they cannot guarantee that the ants will ever be gone. So basically, all they will do is somewhat attempt to manage the ants and not eradicate them. If you question them on how this works, all they answer is "Trust the science." So we asked what does the science show? Will the ants be gone? When? Surely you have some idea. Nope. They could not give us any answers. The last person we talked to got so mad at us asking questions and wanting to know when the ant problem would be solved, that they stated they could not work with us and they ended the contract. Worst customer service we have EVER dealt with and they did not get rid of the ants.
