We will still try to receive our money, but dealing with this is completely bizarre. In the first place, we have purchased numerous palm plants from them in recent years (at least six). They planted and helped us improve our home. We paid in advance for soil and converting services that were supposed to be rescheduled, but the jobs were never accomplished. We've been attempting to contact them since, and we finally had to go there ourselves to request a refund. Ken T works there and told us the owner was out, but he'll make sure to contact her about this because he remembers there was no service provided. A month later, we get a message from him indicating he hasn't been able to reach her but would contact her as soon as he does. There's no word. As the months passed, we tried calling them several times, all of which went to voicemail, and we attempted to visit them, but they were only open during their winter hours. After leaving several voicemails at the provided phone number, our contact was blocked. We tried texting again on my partner's phone, and rather than addressing why she blocked us, she simply stated that since Ric died in 2022, we had no claims with them. I cannot imagine that this attitude is professional or welcoming. We bought these items from this company. We did not obtain these services. We hope Dee reads this and understands our frustration. We have purchased and used this company's services for many years, but we were treated this way during our most recent transaction. I hope we can resolve this. I hope none other has to deal with a similar circumstance. read more

Great group that can bring the feeling of the tropics to your yard! Ric was so responsive through the course of our planning a backyard landscaping and when the time came, helped us with palm trees. We opted for delivery and planting and enjoying chatting with the planters. They said we could reach out anytime if our palms have problems and I appreciate this resource just in case (you do pay some money for a decent sized palm, as is the case anywhere). So happy to have crossed this off my bucket list and I love my palms so much. read more

I was remodeling my back yard this summer and part of my vision was palm trees for landscaping. This way I can escape this Pacific NW doldrums and enjoy some Palm tree beauty will sitting on my deck. After some searching I located this place on the net. I placed a call , asked some questions and jumped in the BMW and drove out to the lot. Upon my arrival I was greeted by the owner who spent some time explaining the various trees , growth patterns and prices. Very friendly gentleman who I enjoyed experiencing his passion for his trees, he made the experience very enjoyable. I then walked through the lot and chose which tree's I desired for my yard. The beauty of having such a large variety of tree's is you can really choose every aspect of your tree from the size of truck, Palm branches and trunk lean. After your purchase he will have them delivered and installed for a minimal fee. I'd highly suggest you using this service cause moving around a 10ft Palm tree and digging a massive hole in the ground for installation is back breaking work. Once they were installed I smiled and patted myself on the back for choosing this amazing place to purchase my Palm trees. Next summer I'll be sipping cocktails and staring at these beautiful palms and all thanks to Palms Northwest, there the best. Thanks and I'll be back for more tree's. read more

I contacted this company and gave them a short background of my tree along with its age of 21 years. I asked them 2 questions which were the following: What type of palm is it and what is the replacement cost? This company answered my question on the type of tree it was which wasn't a palm and did not answer my question on replacement cost. Instead they gave an unsolicited opinion of what killed my tree without having all the facts since I never gave facts for an opinion on its demise. I then wrote a negative review calling them unknowledgeable. The owner replied by making up a claim that I had asked him for a false statement (lie) to blame the death of the tree on somebody else. This guy had the audacity to make up a lie about me and publish it on a site to defame me. I just bought a couple of windmill palms from Palms Northwest. The sales staff was super helpful and not pushy. The plants were delivered on the day promised. The delivery person went out of his way to lug a heavy palm pot to our preferred location. All and all, I had a great experience. Hopefully my palms will thrive in my care. read more

I bought two sable Riverside palms and two Chinese windmill palms here a while back. All 4 palms survived the first winter but the two sable Riverside palms died this past winter when we had a snowstorm in February. These palms aren't meant to grow here in Washington State even in zone 8. read more

I don't normally write reviews but I noticed this place doesn't get enough credit considering the rating. They were very helpful and kind, pricing was right on point for what I wanted to spend. As for the other reviews maybe don't give a place 1 star rating if you didn't visit, asking for free stuff or simply don't know how to take care of your plants. We went all over town looking for a palm tree. We were very frustrated until we stopped by Palms Northwest. They are not only Very knowledgeable about Palm Trees, but were patient with us and walked us through finding the best one for our needs (we found a ten foot tall Palm). Other places would not deliver, but Rick delivered and helped us plant our tree for a reasonable fee. They are the most down to earth people! We cannot thank them enough. Our Palm Tree looks fantastic in our yard! We will definitely be back for some smaller palms and will refer our friends to Palms Northwest! read more
