They were great, communicated the time window, kept me up to date when they would arrive. The technician was very friendly, explained the situation and recommend reasonable options. They were able to fix the issue on the spot, he even did some additional adjustments and lubed everything. Great service! read more

Transparent pricing transparent pricing transparent pricing! I can't stress enough how great this company is. Palm Garage was our third call after the springs of our garage broke, the first two calls to competitors obviously used some sort of SEO optimization and a call center and quoted me some ridiculously low price, only to come and bait and switch me with the service. They came and said it was 4x the price and then tried to offer me a 25% discount for the first visit. ChatGPT said this was the norm - which is so sad for the industry. So for Palm Garage I made sure to call them first and confirm the pricing (given that I know exactly what's wrong with the garage - broken spring that needed to be replaced as well as cycled light medium or heavy and other warranty). The business was so kind and they were able to come the next day to fix things up. Illia was great. Thank you kindly - I will recommend them to all my neighbors and friends. read more

Our experience with Palm Garage Doors was fast and professional. The Company's office returned my inquiry almost immediately. The next day their technician, Illia, arrived promptly and on schedule. He quickly diagnosed the issues with our non functioning garage door, and detailed the various options for repairs, and pricing for each. We choose the option that worked best for us, with upfront pricing and warranties. Illia was very knowledgeable, and within a couple hours, we had a "new" working garage door! We got three estimates for the repair of our garage door. Palms was the middle estimate for the kind of repair we wanted. The service technician, Illia, gave us several options and his recommended one matched what we had in mind. It was Illia that made us most comfortable with the work, and he was incredibly flexible in when he could get the work done. He kept in touch with us ver well, and was professional and efficient in the performance of the job. In the end, we were very happy with the result. We would definitely use Palms again and would recommend them highly. read more

This company is great. I remembered liking them when the came out a year ago. Today my garage door was having issues so I went through my emails and found the old receipt from them. Emailed requesting someone come by today. They called me back within an hour and had someone out just two hours after that. Both times, the technician was kind, professional and efficient. Today it was Oriel. He explained the issue without mansplaining to me (thank you!), took care of everything promptly and my garage door was good to go. And I think their cost was very reasonable and worth it. Highly recommend. read more

We have very good experience. We are happy to have a better garage door! Thanks so much! They were nice and polite!

I needed weatherstripping replaced on my garage door. Palms was the fastest of five companies to reply and they sent someone out within two hours. The repair was a little more involved than first expected. (Retainer had to be replaced as well) They updated me and set expectations right away. Work was completed promptly. read more

This is my second experience using Palms Garage Doors. On both occasions a technician was out to my home in less than 20 minutes. The first time was to diagnose the problem and to estimate the repair. It turned out the outdoor keypad wasn't in sync with the system's board, so the tech recoded it and all worked again, however due to age it could fail again which would be a $1,400 replacement. There was no charge for this first visit. Yesterday, unexpectedly the spring broke and the door wouldn't rise. Within 15 minutes the tech was there, immediately started working on the fix and 25 minutes later I was out the door . After two occasions contacting Palms, they have the highest degree of what service means every time. Both technicians were polite, clean, competent, and friendly. I was told the company will follow up a year from March 25th to make sure al is well with the garage door operation. Fantastic company!! read more

A few weeks ago they called and showed me the letter and told me the tech who cheated me has been removed. They refunded $ 400 out of $800 the guy charged. The owner said he has told all his techs to be honest and retrained to stop upselling conduct. I told him it could be his granddad or grandma and / or wife or sister who needs to be protected. So finally learning from them they tried to rectify their issues, I am happy to report that I recommend hiring them. Make sure how long it times them, what material they use( all of which are available at Amazon etc), are they doing what they came or called to perform. I am now satisfied. Thank you. I reached out for quotes via Yelp, and this company called me first, promising same-day service. I was so impressed by their prompt response that I decided to go with them and stopped taking other calls. Yohai and Ori arrived right on time and did an excellent job replacing my broken garage door spring. They also took the time to fix all the knobs on the door. Although I didn't shop around this time, based on my previous experiences a few years back, I think their pricing should be competitive--especially for the quality of service they provided. Overall I would recommend them for any garage door repairs. read more

My garage door had a damaged cable that needed to be replaced. + They were very responsive - It was very confusing when I called: I initially called Danville Garage Doors thinking I was calling someone local. I was told someone would call me back. The call back said they were from Palms. Palms who? Palms Garage Doors. They could come in an hour. Nice. I asked how much. The person said the technician would review that with me. I needed to have one cable replaced. It had been damaged when another contractor got an extension cord caught in it. The technician right away wanted to sell me new roll drums for the cable. I asked if they looked damaged and he said they might be worn out, 10 years old. Looked like new. Declined. Then he wanted to sell me new rollers. Same. Declined. Then I asked how much the service call, labor and parts would be. The technician said he didn't know yet; until he could see just what it needed. (it only needed a cable replaced). Then he proceeded to install two cables that were larger than the original. As a professional mechanical engineer I understand cables, roll drums, and all that. Bad idea to put on the wrong cable because it will damage the drum and likely cause other problems. He told me that this model would accept the larger cables. OK. Once they were installed they did look too large. He assured me that this was OK. Then he could not get the opener to program properly. He talked to the office and then told me my opener needed a new opener module. It had been working fine before. I told him it was because the wrong cable was installed. It was only then that he told me it would be $250.00, additional if I used a credit card. Gave him a check. He said he was return to deal with the programming problem. I asked him why he insisted on the large cables. It turned out that he did not have the smaller (correct) ones. He left. I looked up the parts from the part numbers that were stamped on the drum. Very common parts and available at Home Depot! The manufacturer specified the use of the small cables, not the larger ones he had installed. I called him and had him return and put back in my original cable. I tor up the check and thanked him for a wasted 3 hours. Not going to do that again. I felt like the technician would have been a very nice, honest guy if he was allow to be. Not my job though. read more

The technicians came quickly and fixed a misaligned sensor for free, nothing has charged! And did a safety and maintenance check too. Great job! The garage door opener gave me a hard time, and I couldn't use the MyQ app, it showed an error code, they diagnosed it quickly and were able to clear this error code. I would recommend them for any of your garage door needs read more

Good company. Very quick service. Nice job on installation. Friendly service. I would just recommend negotiating first. You'll most likely get the usual gimmick of first time customer, you get 10% off. My bad for not negotiating on a price. I most likely paid around $900 for labor that was a bit over an hour. Again, my bad. read more

Palms was the first to reach out. Nice people to say the least. Offered to come Sunday and fix which was a nice surprise. "OR" (sounds like OAR) came out and was so wonderful and kind. It's unusual, but I have to say, this was a good experience from the moment I called them to the completion of a new garage door installation. We had a little car vs garage door challenge, which left our garage door pretty much totaled. I called a few places (it was a Sunday), and Palms Garage Doors was the first to say they would have someone come out to take a look. The technician who came was prompt, clean, kind, and personable. He told me about a couple of options and prepared an estimate on the spot. I got a couple of estimates from other garage door companies as well. All the estimates were very close to each other. That said, some techs from other companies seemed a little shady. They seemed to sort of size me up before preparing an estimate. That may have been my imagination, or maybe not. We ordered the door the following day. The office called after sending us some brochures. When we made the order, the office reduced the price by $300, which was a nice surprise. When the door arrived 3 days later, it was exactly what we ordered, and the installer had the old door and hardware removed, and installed the new door, opener, tracks, and safety device complete in about 4 hours. I had to work that day and was a little worried about leaving my wife to make sure everything looked right. When I got home, I found my concern was needless worry. The door, tracks, and opener were installed perfectly. The new door is so quiet, my dog doesn't even wake up when we return from dinner or a date. It really is very quiet. All in all, Palms Garage Doors exceeded my expectations every step of the way. I would not hesitate to recommend them. read more

I got estimates from several garage door opener companies. Most of them were in about the same price range. I went with Palms Garage Doors because they sent out a technician to give me an estimate for free and he showed up in the shortest amount of time. Also I was told I could pay with Apple Pay. Two people were sent over within the time period we agreed on. They were very efficient in installing the new garage door opener.
