During the test drive there was a slight off feeling while accelerating, and he told me that it had not been driven in a while and that the tires needed time and air to adjust. I was on my way to Texas just a day or two later and almost flew off the road, both CV joints were busted. The guys at Brake Masters said that this was a pre-existing problem with the car. The dealer refused to pay for the services, said there is a 30 day warranty on mechanical issues as such regarding this and brakes but is claiming because they sold me the car for cheap that it is fair for them to not pay. I have filed in small claims court and complained to the California Bureau of Automotive Repair, and left a review on google. They are refusing to refund me for the money spent just on the joints that were busted when I got the car and the man lied to me when I specifically asked about it.

Thanks for putting my life in danger…read more I am financing a car through Sierra Valley Auto since December of 2016. In January of 2017 I contacted tony to take a look at and fix my warrantied car. My car was smoking badly on cold start up and went through a quart of oil every week. ZERO OIL LEAKS. my car ran fine, I just wanted him to fix this problem. I had to keep calling him because he wouldn't call me back. Until one week before my warranty was up. I called and said I was dropping the car off for them to fix. He quickly called me back and said that the problems were not covered under warranty. Without even looking at the vehicle. Fast forward to six months into financing, and he calls me and says he would like to get some good reviews from me so he's willing to fix my vehicle. After having the vehicle for one week, he returned it to me with paperwork from tire king, a tire shop, saying they did my engine repairs. Out of curiosity when I got home from picking up the car I called tire king to see if they did engine repairs and they flat out told me that they did not. Now my car is sitting in my driveway. Broken down. The same day I brought it home, I had oil streaming out of my car. I drove it to Firestone to take a look and the told me my valve gasket was leaking into my timing belt case. And I had an unidentifiable leak coming from further down. Starting cost to see what was wrong? 500$. Just to see. Firestone had just serviced my car a month prior. Never noting in their very detailed paperwork anything about leaks. Because there wasn't any. Now my whole engine compartment is covered in oil. My belts slipped off while I was on the freeway doing 65 and broke. And i have to choose to eat, and pay for the bus to get to work, or put yet ANOTHER GALLON of oil in it. But my car payments due in two days. Guess I should pay that. Thanks tony for the quality customer service, for ruining my car and for being too cheap to fix my car properly. The bureau of automotive repairs has opened a case against you over all of this. And I've also contacted three local news stations. Since that'll probably be the only way for Sierra Valley Auto to fix the damages that they've created. I will also be contacting the other people that left bad yelp reviews because of this same treatment to see if they want to open complaints with the bureau of automotive repairs as well.

We bought a 2010 Honda CRV for our daughter and the experience couldn't have been better…read more Haseeb is super friendly and straightforward. It was the quickest and simplest car buying process we've ever had. The car sales are just a bonus to the actual full service shop. We will definitely be back to utilize these services. The busyness of the shop while we were there also reflects just how good this place is. Haseeb was juggling a lot and doing it with a smile on his face. Thanks again!!!

Firstly, I will say the rating is not a 1 because my daughter and I found the people we dealt with…read moreto be friendly, somewhat accommodating to daughter's needs and desires, and (after purchase) didn't just totally brush off the problems she had, (which hadn't happened the two or three occasions when driving the car prior to purchase.) The buyer in this case was my daughter, but I was there for some of the time dealing with them. They allowed her to take the car to our mechanic. Except for a small glitch in the screen, the mechanic said the car was in good condition. The dealership said they would fix the screen and sure enough, the next day when my daughter went to check out the screen it had been fixed... so it seemed. Considering the following, I don't know what else the dealership knew about the car or not, but right after the purchase, not even getting it off the lot, the car, a Prius, would not stay in any gear and kept shifting back to N. Again, the people were nice and took it behind the fence to "fix" that. When they brought it back out, it was functioning properly again. The person who was dealing with us, I believe the owner, said, if this is still is a problem, come back and we'll look at it some more. The next day, my daughter was driving to an event and when she got there, the car would not turn off. Also, nothing was displaying on the dashboard when she first turned the car on that morning. She dealt with this before with a previous Prius, and when she called our mechanic, he confirmed the instrument cluster is going out and this can affect the car shutting off. To shut the car off, the 12v battery needs to be disconnected, which I was already on my way to where she was to do. Knowing how much gas was left in the car (again, not something visible when the display is out), I drove it around a little bit, and put some gas in it. When I got back to where she was, the car did actually shut off. Over the next few days, this working/not working would occur (including the display working/not working). Something we expected. She took the car back to the dealership to show them the problem... literally that there was no display and the car not shutting off. They said they would fix it and even give her a car for the day, BUT they wanted to put in used parts. Sometimes that's a fine answer, but for the instrument cluster, our mechanic said a used part is not the answer... in part because the mileage is part of that cluster. We told them a used part is not the answer, and the dealership did not want to put in a new cluster and even questioned that this was the problem. I actually found a Youtube video showing someone replacing the cluster and in the video was describing the exact problems my daughter was having. Considering... (1) that the screen is once again glitching (pressing on the right side "clicks" something on the left side), (2) that the shifter is once again "sticking", (we figured out a work around for that by manually just pushing it back the shifter back to its resting spot after selecting the needed gear), and (3) the dealership is questioning our previous experience and our mechanic (who knows about Priuses), my daughter and I have lost trust in them, and even with a used part, I wasn't sure they would have put that in properly. So we are going to have to put in a new cluster, and in the end, because the dealership was willing to put in a used cluster, they did give her some money back (a few hundred dollars) to go to the new cluster. I think their heart might be in the right place. I don't think they are bad people, but I think their mechanic is not qualified and giving them the best advice when fixing cars.

All we did was went asked for the vehicle they bring it up and let you test drive it. Also not to mention a lot of the reviews will say car broke down days after well triple crown is one dealer that lets you take the car for a test drive and inspection. I took the vehicle to get inspected at a trust shop I've been going to for years and once everything checked out we went straight to purchase super smooth transaction and just like that purchased a great vehicle. (Please note cars are sold as is so I would highly recommend taking it in for an inspection considering this dealer allows that which is awesome in my opinion. A lot of dealers won't allow you to take the car for inspections without you providing the entire inspection back to them) Since we purchased the car we have driving it 4000 miles and made 4 long road trips the car has been great!

Buyer Beware: Sold Me an Unsafe 2010 Prius and Offered Little to No Help:…read more I recently bought a 2010 Prius from Triple Crown Motors, and it was one of the worst car-buying experiences I've ever had. From the start, everything seemed fine during the sale, but as soon as I drove it off the lot, I noticed a concerning knocking sound. I took it straight to a Toyota dealership for a check, and they told me the rack and pinion and intermediate steering shaft were shot--not safe to drive at all. The repair estimate? A whopping $2,900. This is a major safety issue that should've been caught during their pre-sale inspection, but apparently, that's not how they operate. I reached out to "Tony", the sales manager, hoping for some goodwill. I wasn't asking for a handout--I just wanted them to chip in a bit since this was a hidden problem that put me at risk. I even emphasized that it was a safety concern and should have been disclosed. Tony's response? Flat-out no help whatsoever. He said they'd only look at it if I drove it back to them, which is insane because the car was deemed unsafe! When I asked if they'd cover a tow, he shut that down too. And when I politely requested his full name or email for further discussion, he got defensive and said, "Tony is all you need to know," then ended the conversation abruptly. This level of customer service is unacceptable. Triple Crown Motors clearly doesn't stand behind their vehicles or care about their customers' safety. I feel completely ripped off, and now I'm out of pocket for a car that's basically undriveable. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place--do your research elsewhere. Triple Crown might have deals, but at what cost? Not worth the risk.
