Some sketchy people work here. I called to see one specific vehicle and they said they will be there in 20 minutes. And no one showed up for 40 minutes yet whole time their people were in the office. Anyway i let it go And decided to shut my mouth so i can see the car. Checked the car front and back bumpers were replaced and painted different color and front left head light were replaced as well Which they said color totally matches. It had EVAP light on it. Owner's son said they can fix it before sale. After test drive, we walked in to talk numbers. Bunch of guys there trying to pressure to make a sale. I mentioned the problems it had plus i wanted that light to get fixed so i will buy it. Owner started blaming his son about what he said about fixing the light in their language. It was pretty obvious. They said they already fixed it and light still there. i wanted to see the parts receipt something that proof i could see If they tried to fix it as they stated. While owner started looking for that information he asked my ID saying he needed it to get something mumbling i really did not understand. At the time i was talking with other sons of him so i got distracted. Soon enough i noticed owner was working on sale paper without even telling me. they obviously don't lIke or welcome someone who got mechanical knowledges. I had a sketchy experience working with this dealer. I was very interested in a 2013 highlander hybrid (blue) that had a perfect Carfax report and seemed decently priced. I spoke with Zaid several times who affirmed the history, told me it was a great car and sent me a video walk through since I am out of the area. I scheduled the car to be evaluated by the local Toyota dealership (Maita) for a prepurchase inspection which they agreed to. 20 minutes before the scheduled appointment Zaid texted "When we purchased the vehicle from the auction it had a code related to hybrid system and we fixed the battery by replacing the bad cells with new one but it looks it need more attention So my son told the inspector before getting started About that and he told him it still the same So we need to take back to the shop Thanks for contacting us When it's ready 100% we will keep you posted if still interested and we can drop it for inspection Sorry for what happened ." They never would have disclosed this work they did on the car nor that there were codes unless they got cornered by the Toyota dealership. I'd stay away. Inquired about a car they had advertised on Craig's List. Car was way overpriced but looked clean in the pictures. I asked if there were any issues with the vehicle. They claimed it was in excellent condition with no issues at all. I told them I was driving 3 hours to see it and did not want to waste my time if wasn't what they claimed. They reassured me it was perfect. So I finally get to the lot and see the vehicle. The rear fender wells were rusted out as well as the inside of the lift gate. I asked, whom I suppose is the owner, he never even gave me his name, if the vehicle was from out of state. He said it was. I asked why he hid the damage in the photos he posted and wasted my time and he replied "do you want to take it for a test drive?" Don't trust this dealer. Car looked good in pics but they conveniently left out the areas with major rust damage. What else are they not telling customers. Ziadc at Discover Auto Sales is awesome. I just purchased a used Lexus IS 250 from his dealership (Discover Auto Sales). Throughout my search I visited several dealerships and without a doubt I can say that Discover/Ziadc was THE MOST reasonable, accommodating and competitively priced during this entire purchase process. While other dealers wouldn't even allow me to temporarily take off the dust covers off of the engine to actual be able to see and check the engine for leaks/damage, Discover Auto Sales did. While other dealers limited where and how I could test drive the vehicle, Discover Auto Sales had no issue and appreciated that I explained each item I would be testing during the test drive. Other dealers tried to hide their car's problems or potential issues. Discover Auto Sales did not. When I did find some repairable issues, Ziadc was truly unaware and thanked me for bringing them to his attention. He offered to have all items fixed by his mechanic prior to purchase. He also allowed me to take the vehicle to my own mechanic to fully inspect. In the end I opted for my own mechanic and negotiated amicably on a reasonable price for both of us and got the deal done. Ziadc is very honest, reasonable and truly conducts business fairly. His website states "We consider customer satisfaction to be our highest priority." That isn't just a slogan but definitely something that is implemented and followed. Bottom line if you can't get a reasonable deal done with Discover Auto Sales & Ziadc then their must be a problem with you as a buyer because they are definitely very reasonable to work with. I called about a 2011 Ford Escape hybrid that was listed and asked if there was a cash discount available. Ziad said there was but he wouldn't give me the price over the phone. I told him I would have to drive 5 hours to get to the lot and I wasn't going to make the trip without having the money ready in case I decided to buy it. I can understand needing someone on the lot for a trade-in appraisal, but I consider this a pretty big red flag when dealers won't give you the cash price for upfront paid-in-full over the phone.
