Husband kept saying he would look into doing something, but it never happened. I pulled up to my house after work last month and was just embarrassed at how ugly and dead it was. I told hubby we needed to fix this ASAP. He got quotes from three places via Yelp, and Jose & Jesus were the most affordable by far. They even said they would trim our tree in front! We booked them immediately and they were able to come out within days to do the work. Today they showed up right on time and got to work. They removed all the dead stuff, tilled the ground, cut back the tree, and put in all new dirt. It looks SO GREAT! Husband wasn't sure if he wanted to do the new landscaping himself, or hire somebody, so he got a quote from them and we will be hiring them soon to redo the irrigation and plant new things. I am absolutely thrilled with the work they did! They did a great job of cleaning up, they were super polite, and kept my husband informed throughout the day of their progress. If you need any landscaping done I cannot recommend them enough!

Our experience with this company was extremely disappointing…read more The crew initially came out and removed two palm trees, but told us they would need to return to complete the stump grinding. The day they were supposed to come back, no one showed up. For an entire week, I called and texted multiple times asking when they would return, but received no response. Ironically, the only time I finally heard back was after I sent a message saying I would be leaving a Yelp review. Suddenly, the owner sent someone out that same day to finish the stump grinding. When the work was completed, my husband asked the worker what payment was due. He didn't give us an answer. Prior to that, the owner had mentioned giving us some type of discount because of the inconvenience, but he never confirmed the final amount owed or when payment was expected. Nothing was put in writing. The following week, the original worker unexpectedly showed up with another employee, saying they were there to finish the job. I explained that the work had already been completed by someone else the owner had sent. At that point, they told us we still owed money. My question is: Why wasn't the final balance communicated when the work was completed? Why wasn't anything provided in writing? We specifically asked about payment and were given no information. Instead of communicating clearly, they came back later expecting payment without ever having discussed the final amount or due date. The lack of communication, missed appointments, and overall disorganization made this a frustrating experience. I would not recommend this company based on how our job was handled

The previous owner decided to have some plants and greenery. I don't have a green thumb, nor do I want to deal with it and got rid of everything years ago. Our HOA has a huge tree (I don't know what kind it is, I just know it's annoying) growing right outside our patio and drops the worst twigs and branches. They're not easy to blow out and get embedded into the dirt. So between these twigs/branches and weeds growing, our patio looked like a jungle. Alex came over on Thursday and cleaned it up quickly. He put some weed killer (I forgot the term he used) to help prevent further growth. Our last gardener didn't do that for us so it was nice. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the job and would hire him again.
