OMG!! so many pots especially large ones at reasonable prices. This place is HUGE! I went 2 weeks ago it was blazing hot. I can't say that the look of the plants are lush and vibrant... however you must keep in mind that i've been on a #nurserycrawl for 6 weeks now so I have some good idea at what plants looked well cared for daily and I can say that for the larger nurseries they aren't ALWAYS kept as tidy as others. As for service no one bothered me nor engaged me to see if I needed help... I did come close to closing though so perhaps they were occupied there were 3 staff personal I saw in total. Parking was inside the premises. I didn't see bulbs, seeds or tools to hand your plants either but this isn't that sort of place. If you are looking for planters made in Mexico at an affordable price and mind you they have LOTS definitely come here. Respectfully Reviewed. read more

Memo is fantastic! He takes very good care of the plants and is very reasonable with pricing.

My daughter is a plant addict!! So where ever we may be she likes to look for plants. Visiting Chino was no exception. We stopped off in Memo's. We walked the entire nursery in 100 degree heat. The selection was wonderful. It was an enjoyable time being able to take in a wide variety of flowers, succulents, bushes and trees. We made the drive home with her treasures she found. Be assured if she thought she could get more plants in the vehicle on the way home there would have been more. read more

I decided to come here on a whim one day with my sister, because 1) she was having a bad day and I wanted to make her feel better and 2) my sister loves gardening. I'm glad that I made the choice to visit. This nursery seems like it's privately owned by a family and is located on a wide side of the street in the city of Chino. The nursery is very spacious and has many assorted types of plants. They also sell gardening supplies, tools, accessories, and furniture. Plus, the prices aren't too bad either. My sister bought 5 plants and the price came out to be around $10. The gentlemen who helped us with our purchase inquired us that there is a $10 minimum if you want to use a credit or debit card. We will probably return back if we're looking for more plants or supplies. read more

This place has a wide selection of plants, trees, agave, succulents, and some cacti. They also sell planters and even small boulders. I came here specifically looking for large cacti for front yard landscaping, but didn't find too many options. Their large cacti were pretty limited to Peruvian apple cacti and I didn't see any Mexican fence post cacti. Their succulents are not in bad shape, but not in the best shape either. Succulents are super resilient, but some of the ones here look like they could benefit from a bit more care. The nursery is pretty big and When we got there, we couldn't find anyone - had no idea if anyone was even working there at the time or not. We eventually found the little area to the right of the entrance where someone was able to help. Prices are fair; the guy working there that day spoke minimal English but we managed to get the transaction done with no hiccups. read more

My first visit was about 5 months ago and I couldn't find anyone to help me so I just walked around and left. 2nd visit I was able to find someone, but it was very hard to tell who's the customer and the employees apart. There isn't much succulent selection as previous reviews and photos, but I did bought an overgrown zebra plant in terra cotta pot for $10, and 2 6" pot for $5 each. Quality of succulents are ok, but lacks in variety. Hopefully will have more varieties next time I visit. read more

This place is alright. The workers and possibly (the boss perhaps?) are all spread out. I went two times and it's pretty much like you are on your own. The second time when I brought my mom (She's in her 60's and I'm concerned about her lifting heavy things) was asking about a wooden patio set... she asked one of the workers and his response was "It's underneath the set..." he ended it like... Go check yourself kind of thing. I overheard this conversation and didn't want my mom to do any lifting so I ran over and told her I would check.... HELLO?? Is customer service not a thing here? The selections are pretty good but are not too many. I was looking at some plants for indoors and the plants that would make do were pretty much dying... although I would support a local business, how could I when the selections are few and far between? Don't worry friends, I still bought two plants off Memo's (they haven't been growing too well either, it may be my own plant skills or how they were propagated to sell? Not sure) Either way, I honestly think Lowes and Home Depot have better selections for indoor plants... read more

Found a chair there quite unexpectedly! So happy! It was super cheap and fit in my porch perfectly.

First timer about a month ago and I want to say I received courteous service from a kind gentleman upon entering the nursery. I came because I'm starting to plant succulents and I found that there were not a lot of them to choose from. I did end up getting about $130 worth of them and they're growing just fine. My 3 stars is just because there was not a lot of variety. I saw repeated ones in other areas and larger is the same but in other areas as well. It's a very nice place to visit though and I really loved the metal artwork and planter displays. read more

Loved this nursery! A lot of variety, very reasonably priced & the owner was very helpful. Yes, it is somewhat self serve but I like that. Mainly for large plants and big landscape projects. I was in need of small hobby plants, which this place doesn't seem to do.

We couldn't find anyone to help us so we left after being there for about 15 min. It really felt like we were the only humans at this place. Their succulents are also soooo sad, I don't think anyone really looks after them. There's also a lot of spider webs covering them. read more

Long time customer, but not coming back. Was never greeted upon arrival. The clerk was waiting on very pompous person. After several minutes, I turned to leave. The other customer decided to take the opportunity to cuss me out for leaving. I cannot repeat the slurs here in a PG rated community. The place has very much declined since the new owners took over. Domingo has come back into the picture more over the past 6 plus months and he is back to being my guy for all my projects plants. I usually give him a 1-2week lead time on my plant list. He has about a 90% success rate and as far as I am concerned that's awesome as I am a picky client who knows what he wants. Best prices in town with a beautiful selection of succulents. We redid our entire back yard so they discounted plants when they new we were buying over 20 plants and trees. They We're extremely helpful and they even make their own potting soil from organic materials and no chemicals. Much better price than your typical hardware stores. read more

I like this place. I found a large silk floss tree he had in the back that had grown out of the box. I wanted it really bad, and they dug it out for me with a Bobcat. I've been to just about 20 nurseries in the local area lately trying to complete our garden. Hands down, Memo's Nursery has the BEST PRICES!! The staff are really nice people and you won't beat the selection of pots, planters, and general plants at the most reasonable prices. My only issue is that most things aren't labeled. They don't have some of the specific plants I need or want and when Delia isn't there, my Spanish isn't always sufficient to communicate exactly what I'm looking for. Nonetheless, they're incredibly nice, prices are unbeatable, and it's one of the only nurseries I make repeat visits to. It's definitely the best value around when your looking for general gardening items. read more

I'm really grateful to have this nursery in my neighborhood! They have a wide variety of plants including succulents (which is what I come for) and pots! No where to park? Called to ask about it but bad reception. Drove by again and again to find parking..suddenly lot is closed. It's only 5.44pm when it clearly states closes at 7. I went out of my way to see this nursery..so annoyed. Maybe I'll update this if I ever get a chance to see what's inside. read more
