The next thing went wrong within the first 2 weeks is the the check engine light, it went on because of the faulty oxygen sensor. Went back to them 3, 4 times they couldn't fix it. It cost me 300 dollars to fix it. And the next is the rear passanger side's brake caliper. It got stuck and lots of smoke came out. Went back to them and got fixed. Then is the leaking structs. They refused to replace them even it is still in warranty period. That cost me another 500 bucks. Moreover, the guy owns that place treats you like a customer before you buy the car from him. After that, when you go back to him to fix the car (still in warranty), he talks to you like you owe him a lot of money, no manner at all.

John gave me Carfax reports and was up front about the car histories. He went with me on the 2 test drives (apparently some dealers don't?) which took us through various driving conditions. The son advised me he would pick up my Brother at his home, later that day. "They" would complete everything at the DMV and my Brother could drive his new car home that day. We just purchased a used car from Quail Auto Sales and could not have had a better buying experience! We had been looking for a car for our son for a long time at numerous dealerships. Although there had been cars at other dealerships that we were interested in enough to purchase, we never found sales staff that made us feel comfortable that the information we were given was reliable. For us the car was important; but equally as important was feeling that we had gotten a fair deal and trusting that what we were buying was without hidden issues. This is why we purchased from John and Steve Aidala. Their dealership is locally owned and has been for many years. The Aidala's have been part of the Albany community and pride themselves in maintaining a superior standard of service and fair business practice. We saw the car online on a rainy Saturday 30 minutes prior to Quail Auto Sales closing for that day. My husband called to make sure that they were still open and that the car was on their lot. Their website said they were not open on Sundays and we knew that this Prius was a great find. John answered the phone and my husband asked if he could make it there 10 minutes before closing, could he still look at the car? John told him that the rain would make it difficult to really look at the car and he would be happy to meet him there the next day to show him the car, even though they aren't open on Sunday. Every single interaction after that was the same good customer service, fair dealings and just an over all good feeling purchasing a car from them. I will return again to buy from Quail Auto and have recommended them to friends and family.

The $125 fee was lower than I'd seen a few other places charge, and the owner refused to take any share of the generous tip I offered after such great service. This money was better spent for my mental health and overall happiness than a therapy session would have been. And, yes, the big scary-looking dog barks, but get permission to connect and you'll see that he was really asking to be petted. A real sweetheart, he made me laugh out loud with cute antics.
