A extra large box with all equipment loose, NO packing, No original box inside a box like they require in their 30 alleged return policy. -NO instructions at all -Missing an overpriced camera which I found out from tech support the system only handles 6 not 8 cameras!!!!! 75% of CO detectors died in 24 hours and after multiple resets=failed PIR sensors died in less than 90 days with little to no activity of course that is when they stayed in position[none did without additional support.] --The best part is NO doorbell or camera could be added until tech support told the monitor unit! WTH +The only item that lasted over six months was the door monitors! LOL -Rip off prices e.g. $75 for a CO detector the system could not even monitor! $30 on amazon that works!

I called Brian and with a quick response, he came over to my house to see what I needed. I was looking to bring my Cablevision to an detached garage, along with wifi and to also bring my cable out to the back of my home for a TV, along with the installation of the wall brackets and TV's as well. This required outside trenching a conduit for the cable from the house to the garage and going under a cement and paver walkway. Brian came, checked it out, had me rest at ease knowing that it can be done no problem. His crew of 2 hard workers, Chris and his Ryan showed up and started the job with diligence. They started by surveying the site for the best route of running the wires, and got to work. These guys worked all day running cables (cat5 wire) and installing all that was needed. They needed to come back a second day to finish up. Chris and Ryan were amazing working really hard as a team and not stopping. My end product...I have my 2 TV'S installed and my wifi repeater in the garage as well. These guys are amazing!! I already discussed with Ryan now a security system and well be getting that done in the future. He gave me a great price on that too. He is coming this Friday to install an electric box on the roof of my garage room to hang a chandeli over a board table. These guys rock. They are professionals and get the job done!

Naturally it soon fell off. It was an improper installation, but did they just fix it? No, they had a man come out, do it correctly, but charged me near a hundred dollars service to fix their bungling mistake. Then surprise! The thing has a battery in it that wears out. Worse part, it's no simple battery. It's a custom priority battery. They'll sell you one but then there is a 13 step set of instructions to install it! Forget that. Might just as well spend around a hundred dollars having one of their technicians do it. Worse, it's hit and miss as to how long these batteries will last. I had one last two years and one only last a week. I don't recommend ADT, plain and simple.

I told them the installer never told us it was a 3 year contract but a two year contract so what can I do to rectify this. He told me I could move my service for the remaining time to my new home and then end the contract. The house was sold in august and I called them before closing. They charged us for September and October at the old house then they came and installed a system at our new address which they said was "free" and charged us $80.25 for the installation then charged our account $ 756.00 for cancellating the contract on our previously owned home !! I just went through the roof and called them and the customer service guy said " oh sorry let me see what we can do to get your money back. Now it's going to take 7 to 10 days to pay us back. Hopefully they will or I'll be calling again and again. Stay away from them there are other security companies out there.
