Totally Tan did not disappoint. Customer service is polished, fun and respectful and spray tan machines are well maintained and thoroughly cleaned between consumers. I asked why the price increase and they had taken it upon themselves to include foot pads and a lotion for $11 extra. I told them I've never been charged for foot pads and I don't need lotion. They proceeded to tell me it won't last as long and I really need this lotion for it to work. I said no and paid the base $40. I'm upset they tried sliding in charges I didn't ask for.

I'm super fair and pink toned so I have a really difficult time finding a tan that doesn't run orange on me or too dark, mine was the perfect tone here. I had a great experience with the staff at this location - were they a little salesy? Sure, but nothing too pushy so I didn't mind. The employee that sprayed me was so sweet and made me feel super comfortable. The tan itself only took about 10 minutes, nice easy and quick. I bought a travel moisturizer and extender since I'm out of town for two weeks - they run pricey but it was worth trying. I would say,: find your own moisturizer but the extend is super helpful. A tip is to start extend on day 3 of your tan and it should keep it in tact better - I started day 4 and it definitely helped but I'm still a bit patchy (nothing too noticeable). Overall, I will definitely be back for special occasions!

Stella is hilarious and was very kind to my mother (who was anxious about being berated about the state of her feet, pre-pedicure). The massage chairs were nice, and they were easy for my 8 &1/2 month pregnant self to get in and out of without too much trouble. (I also liked that the chairs push back from the tubs quite a bit so I could really stretch my legs out instead of perching like a hawk practically right on top of the pedicurist the entire time, which is very uncomfortable....Rita's.) $35 for a good 30 minute soak (with lots of bubbles!), scrub, foot and calf massage, LOTS of cuticle oil and a great paint job AND an amusing stylist with a Jersey accent? They said I had canceled it myself online (which I didn't as I advised that's why I left the voicemail explaining the situation) then said it was because I interchange my last name. I can't help it that their site uses gmail which automatically populates my maiden name. I was a repeat customer each month for waxing services but as they seemed to get more comfortable with me, the quality of the service seemed to start declining. I'd go home sometimes and still have hair where it was supposedly just waxed a few hours ago. I stayed with them out of convenience and because you get a discount for repeat wax services but I think now I will pay a little bit more for better quality. Guess you get what you pay for.
