I've found the variety of offerings, friendly staff, and cleanliness to be a winning combination! Highly recommend!

After a terrible day I decided to treat myself to my first ever spray tan. Someone had turned down the volume on the machine so I never received any instructions. My back was sprayed twice. They did allow me to spray my front but I'm very worried about how I'll look for weekend events. Staff could not have cared less. Thanks for making a terrible day even worse. read more

As far as tanning salons go, this one is pretty good. It is clean, well maintained and has a lot of different options depending on which membership you get. I got the celebrity membership just because you can tan in any bed plus you get additional services (which I found out I don't really use) but it is nice to have the option for red light therapy etc. I ended up just cancelling the membership because it is basically $88 a month to just tan 2x a week (I can go to Palm Beach Tan and pay $45-$50 a month for that). So, if you use additional services and have time for that, this probably makes sense for you. I never minded Totally Tan because I never felt like they were constantly trying to sell me on lotion or anything. Only reason I'm cancelling is because I didn't use the additional services and probably won't because I can't sit in a tanning salon for an hour lol. This place is horrible they don't care about there clients and when there going through hardships I've tried to cancel my account because me and my family are homeless at the moment and I couldn't afford the place and we are couch hopping in Iron River MI I politely explained my situation and they could care less they are rude and they don't inform you when you go to cancel your contract you have to put it in writing I thought me going in person and telling them to cancel my account was enough but the never canceled it now me my husband and my to kids have no food and we can't afford the shelter tonight thanks alot totally tan your company and it's practices are shady all me and my kids have to live on is my ssi as I am permanently disabled and only get 674$ a month this was a huge hit for my family read more

I want to start out to say that Totally Tan as a company I love and would rate a 5, love their services,very clean, totally great. I loved this location to until a certain employee ruined it. The employee ruined this location so much for me I will drive an extra 30 minutes out of my way to go to a different location so avoid interacting with her. She pushes products on you like I have never witnessed before. Every single time "what lotion are you using. well you should use this lotion blah blah" I reply "ok great unfortunately I can't make the purchase today but definitely will next time or soon!" She keeeeep pushes.On one occasion, I counted how many times I had to repeat myself and say " no thank you, maybe next time", repeated it TEN times, just to go tanning. I spend just as long as front desk her trying to sell my stuff as I do actually tanning. Being that I already spend over $100 a month on my tanning membership, I think this is just so rude Some examples of things she says: "Its completely pointless to go tanning if you are going to use that lotion." "Why don't you just charge it to the card we have on file" I specifically said I have cash I want to use, forgot at home. "The lotion you are using is horrible i'm sure you bought it on amazon and its completely fake its like some generic lotion not even tanning lotion." - didn't buy on amazon, friend who works at salon bought for me " Weren't you supposed to buy this lotion last time" - current bottle not empty yet... You can promote and try to sell products I get thats your job but she takes it way too far and is quite irritating ruins tanning experience. Purchased two one sessions in the float for my husband and self. Super excited to try this out and maybe add to our relaxation options if we liked it. On the day of our appointment our dog had a medical emergency so I called as soon as they opened and asked to please reschedule and was told absolutely not. I explained that if I wasn't allowed to reschedule they would be losing my business because we were very interested in trying this. Ashley was very condescending and basically gave me the old line of " if we do it for one, we have to do it for all". There is no reason in a case of emergency that someone can't make an exception. We were extremely disappointed with their business operations. We lost $100. I'll be looking for a different place to try floating. read more

I am very new to the indoor tanning world, and I basically stopped in to try to even out my ridiculous farmer tan that I got from working outdoors on a daily basis. After talking to one of the friendly employees I ended up getting a membership. The second time I came in I spoke with Erika/Erica, and she informed me of all the different services that came with my membership. She was also very knowledgeable about all the benefits of red-light therapy. I had no idea that there were so many different types of things I could do with my membership besides tanning. I am pretty active, and I do weight strength training 3 x week and now that I know that I can use the aqua massage bed (very awesome) as well as the red-light therapy beds and tanning beds in one visit I will be adding this to my post workout routine for sure. The space is very clean, and the staff has been really cool, friendly and inviting every time! Erika/Erica is my favorite!! read more

Extremely clean, the people are friendly, and they have great options. I appreciate that they gave us a tour when we first walked in.
