They hadn't updated their location on Google maps so I went to their old location in uptown. Called to figure out why I couldn't see their studio with no answer. Go to the website and realize the location had moved. Rescheduled for 2 days later and went to the correct location but she was a no show. Wouldn't answer calls or texts. read more

The place is a little difficult to find. 1 it's on top of another business. 2. it's a unit in the middle of a bunch of unrelated beauty related businesses. The process was easy enough. and Jenny is super friendly and fast. I did have quite a bit of skin that lifted when I got waxed which is not pleasant. I don't know if it was a speed thing or if I just need hard wax instead of the strips? I don't thinks it's a service I will be using again. read more

Jenny is easy-going and is such a professional. I had never had my waxed, and now I feel life is incomplete without it! I have extremely sensitive skin. Jenny is particular, fast and efficient; she does not go over and over multiple times, in turn this saves the skin. She has many pointers in maintaining skin health post-wax. These pointers benefited me in helping my skin heal quickly; also making it easier to go through for the second Wax. I highly recommend booking an appointment with Jenny! She is the best! read more

Foxy Wax Studio - Waxing Near Me - Plymouth, Minnesota

Love going to Jenny at Foxy Wax Studio for all of my waxing needs. The absolute best Brazilian wax I've ever had! I want her to wax everything now because it's super painless and easy! Worth every penny. read more

The place is clean, tidy and spells really good. Jenny is awesome. She is so good at making conversation to distract you from the pain. Not only she cleans the hair well, she also does it very quick as well so you don't even feel that much. I will definitely come back! read more

Jenny is awesome! Makes the process as simple as possible. Great prices and easy to talk to in a somewhat awkward situation! Glad I can support someone local instead of a chain. read more

Jenny is the best! I, like the other Yelp reviews have followed her to her own studio. She is very quick and truly talented at what she does. Doesn't make things uncomfortable or awkward. As you can see she has very loyal followers which prove how amazing she is! read more

I have been seeing Jenny for several years now, whenever I'm in need of some smooth, hairless, skin. She's down to earth and a perfectionist when getting rid of unwanted fuzz. Plus, her rates are great and she's not easily phased. She's awesome and I hope you support her business because she's amazing! read more

Excellent esthetician: I am right there with all the rest of the reviewers that followed her to her new place, so I will try to share some additional information as to why I followed her. 1. I have been around the world and back. I have been waxed in many countries and states, including, but not limited to Australia, Costa Rica, Boston, MA, New York, NY, Hartford, CT, and several places around the Twin Cities. Jenny is among the elite few and is of the highest caliber of estheticians. 2. I'll be honest I have had some awesome waxes by some awesome estheticians, but what sets Jenny apart is her prices and her down to earth and charming personality. 3. Great customer service! 4. Super organized and punctual. Three and four were the main reasons why she decided to open up her own place and why it was a no brainer to follow her. The prices at her last place were comparable, but the customer service and organization was sh#t! They ran out of supplies often and one girl even told me, "we ran out of the sticks to do eyebrow waxing and they dont really do eyebrow waxing anymore". Are you kidding? After I took 3 buses to get to my brazillian/ eyebrow waxing appointment you tell me you cant complete the job?! Wow! Enough ranting about the negative, Jenny is the best and if you make her use the hard wax on your Brazilian it hurts way less than a lot of other places and compared to the places that do use hard wax for brazilians she is WAY cheaper. read more

I've been going to Jenny on a regular basis for about 2 years now! She is the absolute best! She is a great conversationalist, which is essential for distraction and makes things quick and as painless as can be. Best waxes ever and best prices! I've been to some chain waxing salons where you end up paying more for a less than stellar wax. Go see her! read more

Jenny is the best. She is prompt, clean and has a friendly vibe. I live in EP, she is worth the travel.

Jenny is amazing. I wasn't sure what to expect but Jenny made it comfortable and not awkward. She takes the time to connect with you and have meaningful conversation to keep you distracted. This is not something I thought I would, I was doing it for a special occasion. After the experience and seeing Jenny it is something I will continue to do. read more

Jenny's a true pro: -Affordable without sacrificing quality -Has variable hours so you can find something that fits your schedule -Friendly and overall a great person to talk to -Won't answer the phone in the middle of a visit unlike other salons -Accepts both men and women as clients The hardest thing is the parking - and that's out of her control unless she doubles her prices and gets her own building. There's plenty of accessible street parking nearby however - both free and metered. read more

I made a yelp account just to post this reivew - Jenny was FANTASTIC! I went to her a few days before my wedding for legs, underarms, brazilian... the works. I've gotten brazilians from several places, and she did by far the best job - no stray hairs or plucking afterwards. She was fast but also friendly, chatting just enough to keep you distracted but not so much that it felt awkward. She used both soft and hard wax; I think I prefer the soft wax myself. It's been three weeks since my wedding, and the hairs are just starting to come back in noticeably. I live out of state now, but I'll be planning my waxes around my trips home! read more

Jenny is amazing and, even though waxing is a painful experience, I love visiting her. She's fast, gentle, thorough and professional. And her prices are great! Never had a better wax experience. read more

I'd been to Foxy Wax once before and had a good experience. However, my second attempt was a disaster. First of all, the location is incredibly difficult to find as the door is kind of off of an alley or parking lot (she changed locations between my first and second visit). I had to ask the guys in the Potbelly where to go. Keep in mind I'd been calling the studio itself to ask for help for about 15-20 minutes, but Jenny didn't answer. When I finally found it and got upstairs, I was late (prob by about 10 minutes) and Jenny rudely told me she wasn't going to be able to take me because I was a "new" client (although I was not) and she wasn't going to make her regular client wait to service me. So at this point I'd been rushing to find the location and calling her in an attempt to get her help and then she acts as if "new" clients are not as important as her regular ones so sorry about your appt, you wasted your time in Uptown traffic to get here. Also, keep in mind that for a 30 min appt slot, those 10 minutes shouldn't have been make or break for being able to service her next client in a timely fashion. I won't even delve into how unprofessional it is to run a business and not ever answer the phone... While I respect and understand she has commitments to other clients, it was her attitude and disregard for my time because I was a "new" client that was truly upsetting. Who just rudely tells a client in essence, I don't care that you're put out, my "regular" client is more important than you, there's nothing I can do about it. She didn't even offer another date I could return or any kind of discount if I WERE to return in order to apologize for the inconvenience. Again, even if she felt she couldn't honor the appt, at least have a grasp on the basic tenets of customer service to say "I can't take you now but here are other slots I am available" or at the VERY least an "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience." But certainly not a "You're new. Nothing I can do. *shrugs*" response. Her attitude was awful and I vowed never to return again. Instead I go to The Refinery. Super easy to get an appt, in and out (in much less than 30 minutes mind you) and they answer the phone when you call! read more

Jenny was amazing! I've had the most difficult time finding a new wax person in minneapolis, and one day I found the Groupon deal for Foxy Wax. I'm so glad I did. She was professional, great customer service, relaxed, and I didn't feel rushed. Jenny is the only one I will go to for all my waxing needs! read more

Normally I despise thousands of tiny hairs ripped from my body, but Jenny makes the whole experience an exceptional one. An inviting studio and clean equipment, fun and distracting conversation, and perfectly thorough waxing are some of the reasons I have continued to see Jenny since trying her services with a Groupon. read more

Jenny is absolutely amazing! I have just moved from Chicago and my search for a great brazilian wax is over. She was fast, professional and great prices. I couldn't recommend Foxy Wax Studio enough! read more

Scheduled a waxing appointment with Jenny through her online booking service. I did try to call to schedule, but never received a call back. I had to reschedule my initial appointment because of a family emergency, but I canceled with 24+ hours of notice (as I recall, I was not in a great state of mind but it was close) and rescheduled for a week later at the same time. Today, I drove the 30+ minutes to her space in terrible traffic and SHE NEVER SHOWED UP FOR THE APPOINTMENT. I waited 15 minutes, but the space was dark and locked the whole time. Mind you, I got numerous reminders of my appointment through the booking service, so I thought I had confirmed. I called twice today when she didn't show up, and no response. I'm not sure if she just doesn't use that online booking service -- but then why is it on her page? And, why won't she return calls? I was really excited to give her a shot because of all the great reviews but new clients, beware. Her customer service is absolutely terrible. EDIT: Just saw, seven hours later, that she texted me one and a half hours before the appointment to cancel (I didn't see it all day, my phone is not working). Not okay, but at least better than not showing up at all. I still will NOT be rescheduling. read more

I just moved back to the Twin Cities and I am SO glad to have found Jenny. She is so quick and the wax is practically pain free! Her prices are great and I will definitely be a regular client! read more

Jenny gives a fantastic wax and has a fantastic personality to match; however she had to reschedule 2 if the 3 waxes I had with her. One of which was cancelled an hour and a half before the apt and was a major inconvenience to me as I was leaving for a trip the very next day. Ended up with a terrible bikini line the whole week from having to shave instead, which was very frustrating. You do a great job Jenny, but I need someone a bit more reliable. Sorry! read more

I have been to the Vida and to the Kitten and a few others but Foxy Wax reigns above them all. A male waxing needs a skilled professional who is quick, painfree, offers suggestions and has a personality who treats you as if you were her only client. Jenny has all these qualities and more. She is on top of her game. Jenny is the best. Guys do not worry if this is your first time or 100th time. Jenny is a true professional and ranks number 1 of all the Waxers in the Twin Cities. Her studio is clean and spotless unlike some others where you worry about the sanitary conditions of the place and of the wax and supplies. No need to worry. I highly recommend getting a wax with Jenny and you will never go to anyplace else. Guys do yourself a favor if your considering getting a wax. Wouldnt you want a tremendous outcome on your body to show off to your significant other or just to make yourself look and feel good I have tried the rest, go to the best. You deserve it. Go to Jenny. Book it! read more
