I had used goGLOW in the past during college, tried out a few places inbetween, and found myself back here since it truly is the best tan in the TC! I'm super fair and pink toned so I have a really difficult time finding a tan that doesn't run orange on me or too dark, mine was the perfect tone here. I had a great experience with the staff at this location - were they a little salesy? Sure, but nothing too pushy so I didn't mind. The employee that sprayed me was so sweet and made me feel super comfortable. The tan itself only took about 10 minutes, nice easy and quick. I bought a travel moisturizer and extender since I'm out of town for two weeks - they run pricey but it was worth trying. I would say,: find your own moisturizer but the extend is super helpful. A tip is to start extend on day 3 of your tan and it should keep it in tact better - I started day 4 and it definitely helped but I'm still a bit patchy (nothing too noticeable). Overall, I will definitely be back for special occasions! read more

I have gotten many spray tans from go glow on France Ave in Edina for my sport and have been happy with my results. But I just went recently and the girl who did me and the rest of my teams spray tans didn't make it dark enough and wouldn't listen or allow us to go darker. compared to previous trips to go glow the difference in color is crazy. The spray tan I just got was such a waste of money because it didnt add any color to me. read more

I had only had one spray tan before and goGLOW sets the bar high! I impulsively wanted to get a spray tan before my friend's wedding - the bride and other bridesmaid recommended this location! The gal who helped me was super sweet and explained the process start to finish. She also asked exactly how I wanted my tan to look and thoroughly explained aftercare. Since I came in unplanned, I bought their super comfy sweats to wear afterwards (loose clothing!) and bought some body wash and lotion (it's gotta beat the stuff at the hotel where I was staying!). She said she walked in and felt so judged by the girls working the front desk. The girl she had was patronizing her the whole time and making her feel stupid. Went last year when they were at still on 50th and had a great experience. Yesterday, not so much. The person doing this didn't exactly inspire confidence. First I stood there in my underwear while she tried fruitlessly to untangle the hose. 2 minutes in the bottle fell off the hose, she never had it connected properly. I have sensitive skin that's usually not compatible with most formulas and colors (I've had some of the "top" sprays and creams turn me orange or even greenish), I've never had a single problem or irritation with the formula and it's always the perfect Golden/Brown every single time. (I use the "Giselle" shade, by the way, which is fitting to my name.) The training and customer service is unmatched. At the end of every session, they'll always as you to look in the mirror and confirm if you need any touch ups or additional application to ensure satisfaction. I'd also recommend investing in the touchup spray, cleanser and exfoliation mits - those are a staple at my house! read more

My first and probably last time here. I scheduled an appt and waited almost half an hour to be seen. It seemed like a pretty busy night. I wish they were more communicative and at least acknowledged me and let me know someone would be right with me. Instead nobody looked up from their computer once so I stood around waiting for an awkward amount of time. Right away, the worker was giving me all the info on their products. She asked if I used a body scrub beforehand, I said no because their email instructed me not to. She then proceeded to say that it's not good for a tan but they make one that's good. My entire experience was somewhat overwhelming. I know they're supposed to give us as much info as possible but it would've been nice to relax and not be bugged by a sales pitch. They're too salesy and can't imagine dealing with this every time I go in. I prefer a more personable experience. I recently had a fantastic experience at GoGlow in Edina! I wanted to have some color for a trip to Jamaica, and have never felt better about my skin on vacation. Customer Service: The entire team provided fantastic service from the moment I called them. This was my first spray tan of its kind, and being very pale, I needed some extra reassurance that it wouldn't leave me looking like Ross from Friends. They answered all my questions and provided some product recommendations for how to prep. The day of the tan, they walked me through everything step by step and provided instructions for how to take care of it. Within 30 minutes of leaving.. I messed up. It was raining, and my uncovered arm got some water droplets on it, leaving a few spots where I wasn't sure the tan would develop. I sent the team an email asking for some tips on how to minimize damage, and received an immediate call to come back in for a touch-up. I couldn't believe it - they saved my tan! The Tan: I am normally blindingly white. GoGlow mixes a solution that's unique to your skin, and they used the lightest shade on my skin. They warned me it would seem too dark up until I wash off the bronzer 24 hours later, and they were right. What was left was a beautiful light bronze color that yielded many compliments. I wasn't going to risk that again for my upcoming engagement photos. Nope, this time I was going to have a professional do it, and my bridal shop referred me to goGLOW. I went to the new location on 50th and France because it's closest to me. It is pristine and reminded me of SoulCycle with the bright colors and intoxicatingly scented candles and not an Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Spirit Cycle episode weird kind of way. I'd been so distracted by the excitement of "I'm going to be a tan goddess!" that I'd totally blacked out what having an actual person spray tan you entails. My stomach did a little flip as I shyly eyed the complete stranger who I'd be exposing my lady bits to. All of them. She warmly introduced herself, making easy conversation as we made our way to the spray tan room. Still, as I undressed and put on the silly hair net and disposable thong, I couldn't help but feel self-conscious. And chilly. I mean, my gyno and fiancé are the only ones in my squad who get to see me that up close and personal. This isn't a Taylor Swift roadshow. She came in and walked me through everything, professional as could be, and my nerves quickly melted away as she sprayed away, directing me into various stances and angles.
