I came out of the restroom at 2:37 and was told I'd have to reschedule my appointment because I was seven minutes late. There was nobody standing around , no customers and I was going to have to come back in 45 minutes!! As I was leaving, I told the receptionist that I was not happy and she laughed at me , so I will not be going back there instead I will go to a different location where they do not laugh at their customers and aren't rude !!!

She was very friendly and seemed to know what she was doing. I had full facial waxing. I knew something was not quite right when I felt stings on the corner of my eyes and the right side of my cheek. When I got home and looked closely in the mirror I saw that I had several red abrasion. Not sure if it was because the wax was too hot and burned my skin or if my skin was ripped. So I had a bit of scabbing on my face for a few days which reduced my enthusiasm for returning for future waxing here. I'm not sure what went wrong and this is not my first facial waxing. It's really too bad because I like the location and the staff.

I found all of that at this place. You can make an appointment but it's essentially walk-in, first come, first serve. There must have been a half dozen ladies and a gentleman that were on staff. It was 4p on a Thursday and I got there 15 minutes before my 4p appointment. They never checked the book or ask for my name so having an appointment doesn't make any difference. Lee was very nice and professional. An older lady with a good sense of humor. She really laughed at me laughing as she scrubbed the bottom of may feet, she said "everybody laughs at that part". I was happy to pay $32 bucks for the basic pedicure. You get the cut, the clip, and all the feel & smell good solutions and then the abrasive scrub on your foot bottoms and then...a nice calf massage for happy ending. I will certainly be going back, but I won't be making an appointment next time if I'm going during the week. There is plenty of free parking in the shared parking lot with the Neighborhood Walmart.

Each time, the stylist has been overbooked and so a ninety-minute appointment for color and cut took well beyond two hours. Once, they did the wrong color. We thought we could solve the late running appointments by getting the first one of they day. Nope. That plan went sideways today. They just called to tell us that the latest problem is that the stylist is sick. This for an appointment that was booked three months ago. I understand being sick and I'm glad he chose not to come to work. The issue is that the salon is so fully booked that they have no one else who can do this until at least 4pm today. And with what we've experienced before, that means at least three hours of hole in our afternoon when we had everything queued up for this morning appointment. I think at this point, it's time for me to help Mrs. K. find a new salon. Thankfully, we don't have some urgent party or event this evening where the color and cut were critical. I'm downgrading from four to three. They're fine for the products they sell, I'm no longer so sure about the services they offer. [Review 485 of 2026 - 4591 in North Carolina - 25667 overall]

Debbie Foxx cut my hair on January 30, 2024. She asked me to come in earlier than my planned…read moreappointment time which I was fine with but then didn't start my appointment until after my original appointment time. I could've came in for my normal time and she still would've been late so I'm not sure why she asked me to come in early. It wasn't a big deal though and I did like how she cut my hair. We discussed that once my gray hair grew in some that we would set up an appointment to let her see how my hair looked and to discuss options on how to color it to blend the gray in with my brunette hair. I normally do not let my gray grow out too far, but I did so that she could see how it grows in. I called and texted her several times and received no response back. After having my text and calls ignored, I thought maybe I had her number saved in my phone wrong so I verified it, but it was correct. Recently, I was at another establishment by the hair salon so I stopped in to see if she was there. I thought this might've just been some kind of misunderstanding and I could talk to her about cutting my hair. The young lady who helped me text Debbie while I was there and gave her my phone number and told her that I wanted to make an appointment for a haircut. Debbie told her that she would be in later that evening and would call me once she knew what she had available. That was 3 days ago and I still have not heard from her yet again. This isn't a normal salon where you can go in and get someone to help you. It seems like everyone is independent and if you don't know who they are, you don't know who to ask for. Both times that I have walked into the salon besides the day I had my appointment there seem to only be one or two people there working so I've never had the opportunity to speak with any other stylists there. I don't even think there is a number to the salon to even call to ask if someone else could cut my hair. I was only offered Debbie's personal cell number. I'm not sure if this is how she normally does business with clients but at this point, I guess I will just find another place to get my hair cut at. It's a shame that Debbie couldn't just tell me that she did not want to cut my hair. I'm assuming that's the reason why her communication is so poor.
