I like Palm beach tan but I was on the fence about keeping my membership. LINDSEY convinced me to stay and I'm so glad she did! She is so down to earth. She remembers everyone's names, tanning bed preferences and how long they tan for. She is a hard worker. She is always training new people and she is always working!! Alyssa the new "district manager" has the worst customer service skills I've ever seen! I asked her to call Lindsay to help because that was the third time I had been asked to update my debit card after fraud! With content and attitude, she told me she was a district manager and didn't need help from anybody! She is just RUDE I walked out and came to the Mission Viejo location where I know the customer service and competency is always stellar! Be aware that canceling a membership here is extremely difficult. My billing date is on the 7th, and I went in person on the 29th to cancel after being unable to use any services for several months due to a health scare. I was informed that I needed to come in by the 25th of the prior month to avoid being billed again, something that was never clearly communicated. When I had signed the contract, it was never presented to me, they had me sign a plastic pad with a signature line. The front desk employee was kind and suggested I contact customer service to request a waiver. Unfortunately, customer service showed no empathy or consideration for my situation and refused to waive the fee, even though I am unable to use their services. This experience made it clear that the company prioritizes rigid policies and billing over customer care. Very disappointing. read more

Palm Beach Tan has a difficult process to cancel your membership. Buyer beware, the front desk can't cancel your membership if even done in a timely fashion. Worst customer service ever!! I have been coming here for years. Everyone has always been so pleasant here all of the people that work here have been pleasant until today. When I came in, the girl at the front desk was already having problems with the computer, which I totally understand. Sometimes those things happen. I came in a couple weeks ago and had changed my card to a different credit card. They did not put the charge on the new card... not my fault. Then today treated me terribly and acted like it was my fault that they did not initiate the change to the new card. The district manager said her name is Alyssa had a terrible attitude and needs to learn about good customer service. She started reading me the riot act and telling me if my car didn't go through next month something something yada yada, etc. etc..... so ridiculous. Go spend your money somewhere else somewhere where people have good customer service.. it's really sad when places like this do that. I guess that's why it's turned over so many times here used to be at the beach. I came here when it was that and I've been coming here since it was Palm Beach and the turnover of employees is insane. Every time I come in it seems like there's new employees there there's only like one person that I've noticed has been here for more than a couple of months. I came in and canceled my account in May. I just realized I've been charged for months since then. I called and the first employee was very kind, but said she couldn't offer a refund, I needed to speak to the manager. She said she would have the manager call me. She never did. I finally called back and spoke to the manager, and she was horrible. She was condescending and ignorant the whole time. Zero percent helpful and honestly BEYOND rude. I came in and canceled. I'm still being charged. She wont issue a refund and actually said I'll still keep being charged until I come in AGAIN. read more

I agree with what some of the other customers have said about this place! I have had the same experience. There's always different girls working there., nothing is consistent, packages change, and then all of a sudden I'm supposed to pay to upgrade my account to have what I've already been getting previously. This does not make any sense and this place is run very poorly. Customer Service stinks as far as the manager goes.. I was paying $71 a month for my membership when I signed up, I was told I can use the red light therapy machine. I never used until recently. And, now that I'm using it, after two weeks of using, one of the front desk girls realizes that it's now, suddenly., not part of my package. So the way to fix it is by me upgrading my membership and paying a $25 service fee to upgrade it just to have what I had already been paying for previously. I'm so annoyed that a company can even be run this way! I was willing to upgrade and pay four or five dollars more a month, but I am highly offended that they're asking for a $25 upgrade fee. Do not tan here, you will be up charged left and right and center.... -'and any other way they can figure out how to screw you over. read more

This spot recently changed to Palm Beach Tan, still has most of the same beds, based on my recent visits. All new lotions that are very, very pricey. $199!, even with the discount and credits I had on my account. No red light therapy for awhile, new one is supposed to be in by mid-February. It's a better system with towels, and now goggles, already in the room. Tonight was the first time in awhile that my room was visibly cleaned. I always bring an extra towel and clean myself, just in case, BUT, I mean everything I looked at had been wiped down very recently. I appreciate that! read more

Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable of which products I should be using and which beds will give me the most color. I like the beds and the spray tan, they have 2 Versa machines at this location, and i love the option of double legs because sometimes my legs need that extra boost. THIS PLACE IS GARBAGE!!! Every since they switched to Palm Beach Tan, the customer service is HORRIBLE. The new people working there don't know any customer service skills. I have recently brought up some issues with Brittany (the district manager) and all she does is make excuses, tells me they are aware of the issues, or that they are working on this or that... but the thing is... it's been how long now?? It's been a while. So CLEARLY these "known" issues that people are complaining about aren't really that much of a priority to them. but again, that just boils down to the whole customer service that seems to be lacking. I regret that I bought a full year in advance at this point. I wish I could get my money back and tan somewhere else. And it seems like other people are saying the same thing. I know several people that tan at this location and no one seems to be happy with the way things are run. It's become the dump. The beds take forever to get new bulbs in, the music doesn't work, the spray tan nozzles have issues, the beds are never clean when you walk in (the girls are sitting there on their phones instead of being proactive about cleaning the beds right after they are used--so when a new custom walks in to tan, they usually have to wait for the bed to be cleaned. GET UP OFF YOUR ASS, GET OFF YOUR PHONE AND WORK! That's what you are paid to do! But management doesn't seems to care either. And then I see this Penelope girl on here and all she does is thank people for their feedback, apologizes, but nothing ever gets done. Don't waste your money by tanning here! Go somewhere else! (Oh, and the pics they have online for this location aren't even for this location! They have pics to some of their other salons! So shady! Poor business practices. The Palm Beach Tan located on Aspen in Broken Arrow Oklahoma is hands down the MOST unprofessional business I have ever had the absolute MISFORTUNE of dealing with!!! The employees are treated terribly by an uneducated, incompetent, unprofessional beings I have ever seen in any establishment that calls themselves a business. There is absolutely NO customer care services, through the location or corporate. At this location in particular the managers are like junior high girls, I am speaking first hand experience/knowledge they will talk about you as soon as you walk out to the point of actually making up complete fabrications. They will do this to the point of defamation and or slander, and corporate at the very least allows this. Corporate does not care and are no help at all.
