After reading all the negative reviews about Palm Beach RV, I had to write my review. While on our way to our campground in FL in 2023, we blew a back tire on our 5th wheel in the Carolinas, which damaged the whole side panel. In route to our South Miami campground, I googled for a Grand Design RV repair shop off of I-95 in the vicinity of where our campground is and found this location only about 15 minutes off I-95 in Palm Beach. We stopped there prior to getting to our campground to have them access the damage. The service we received was exceptional, with a complete analysis of the damage, the estimated cost of repair and the process of ordering the parts. When the parts were in, we took our 5th wheel back for the repair. No wait time once we arrived. On the way there, the brackets on the long drawer under the TV broke. We also found out, once at our campground, we had an issue with the auto leveling system, as when the tire blew it punched a hole in the underside of the RV which damaged the leveling wires. Keith, the manager said no worries, he would have his repair technicians fix the drawer and the leveling system, no extra cost and it would probably only take them about 15 minutes. Well the repair to the leveling system was a bigger job than originally anticipated and took close to an hour. We were charged $0 for them to do these additional repairs, and only had to pay for the drawer slide brackets, that thankfully were in stock! We were delighted with the quality of work performed and the outstanding service support we received from Keith and his crew. If we ever need repair done again on our way to FL, this is absolutely the place we will go to. read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. These guys had the audacity to try to charge me an extra $1500 to fix a relatively minor water leak (and related water damage) on an under-warranty Grand Design 3100RD that I hadn't even bought from them yet. That's right, they wanted me to pay to fix *their* rv for something they should have known about before we agreed to a price. Mike (sales) was unprofessional and lied to me constantly, claiming the leak was fixed when I had just returned from watching water dripping out the bottom. He seemed angry that I even asked to have it fixed at all. Keith (the GM) was of no help at all and only seemed concerned that he and his daddy (Larry, the owner) wouldn't make enough money off me. They claimed they had already thrown in $1500 worth of "extras" and that it would "hurt the bottom line." But in reality the "extras" consisted of a used hitch and some old hoses that I didn't even ask for. These guys give Grand Design a bad rep. This is not the kind of service I would expect from an authorized Grand Design dealer. read more

Yeah this place was good when you walk in wanting to look and walk out the same day with a brand new 2021 grand design Tt. 8 months into using it a few times. The door to our kids bedrooms fell off We fixed it bc it was too dangerous to keep off where our young kids can get hurt. The dinette broke, The shelf In the pantry broke. The fridge keeps freezing over. The service manager said that his techs don't want to pull it out to see why it's feezing Over. But this camper is only 10 months old. They will not fix it or even order a new one. Bc they can't figure out what is wrong again this is only 10 months old Bought it brand new from palm beach rv! We have had several problems. She stepped away to get details on one of the units and a sloppy looking, obnoxious man who stated that he could help us even though we said we were working with someone else and that we requested her. He said she is just a receptionist and he was sales. We once again said we had requested that she help us and he said he had to help us. Our experience as 1st time RV trailer buyers was wonderful. From the moment we met Will our salesguy at their RV show, we felt very comfortable and not pressured at all. He is super friendly and very knowledgable about each RV that we were looking at. Also the staff at Palm Beach RV were all so nice especially Jeremy from the service dept. I have had almost a full year of issues with Palm Beach RV. I purchased a brand new 2021 Salem travel trailer in the beginning of Oct 2020. The slide immediately stopped working upon bringing the trailer home. We called Palm Beach RV to tell them about the issue and try to get out of what seemed to be a lemon of a RV. We found out quickly that there is no protection for lemon RVs. The best they could do was have us bring it to them to repair. A mechanic was able to get the slide working good enough so that we could go on our planned trip and bring it straight back to Palm Beach RV after for them to complete a long term solution repair. The RV sat at Palm Beach RV for over a month with no repairs happening. My husband went to check out the progress of the trailer. While he was there and the mechanics were trying to put the slide in and out it dug into the flooring and ripped a hole in the flooring. We understand that accidents happen and were reassured they would replace the floor. The problem ended up being the next time we went in the guy in the service department kept correcting us saying that we caused the rip in the floor and it didn't happen at PB RV. It didn't matter either way, it was under warranty -- but the service guy kept saying it was actually our fault, basically calling us liars. In January 2021 we decided to bring the RV back to our house instead of 'storing' it at PB RV while they waited for a part to fix the slide. We scheduled to bring it back to them on April 27 2021 when they would be ready to repair it and have the part. April 27 rolls around and we call to make sure they are ready for the trailer. the service guy acted like he had no idea about our scheduled appointment. No one knew what was happening. He said to go ahead and bring it in. When we actually dropped it off one guy told my husband it would be a couple days to repair it. Another guy said a week. Long story short the trailer is still being 'worked on' now (Aug 2021). In May or June I spoke to the manufacturer who told me that PB RV had not yet ordered the part yet. So once again it was sitting there not being worked on. I have called Palm Beach RV multiple times over the summer. The service manager said that he got parts in but one was wrong or broken (I didn't get a clear explanation). Another time I called and was told they were waiting on a part and blamed Covid for the delay. I'm not denying that Covid is causing manufacturing delays but at the point it's just an easy excuse. I could really keep going on... but I think you get the idea. Palm Beach RV does not have our best interests in mind, they only care about fattening their pockets. They can be very rude and make it seem like your a nuisance. If I could, I would get out of the trailer. Let me ask you, would you want to buy a trailer that has a slide issue? The resale value is shot and we virtually have been paying for something that we haven't been able to use for almost a whole year. a side note about forest river the manufacturer - I called Forest River, the manufacturer multiple times during this ordeal. We were told that we could get reimbursed for all of the months we lost use of the trailer. That ended up not being true. They are going to help with two payments although the trailer has been out of use for 10 months. We were also told that this slide issue is a known malfunction of this type of slide. From initial contact by sales to delivery drive off today all facets were stress free and flawlessly performed by the staff at Palm Beach RV. We were tough customers from the complexity of the deal through the walkthrough and finally with pickup/delivery. We've had some recent and past horrible experiences at other dealerships and Van made sure everything went right from the onset. We had numerous lessons learned and Van took each one to heart and made us feel very comfortable with the dealership and process. Ashley did an amazing job with the business side of the deal. I bought a brand new 2023 grand design fifth wheel and on day of delivery it was missing the silver package thats supposed to come with . at the demo when the toilet was flushed , apparently the toilet was leaking and leaked on the converter which wasn't noticed til after delivery at 4 am when the alarm went off because the battery was never charging ..: also on the first day the bed fittings broke ... and for all the trouble we found unsealed tears under the rv ../ and the general manager hides behind the warranty and won't replace it ... if you're looking for a mobile home/ rv ... this isn't the place ... read more

Do NOT trust Palm Beach RV - Do NOT trust Keystone! My family and I just purchased our first ever RV from Palm Beach RV. A brand new Keystone Outback. It was not cheap. We thought we were paying for a quality product from a quality company. We were very wrong. Jaime was our sales person at Palm Beach RV where we purchased from. At first he was really nice and helpful. However, everything changed as soon as they got our money. We live in Orlando, but saw the unit we purchased at an RV show in West Palm. At the time of purchase, Palm Beach RV knew that we had no capacity to tow the RV ourselves. However, in order to hook us into buying, they offered "free delivery and set up" along with the purchase. We thought that was very nice. Turns out it was a predatory sales practice. Without the free delivery we never would have made this purchase. We would not even have been able to. Unfortunately, the RV that was delivered is defective. And by that I mean that it arrived without having a water tight seal on one of the doors. That's right, water gets in when it rains. Anyone who knows anything about RVs knows that you absolutely need to keep them dry. There are even numerous warning about water damage and mold in the owner's manual and on the Keystone website. The dealership and the Keystone company are very well aware of the need to keep their units dry. You would think they would show concern that they just delivered a brand new unit that was not sealed properly. Sadly, you would be mistaken. We contacted Jaime expressing the utmost concern immediately upon noticing the gap in the door seal, which was within two days of delivery. To say he couldn't care less would be an understatement. He didn't even have the time of day to say hello. I explained the problem, and all he said was "you need to hang up and call the other number," and directed me to the service department. He did not show any concern. He did do anything to help out. He just wiped his hands clean as soon as he got paid. When I spoke to the service department the only thing they could offer was to tell me to "bring it in." They said it was a warranty thing, and the "paperwork we signed says we have to bring it in" for service. They did not care that it was defective when it was dropped off just two days before. They knew we had no way to tow it ourselves, but they would not do anything to help. And there was no attempt to take responsibility for the faulty product they sold. With Palm Beach RV forsaking us completely, we turned to the manufacturer, Keystone, to stand by their product. Again, we were sadly let down. At first we just got told the same thing. That we need to "bring it in." They finally agreed to allow a mobile technician look at it, but it took weeks to find one. We finally got a written estimate from a Keystone approved mobile technician for warranty purposes, and now they are fighting to not replace the defective door, and they are saying the labor costs are too high and don't want to pay. Plus we already had to pay out of pocket just to have the technician come out. The nightmare just keeps continuing on. The unit is supposed to be brand new, why does it it need warranty service before it even arrives? Why is the dealership completely unwilling to do anything to help? Why won't won't Keystone do anything but give us a hard time? I wish I could say that one of the doors not sealing water tight was the only thing wrong with our unit. There are a whole variety of little things that don't work, or were not done quite right with the construction of this "brand new" Keystone. Nothing that would be so terrible on its own, but put together with the imminent threat of water damage, seriously add to the frustration of the situation. Do yourself a favor. Avoid the Keystone RV company. They will not make it easy to go through warranty should something go wrong. And stay away from Palm Beach RV. Definitely watch out for Jaime over there. He will smile to your face one minute and stab you in the back the next. You have been warned. read more

when you actually do need their service department after you bought a camper from them and They don't follow through and half a** the work, mess up your camper and promise that it will get fixed then next phone call is (because they have already gone through service managers that are no longer there) the owners son who is calling you names and doesn't want to finish what they have on THEIR work order that they wrote down that they would do. I would never deal with these people. We come from a long history of family camping and buying from multiple places and never would we use them again. Don't buy into the lifetime warranty and they are always there to help because they will treat you like trash. read more

Very very poor customer service. We went in looking to purchase and could not even get a customer service representative to look our way. There were plenty of them. Could count at lest 2 that were just sitting in their office. Others of lighter skin came in and reps came to their aide. We went around the yard giving ourselves our own tour. Ran across a rep who was with another client we asked him the pricing and he told us but never even asked if he could get someone to help us. Amazing service! I got a new roof and got a residential fridge installed in my 5th wheel. The sales rep was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. They even texted me photos of the work in progress. Purchased toy hauler three years ago have used it 4 weekends,couch is peeling fuel pump don't work. They canceled warranty because they could not fit us in they were too busy. strung me along for 4 months on warranty work that they're not covering. a lot of false promises that they don't follow through with. make sure you read the fine print on everything you sign. their lifetime warranty isn't what it's cracked up to be. Do not let them talk you into the protection spray Zylon that they spray all over everything that destroys it. Very unhappy they took the fun out of my camping oh forgot to say they were supposed to fix the fuel pump and because they didn't it caused our generator to catch on fire. If you have more than three things plugged then it pops circuit breaker. AC don't work. read more

Purchasing from them was a dream! However, Palm beach RV in West Palm has had our RV since Oct. 4 2018, it is now April 25, 2019 and I still don't have an answer on when it will be fixed. In the meantime, I purchased it from them with the ultimate warranty and I'm still paying close to $700 a month mortgage payments and not able to use it. I'm extremely frustrated. I had written a three page letter to complain about all of their services. But no one ever responded to me as far as who to send it to. They are a family-owned business. We bought our very first travel trailer from Palm Beach RV last year, and have been extremely pleased with them. We've had to bring our rig in for a couple of minor fixes, and they had the work done quickly. Then last week, we were about to head out for some state park camping, and noticed that our fridge was working on gas only, not electric. We called the service department, and they were able to get us in that morning. Juan found a bad GFI plug and swapped out out for us right in the parking lot. Trip saved! My family and I had the worst experience at this dealer ship . As we walked up the a lady the receptionist started laughing and she leaned over to a guy next to her and whisper something to him and he turned and looked at us and started laughing .So at this point I'm standing in front of her and it seemed to be the funniest thing what a BLACK FAMILY was in a RV sales Center . As she picked up the phone to get someone (sales person to help us )it was like the biggest joke not once where we asked durning our seach if we needed help or had questions or what we where looking for or can I assist you with anything...my family and I walked around for about an hour and 30 mins non of the trailers were on so no A/C and it was a little hot out day . As we continued to go from trailer to trailer we noticed that other people and assistants (sales person ) with them .We came in side to get out the heat and cool off and the same receptionist lended over to the same guy and they shared yet another laugh together. I also noticed and my grandkids noticed people walking in from the parking lot just get out of they're car and was offered water we walked aroung at lot in the sun for hour and 30 mins not one person approached us and asked if we needed help or did we see anything or if we had any questions.Maybe I left out that we are African american and joked and laughed at by your employees. read more

Went back to dealer to express my disappointment and was told due to the heat in south Florida this might happen. They offer no solution because the year warranty has expired. We just purchased a grand design transcend and we absolutely love it. There were some damages to the trailer (from the manufacturer) and Jeremy the service manager handled it in a very professional manner. They even fixed the smallest scratch for us. It did take them about six weeks but the majority of that was waiting for the material from grand design. Once it arrived they contacted us every step of the way and assured us it was going to be done when they said. Jeremy the service manager went over and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Just left the South Florida Fairgrounds RV Show and was told to go to their dealer location. Upon arrival to the Palm Beach RV dealer was told by the OWNER "Larry Waits" that the sales lot was closed because of the rv show but yet there were 2 salesman there available. The unit they had there we were ready to buy but we needed to see it inside. We told him we drove 1 hour to see it and he didn't care. He prefers to loose a sale because he chose not to be kind. What POOR customer service !!!! We will never buy from Palm RV !!!! Sadly because we were ready to buy! Luckily we found the same model at "CAMPING WORLD@ in Ft. Myers in which we will buy from. Not sure where you guys are shopping but I had my 2015 Sonic serviced at PBRV this past week, the service manager Jeremy was the best service manager I have ever dealt with, I'm not a young man, this is not my first rodeo, this guy ( Jeremy) was so on top of his game, I had to pinch my self to be sure it wasn't a dream, every single issue I had was dealt with in a professional timely manor, palm beach RV IS VERY LUCKY TO HAVE HIM, I know PBRV has had some issues in the past with there service managers, I'll telling you this, Give this new guy a chance, he will make you feel like you have an uncle in the business, I did not give a five star because nobody is perfect, they still have a very minor issues with there sales and finance department. read more

We are very happy with our used fifth wheel from Palm Beach RV. Tony was our salesperson and upon explaining our needs showed us the perfect RV. We purchased with very little hassle, had a great experience with our financing and walkthrough. Upon getting it home we had some initial issues which were troubling but we believe they did not know about the issues since you could not see them. Upon calling to find out what could be done they immediately offered to completely fix the issue. They followed through and have since been extremely helpful with anything we need in terms of service. We have brought it back a few times for service and everyone in that dept. is nice and helpful; doing what they say they will and submitting things to the warranty Dept. when appropriate.
