Trying NOW to sell it, see that we never received TITLE and that the TITLE is in former owners NAME with A LIEN ON IT! They won't answer our calls and referred us to their Chapter 7 attorney.... STEER CLEAR OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT and IF you have an RV on Consignment GO AND GET IT BEFORE THEY SELL IT OUT FROM UNDER YOUR FEET, you will never see a dime, check the reviews, this is NOT the first time they have done this. OWNER was arrested fOR NOT paying almost 500K in sales tax. Funny thing, is NO ONE seems to care that this business is STILL OPEN and operating . I don't know where we go from here. Gigi and crew, thank you guys so much for everything! My husband and I recently sold our condo and went full time RV life. Neither of us have ever lived in a travel trailer before and knew literally nothing about anything. Gigi, Ivan, and Jared helped us pick our perfect home. They made the entire process simple and worry-free. We had an inspector come out and he gave us a list of repairs which the crew here took care of right away. They have been our go-to for ANY AND ALL questions we've had over the last 3 months. How to flush our tanks, which truck to purchase, how to put a hitch on, how to tow our trailer. Literally every question we've had, they were knowledgeable and patient enough to answer for us. I don't know if they want this advertised, but Jared even gave us towing lessons. He is legit a prodigy when it comes to towing and we knew we were learning from the best. He has been so incredibly patient and encouraging. Christina and her crew are top notch. I brought my 2003 Pace Arrow 37A in for various repairs covering both mechanical and bodywork related items. I had called around to other RV repair places and either they could not accommodate some of the work or they simply did not respond at all. Christina gave a straightforward estimate both on the time to repair the rig and the costs associated with it. I was very pleased with the end result. Christina worked with me on all aspects of the experience. The facility is surprisingly clean. The staff is knowledgeable. They even cleaned the rig inside and out and filled all tires with air for no extra charge. I would enthusiastically recommend Planet RV to anyone who is looking for excellent quality service at a fair price. Nicely done, folks! We placed our Class A diesel pusher on consignment with them last summer. After a buyer was found and then dropped out. they found another buyer, but at a lower price. We agreed on a price, but Planet RV never paid. Multiple phone calls and emails not returned, really shady business. Last night a friend drove by the place and it's an empty field. They've refused to return calls. So we're getting law enforcement and our insurance company involved now--They've stolen my RV. read more

I am intentionally writing this review because after I had provided a deposit and a credit application and was all in the purchase of my RV. When I initially looked at a 2022 CHEROKEE Forest River I found defective power awning arms. I asked them to fix them before pick up and I ended up being approved, picking the trailer and the arms were not fixed yet. I spoke with them about it and not in the written contract; I took their word for it. I was pressed for time having to leave the lot I was in and rented the other 4hrs away. I was told they will be replacing both at their cost and if I leave before their arrival, they wood send the arms and hire, at their cost a technician to replace them. I decided to look at reviews. Then I got scared and anxious because those arms are expensive and time was ticking. I checked my tag transfer registration, title lean, and the service contract and tire insurance I purchased. At that time nothing had been done according to the places I researched, so I called them and spoke with Christine Hurst who I was not to polite to but reassured me they are submitting everything but it just takes a couple of weeks. My attorney told me they were right and just to be patient. Well both Christine and the attorney were correct. The arms arrived and were replace the following week at my location at no cost to me, The title lean was release and now in my name and the following week I received my new tag decal for an additional year to expire. I feel bad about my tone when I first spoke to her but the old reviews were alarming. I have to say I experienced the total opposite. I do not know what their situation was in the past but what ever problems they had before, if they did, remember there are always two sides of the story, were resolved. I found the prices to be fair, my trade in was fairly evaluated and priced, did not find any tricks or charges like in car dealers in the contract (All straight forward) and their service impeccable. I also had a great experience with Ivan Smith. He is very informative and knowledgeable about these trailers and will go the extra mile to get you approved. We went through hell with the continuous request for paperwork but he stuck it till the end. I also left my truck with him to get a distribution hitch installed. I had a hitch on with no key. My hitch was tricky because it has a mechanism that will self-locked itself if tamper with, which I learned from Ivan. Ivan himself and a Tech worked on removing my hitch an entire day. I know this because I was in the area and every time I came to see how they were doing, Ivan was sweating over it, on the phone with dealers and manufacture. When I got my contract I noticed I was not charged even a penny! for labor. They are all very honest, caring and helping people. They sure want your experience to be one of a kind. My advice to you is to be patient. Stay on top of things but understand you need to give them at least 2 weeks (working week days) before you inquire about your service contracts, registration, etc. They file them probably the next day, but once it's received at the other end it takes 7-10 days to be processed just like anything else. If I buy another RV or want to trade this one ever I will definitely return to Planet RV! And I will definitely recommend that if you are shopping for an RV, Travel trailers, etc. to visit Planet RV on Griffin Rd in Dania Beach first. read more

We have an A/C unit on top of the camper that broke down with three weeks left on the warranty, We talked to these folks and they won't repair it under warranty because they will only get paid half of what they would normally charge. STAY AWAY!! Planet RV does NOT honor their contract. We had our RV in their rental program and they did not take care of it at all. When we complained, they made us take it back with over $11k in damages. The air was broken. The tires needed replacement. They did not change the oil for over a year and 30k miles among just a few issues. The list goes on. They rented our RV to someone when the air was broken. Do not rent an RV or put your RV in their rental program. You will regret it. read more

We bought a 96 Class A from these folks and were in a bit of a hurry to get on the road. We told Ivan (salesman) of our plans and that we needed to complete sale and vehicle registration within a few days. No problem... We were charged a $500 PDI (pre-delivery inspection) on the RV systems only. They would not let us take the coach to a mechanic and said that their mechanic, Kevin, could check over the Chassis for us. Although not ideal, we agreed. Kevin was great and had a super attitude and although he has mechanical background in his family, he did admit that he was a carpenter not a mechanic. We were informed that the front brake calipers we're sticking so we had them replace them. Unfortunately, we found out down the road that the job wasn't done properly - the caliper pins were not cleaned and lubricated during the install so the new calipers were sticking and caused overheating of the front discs and VERY poor mileage. We asked for a new step to be installed and were grossly overcharged for a pretty bush-league installation. Christina told me a story about how they spent a day and a half on the install and had to buy a box of 300 bolts just to get 2 bolts required for the job. Ridiculous! I can but these bolts at just about any hardware store, individually. If you're going to lie at least make it believable. It may well have taken Kevin a day and a half to complete the install...between everything else he was working on at the shop. We left Planet RV and drove 15 minutes before the engine quit in a left turn lane. I called Ivan and he suggested pushing the boost button to use the "house" batteries to restart the engine and keep it running. I had to hold the button on the dash to keep the engine running all the way back to Planet RV. Turns out the alternator wasn't charging the battery. Interesting, as every time I came to check on progress of the brake and step work, a charger was hooked up to the coach. I believe they knew the battery and charging system were a problem. The owner, Gigi, said that these things happen and that we bought it as-is and she wouldn't be paying for a new alternator. It was too late in the day to get a new one so we had to park out on the road across the street and set out our emergency markers as it was on a road next to a truck stop. Gigi would not let us stay the night with our broken down coach in the lot. The carpet around the toilet was soaking wet after just a day of travel and after some investigating, we found 3 different leaks. One at the water connection, one at the add-on bidet, and worst of all.... One at the toilet base gasket. When I removed the toilet from the base, the gasket was hanging into the sewer pipe so we were not only cleaning the surrounding carpet of our own wastewater but the previous owners crap-water too! So much for the $500 PDI. The turn signal switch assembly broke a day or two later. Ok not their fault. The transmission quit a few days later. Ok not their fault. The levelling jack system dump-valve quite a few days later. Ok again, not their fault. All in all, the communication problems between Gigi, Christina, Ivan caused some delays in us getting our registration done in the time we needed. The lies and overcharging, improper brake caliper install, the crappy step install, and trying to hide the battery / alternator issue... and especially being charged for an RV PDI which should have discovered the 3 toilet leaks... All of which should be grounds for a court case, however... Live and learn. I would recommend avoiding Planet RV. Gigi and Christina are liars. read more

My mom rented an RV from Planet RV in Davie over the 4th of July holiday (unit 138). Unfortunately, the RV was not the one she inspected and reserved initially. It was old and worn. The TV/antenna didn't work. The shelves in the refrigerator we're broke. There was no awning. The sewer was missing the attachments. The gas gauge didn't work and they tried to charge her extra when they returned the RV. She complained when they returned the RV, and their rep said they would "check it out". So far, no further contact has been made. When you spend that kind of money, you want to have everything working and in good order. She will never rent from them again. 7/17/2017: Update to my previous comments: my mom called again today to inquire about her refund and the same representative (Jennifer) told her that they are now charging her $70 for the 8 gallons of gas (remember the tank/gauges are broken so they couldn't tell how much gas was in the tank) and the price is 3 x's the normal amount... Can we say highway robbery???? My mom has tried on numerous occasions to speak to the manager/owner but has not been able to get a return phone call. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! read more

it is a shame that i have to write this review. i was treated great at the time of the rental and also had a great time with the vehicle. the staff was great and my experience was great as well, but after 24 days i still have not received my refund on a $1,200 deposit i was asked to place when i took the RV. they keep giving excuses and stories... i am now caling my credit card company to place a charge back on that transaction. RV Planet did several maintenance services and repairs on my 16' travel trailer. Wheel Bearing repacks, roof/side reseal and replaced inverter/converter. They scheduled me to drop off my camper and were timely in getting the work complete. When the inverter/converter failed soon after the replacement, they were very good about handling the manufacturer's warranty and completing the labor at no additional charge. Good communication throughout. I will go back to them in the future. read more

I recently had body work that was needed for my class A RV that was damaged when I back up....I first did quite a few requests on line to see time frames etc....I was impressed that I received a reply to my email late that same evening....I brought the RV down and the quality of work was first rate....Gary ( body shop gentleman) treated my coach like his own...very proud of the work he did and did little extras that made such a difference in today's world....by the way....always received texts of the progress along the way.....I can not say enough about the Team here and the pride in their work....to add....it was ready when promised....totally washed.....and they even had the coach a/ c running when I got there.....keep up the good work!!!! read more

I would like to share with you my HORRIBLE experience renting an RV motor home with RV Broward company, in order to prevent other people from suffering so much like me. Last March I rented a class C RV motor home. I had some issues, but Mr. Iunu, who works for RV Broward, gave me a good customer service. This is why I rented again with them, a class A RV for the week of June 6th, to visit Fort Wilderness Camping in Orlando with my wife and two of our grandkids. We wanted a five star RV, which costs about $3,500.00 a week. As soon as we got to the camping, we realized that from the three AC units that the RV has, only one was actually working. This is when the calls and texts started, mainly with Christina Hurst, Manager of the company. This woman is a complete liar! She told us that she had requested Road Assistance for us. We waited for three days. Those days, we couldn't go to the parks with the kids. At first, they were telling me that it was probably a problem with the electricity of the camping. I ended up calling Road Assistance myself, and they recommended a company, Accurate Mobile RV Service, that could come a take a look. The gentleman that came could not believe the bad shape of the RV and its lack of maintenance. I asked him to talk to Christina directly, who after resisting a lot, authorized the repair of the AC units that weren't working. At this point, three out of the seven days had already past. When the person from Accurate Mobile RV Service tried to repair the AC units, he realized that the damaged was so bad, the only way of repairing them was replacing the AC units for new ones. After he said that, we could never reach Christina again. She completely disappeared. Of corsé i hace the test with Christina and algo the report of tris company as well pictures. The RV had other problems. However, in comparison with the 90 degrees inside the RV and how much we were sweating, they seemed minor: - In the living room area, there were two sofas that converted into beds. One of them was so old it couldn't be used. The other one was broken, so they put an inflatable mattress in its place, that needed to be inflated every night, and deflated every morning. - Satellite TV did not work. - Other TV that is used to watch when we were outside, did not work either. - Icemaker machine from fridge did not work. - Water dispenser from fridge did not work. - Black out in most of the curtains did not work. - Toilet was broken, with no water at all. So we had to clean it every time it was used. - All doors from exterior deposits to put luggage and other things, did not work properly, and could be closed ONLY when closing them really hardly. - The carpet in the back room was disgustingly filthy and smelled like pee. - When closing the extensions to come back from the trip, there was so much water coming inside that it was scary. There is no way that anyone could think that this is a five star RV! Apart from that, I had rented a class A RV #180, and three days before picking it up, they told me that it was broken, but I was going to get a better and bigger one instead, #154. I went to pick it up, and was forced to pay $340.00 for insurance. When I asked about this payment, they told me that in RV #180 insurance was included in the contract, but in #154 it wasn't. At that point, my grandkids were already waiting for me, so I had to pay and couldn't do anything else about it. If this company doesn't change its manager, it won't be able to keep its clients, and without clients, companies are gone. read more

I wish I had read all these other reviews before even thinking about doing business with these scam artists. BEWARE and STAY CLEAR of doing any kind of business with this group as they seem to promote on many different name and have criminals (literally as I did a search on my sales rep and two arrest records came up dated within the past 8 months). they contacted me saying I had won a 3day/2 night RV experience from a contest they ran at the Night Owl Market Street Festival. When I met with my Sales Rep he said if I wanted a larger unit, I could get that for one night FREE or add a second night for the $550 rental fee. IN addition I would need to pay a prep fee of $138 and possibly an extra insurance charge of $30-50 if my insurance company didn't provide coverage. AND he put all this in writing. A day later when I went to confirm what we wanted and when, I was told Brennan was no longer with the company (they hinted he had been fired but would still be responding to customer emails (ya sure, who does that after they've been fired. I think they did this so they could now more easily change the terms of my 'prize/win') Now all of a sudden, I had to deposit $1200 which would not be refunded until 15 days after the rental was returned, I could not get my prize for one day as I had been told, they offered to 'give' me the one day in a larger unit if I PAID FOR TWO (ridiculous!), etc. I can't begin to explain how dishonest this company is and they operate out of a junk yard which should have been the only clue I needed. Seriously, these people are scam artists! Regardless, I am turning this over to the appropriate agencies (State Attorney's Office, etc) and sending the emails/documents, etc to an attorney because there are laws about running contests, there are business practices for deposits and insurance, there are laws about bait and switch promotions, and there are class actions which I believe we have here. I've been going to the service department of RV Sales of Broward for 10 years. I own a mobile dog grooming business and they have serviced my generator regularly. I've always had a great experience there. I have bought from them and they have installed a generator and I am going on my second A/C unit that I also bought from them. The installation is a breeze. Always a great experience. They are efficient and get me in and out quickly. I can't be delayed as I work by appts. Shoddy workmanship, low paid employees using sub standard equipment, and many of the positive reviews on this site and others were written by the employees. The owner, Gigi Stetler, is more interested in self promotion and her ongoing legal actions against Camping World. Her manner of doing business is to lure people in and then get as much as she can for as little as she can. She has cheated more than a few contractors out of money she had agreed to, and her reaction is "sue me". She will be certain to tell you that she represents herself in court, seeking to scare anyone into legal action against her. One instance is where she signed a contract with a local professional, the work was delivered on time and to her specifications, and she refused to pay not only the monthly fee but also the penalty fee she agreed to with her signature. What she failed to note is that the business she represented in the signature is not licensed in the State of Florida. She then walked away from more than $10,000 she legally owed the contractor and agreed to pay. She also likes to position herself as a charitable benefactor, when in essence it's a dodge. She once sought to create a membership only part of her business that would quietly be non-profit, something the IRS would have loved to hear. She will seek to hoodwink anyone who walks in her doors. FIND SOMEONE ELSE to do business with. Stetler is just another millionaire owner who couldn't care less about the consumer. All she wants is your money and her picture on another website. read more

I understand, based on their business practices, why these people at Planet RV LLC formally Broward RV Inc are not accredited by the BBB but how is it they are allowed to have a business license in the state of Florida? Last fall I consigned my RV for sale with them. It had not sold so last month gave them the 10 day notice required to cancel the consignment contract so I could take back my coach. They have refused to return it to me. They claim they have an offer to purchase and a deposit on it so my 10 notice is "no good". The supposed "sale" has not gone to settlement and it has been over 7 weeks since first notified of the offer (July 3rd). In order for it to go to settlement they are requiring ME to pay off my existing loan and bring them the title which I would be a damn fool to do. When I asked the owner, GI GI Stetler, what happens if it doesn't settle? Her exact words were "then they'll be another offer". Also AFTER notifying them I wanted my coach back they were making vague comments about supposed "repairs" done by them. I have received NO notice of needed repairs by them and have authorized NO repairs by them. My Rv is a 2012 with less than 10,000 miles, Before placing it on consignment anything needing repair was professionally done. If it needed any repair I would arrange to have it done by someone I trust. Before doing business of any kind with above company I suggest you read all reviews of them on the internet. They read like a horror story and the state of Florida still allows them to stay in open? WOW!
