AS MANY NEGATIVE STARS AS POSSIBLE. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER. I took my motor home in after having a major blow out on the rear right tire, they estimated it would take one month to do the work, (would not work on motorhome unless insurance paid them up front the entire amount), it actually took close to three months. They don't keep you updated as to what they are doing, they don't return calls. they said they could actually match the paint on the motorhome, which they did a lousy job at, the original paint on the back of the motorhome, which they did not even touch, was left rough, as though they painted it outdoors. They worked on the electrical, they won't tell you the qualifications/licensing of the person working on your motor coach to make sure they are qualified to do electrical, they rewired/fixed the wiring and now the radio which had nothing wrong with it does not work, the backup camera, which had nothing wrong with it now flickers on and off when you press the break and it flashes on and off when you turn the blinker on. The mud guards which they replaced are of very low and cheap quality, the density is no where near the original ones they replaced. They removed and replaced the power converter, however the original was a 60 amp and they replaced it with a 55 amp one - not even the one the motor coach takes. When you ask them about the low quality parts and work they performed Christina answers that the coach is obsolete because it is 10 years old. It is very well maintained and looks brand new, only one owner, but then again, they don't address their substandard work, they attack you as if you are the problem not them. Before leaving their establishment Christina was made well aware of everything that was wrong and that we couldn't even put the coach in drive for some reason, but her main concern was just getting us off their property. HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I guess they think if they ignore the customers with complaints they will go away -- guess again. If you leave your motor coach or travel trailer at Planet RV for service unfortunately Legal Action against them is the only way to have them live up to their contractual obligations. read more

I/We want to say !!!THANK YOU!!! from the bottom of very overwhelmed hearts. We, my daughter and I, are new to full time RV living. Getting moved out of my 'stick house' to the RV, then attempting to move to Salt Lake City for work has been stressful for starters. We evacuated in the RV, which was fun, ahead of hurricane Irma in our newly purchased RV. On our return to Florida we experienced a tire blow out. The blow out tore out a storage bin and the floor of the RV above it. We were on a deadline to get to SLC so when the insurance adjuster said "it could take 3 months for repairs", I nearly had a heart attack, and my the stress level went through the roof. Gigi, Ivan, Jen, Katie and Gary are spectacular! EVERYONE at Planet RV has been wonderful. They have assisted me with EVERYthing; from navigating the insurance world of woes, to a place to live, to getting the repairs done in record time-- NOT the predicted 3 months--about 2 weeks, the first of a total three weeks was waiting for insurance people. I'm a kinda pain-in-the-ass kinda client. Thanks to caller ID and my frequent calls, when they see my number they answer "Hello Jamie, how are you today?". My sincere thanks to GiGi, Christina and the entire crew at RV Sales of Broward. After a 6,000 mile journey, I brought my Gulfstream Ultra class C motor home in for collision work resulting from a sideswipe accident and a rear tire blowout on the following day. The motorhome definitely won the sideswipe accident with a car, but there was quite a bit of damage nonetheless. The blowout did considerably more damage to the steel framework in and fore and aft of the rear wheel well, the sheet metal in the wheel well, the gasoline filler tube, mud flap, etc. I took the vehicle to RV Sales of Broward for the body work, steel work, and some general maintenance items including the generator which decided to quit on the final days of the journey. All the work was done to my satisfaction and the part I liked the best is that I dropped off the vehicle and I was done. The folks at RV Sales of Broward dealt with the insurance and coordinated all the work. I was free to take a vacation from my vacation. When I picked up the RV it was clean ( I brought it in with six weeks worth of high speed insect impacts all over anything facing forward). Thanks again to GiGi and Christina. OUTSTANDING THROUGH AND THROUGH! We rented the modern and clean Fleetwood RV Revolution 42N for a camping music festival and it was beyond excellent. It drives perfectly, it's luxurious, it's spacious...everything you would want to be comfortable wherever you go. On top of that the entire staff is supremely nice. From Cristina, to Jennifer, to the owner Gigi...they really took every step to ensure that the RV was perfect and that we knew how to use everything. They even lent a some extra things we needed for a trip. Finally, when we were pumping gas half a mile away about to return the unit, I damaged it badly in the gas station because I didnt take a good angle. For that I am extremely apologetic to Planet RV and Gigi the owner for messing up your beautiful vehicle and making you incur downtime. I hope that you get it back up and running soon. In spite of this, Gigi was a great sport and appreciative that I owned up to the accident and compensated her for it within the scope of insurance/deposit. Thanks Planet RV! What can I say... Planet RV was simply the best RV service in Ft. Lauderdale! My husband is working here for a year. I came down for the month of July and our 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren came for a week. During that week, which was the hottest week on record our air condition broke. Greg, one of the mechanics came over on the 4th of July holiday and diagnosed that the air condition needed a new compression. Greg was very knowledgeable, respectful, and helpful. He got us in touch with Christina, the person who takes care of ordering parts and the insurance companies. Christina went above and beyond in communicating to us and the insurance company. I took my Fifth-Wheel into RV of Broward for repairs and I have to say, it was a delightful experience. The staff was very courteous and professional and worked with us to get everything fixed as quickly as possible. The Service Manager, Christina, kept us up-to-date on what was being repaired and worked diligently with our Fifth-Wheel's manufacturer (Heartland) to assure everything was taken care of; we dropped it off, got the estimate, put her in contact with Heartland, and picked our unit up when the work was completed-- hassle free! The prices were reasonable, the service was outstanding, and the quality of the work was impressive. I had a wonderful experience getting my RV serviced. I brought my RV in and as promised in under 6 days, the RV was diagnosed, the parts were ordered, and properly installed. And as they promised me, I was able to use my RV the following weekend. The communication was great! They kept me updated every other day. Also I would like to mention, that before I purchased this motor home, we used their RV Rental service. This was another great experience as Christina who manages that department always makes sure that the rental RV's are clean and everything is in working order. I have been going to Planet RV since it opened last year. Southeast Florida is a hard place to find a competent, or any at all, RV service center and Planet RV has fit that bill. I have had my RV for 4 years now, live in Hollywood, and to find a local dealer that is quick on repairs is a great, great welcome. My dealings with the crew and Christina has been great and I've been glad to have them give me service. Christina will call me with every detail that they are working on and their timeline. Most mainline RV service centers far from Ft. Lauderdale are booked months out and Planet RV has never turned me away for the same day or immediate service. I wanted to come back and write a review for my service with Broward RV. I am new to the RV life, I purchased a 2012 26' Grey Wolf Travel Trailer. I took it to Broward RV for maintenance. Aside from the great customer service and satisfaction, Broward RV showed my how to keep up with the simple maintenance that I can do myself to keep the great condition of the trailer and to prevent any damage. Being my first official maintenance and a little overdue they advised me what should be fixed and what was priority. I must say I couldn't be happier with the customer service. My 2014 Forrest River 25ds was tripping the A/C breaker. On Monday morning (8/24/15), I drove 124 miles to LaMesa RV just to have them say they couldn't do anything for me, because they were too backed up. I called Broward RV and spoke with Christina. She told me to bring it in and they would get started on it right away. I had a prepaid week's vacation at the Keys for next Monday (8/31/15). I dropped it off around noon and all I can say is they deliver on every promise. They diagnosed the problem, spoke with the the A/C manufacturer, and had it completed by FRIDAY.. I would give 0 stars if the option was given - Gigi is a SCAM artist. Their worksmanship is horrible and they don't take responsibility for their work. I think they even had an unlicensed person working on the electrical of my motorhome which has never been the same since they took our money and did not want to fix it back to its original state. I have had a contract with Planet RV for about 10 years. Gigi and Christina have always been available when needed and our RV has always been maintained in pristine condition. They have certainly honored our contract and the RV has been readily available to us when requested. The pick up and drop off has been expeditious with no hassle.
