A good friend referred us to Great Time RV, telling us many wonderful things he had experienced over the years with them. We first met Bob and Jim at a local RV show. They had a travel trailer that was perfect for what we were looking for as a long-term living option while distance commuting for work, and at a great value. The closing process was a breeze. The walk thru was scheduled for two hours, but Jim realized we needed more time, and very graciously accommodated our needs. Because the trailer was too heavy for my truck to pull, Bob offered to deliver it to the campground I selected, which is three hours away! He received very high praise from others on his AMAZING parking skills. I cannot sing their praises enough. I was referred to Great Time RVs by a friend, and boy, they did not disappoint. They have superseded my expectations behind measure, from the first time I went to look at their lot. I was not actively looking to buy, and there was literally zero pressure, which felt amazing. But seven days later I changed my mind and was the proud owner of my first RV. They taught me EVERYTHING. Two hour sessions easily turned into four, and they were always patient, not only teaching me all about my new RV and hitch, but showing and practicing with me how to drive it. My first trip I had a major confusion with my hitch, and even late on a Sunday they answered the phone, and when one had to go, the other called me back, and when it was all fixed, both of them checked up on me I took a job as a travel nurse, drove all the way to California, and they were answering questions every step of the way, time difference and all. We just bought a KZ-Escape and LOVE it! Also, we really appreciate the attention to detail and helpfulness of everyone at Great Time. As far as the camper, we chose the KZ partly because of allergies... other campers caused reactions just viewing them, but we are happy to report we took our maiden voyage and NO reactions at all. My husband and I just purchased our very first RV (a KZ Connect) from Great Time RV's and had a wonderful experience doing so, thanks to Jim and Bob and everyone there! There were no high pressure sales tactics. I have never been camping or RV-ing in my life, so I had a lot of questions. A lot. And they answered all of them with courtesy and patience. On the day we picked up the RV, Susan thoroughly explained all of the paperwork that we were signing. Jim walked us through every feature of the RV inside and out, ensuring we were comfortable operating everything from the slide-out, the awning, the appliances, the TV and entertainment systems, plumbing, electrical power, propane tanks and on and on. Their technician expertly outfitted our truck with everything we needed to safely tow the RV. Then Bob took us on a test drive with the RV hooked up to our truck, demonstrating the technique when turning, backing up, braking etc. We've never towed anything of this size previously. Then my husband got in the driver's seat and drove, making the same turns with ease. We'd previously visited a few large RV dealerships in the Ft. Myers area. As a Consumer Reporter I am VERY particular and careful about who I do business with. I will begin by simply saying, if you don't do business with Bob Clarke, you are doing yourself a disservice. Bob and his staff are, by far, some of the best and most knowledgeable people I have ever worked with. Bob is a walking encyclopedia.... anything you want or need to know... What I liked most, he doesn't have you sign papers and say bye-bye. He takes the time to educate you on your unit, inside and out. He spent two hours with me before I drove off. While other RV dealers simply wanted to sell me the biggest and most expensive, Bob refused to sell me something I couldn't pull with my vehicle. The price Bob gave us for our K-Z Sportsmen beat the competition by thousands. My brother was so impressed with my Sportsmen and price he bought the same one from Bob two weeks after I did. We were in the market for an RV trailer to use with our new F-150 King Ranch. Our first stop was at a large dealership near Port St. Lucie where we were under whelmed by the sales tactics and ever changing prices. Had even considered going to Tampa to compare the trailers. Fortunately, a church friend told us about Great Time RV. The initial phone call set the positive tone of the entire dealership which only got better when I met with Jim and his vast knowledge of the KZ workmanship and their products. He did not try to over sell a larger unit that my new truck could not handle safely, unlike the other dealership. Along with no rush to sign a sales form, like the other dealership. Jim was most helpful in every way taking plenty of time showing me the Connect C241RLK and pointing out the craftsmanship and features that makes it such an exceptional unit. The return visit my girlfriend joined me, Jim again took his time in pointing out and explaining everything. Each visit we met various members of the family run business that's been going since 1972, that should be reason enough to buy from them. Everyone is pleasant and their knowledge is unbeatable. It gets better as any new trailer comes with a 5 year warranty and yearly check ups with preventive maintenance. To top it off the price is very reasonable.
