BEWARE! If it was possible to give NEGATIVE STARS that would be Copely's Rating! My husband and I decided to rent a travel trailer from Copleys rental division. We were traveling to Michigan to a remote area for our first vacation in two years and very excited. I worked with Justin and explained our destination and stressed the importance that all amenities needed to be functional due to our remote location. I was assured everything was inspected and functional and cleaned prior to each rental and would have propane in tanks. When we arrived at our destination and had our full camp set up we found all the issues with the camper. Both grey and black tanks were left full by Copley's, we traveled 1500 miles with full tanks. We had to tear camp down to take camper to dump facility and dump other people's waste. Then couldn't use the toilet because it was clogged. Awning would not open. Heater did not work and we had cold weather. We checked propane tanks to be sure that wasn't the issue and found one empty tank and the other almost empty, had to leave camp again to have them filled (they were suppose to be full), rechecked heater and it still wouldn't work. Shower doors were broke and couldn't use. We left camp again to travel to hardware store and purchase fuses. We checked the camper fuse's, the heater and awning still did not work. We had to clean the entire camper because it was filthy. We wasted an entire day of our vacation dealing with the amenities we were promised worked prior to paying for our rental. During our trip I left two messages with no response, had to call a third time before I spoke to Justin about the issues, he only responded with excuses! On our return trip we had two destination stops and planned to use the camper for those stops and couldn't due to the amenities not working. We had to pay for two hotel stays instead. When the camper was returned my husband discussed all the issues with someone in the office and was assured we would receive a call to discuss them. We had to make contact with Copley's and leave three messages before Brian returned our call. We were requested to fill out a reimbursement document. We filled out the document and emailed it back with no response. Had to personally follow up and was told the email was not received. To avoid any further issues we attempted to hand deliver the documents and Brian would not see us, used the excuse he was busy and to leave them with the office staff. As of today we are still waiting to received our deposit reimbursement and waiting to find out how Copley's will handle our wasted vacation time spent trying to fix the problems with the camper and the additional money spent during our trip. If you read this entire review I would stress you find another company to do business with wether you're buying or renting. read more

This company has the worst customer service I've EVER seen. Once they sell you the RV they want nothing to do with you. I purchased a brand new 2018 Holiday Rambler two weeks later the slide broke after buying an extended warranty and all they still would not help me out. Finally I dropped off the RV a week later they called me and they said they can not fix it but yet could not refer me to anyone else who could. I contacted Brian and Michelle the owners of Copley's RV,they were not helpful either I am still waiting for Michelle to call me back with an authorized dealer that can fix my brand new RV that I purchased from their location. They really don't care to help out the customer who just spent over $80k to buy an RV. Not to mention their location is an hour and a half away from my home so gas and time doesn't mean anything to them either. DO NOT PURCHASE AN RV FROM COPLEY'S RV .... you will be on your own as soon as you drive off the lot. read more

HORRIBLE. I went in to purchase a travel trailer cash. Gave my deposit and then was given the run around for 3 weeks because Copleys didn't hold the title. Absolutely horrible to deal with. I had to follow up constantly. The Owners were rude and didn't take any responsibility. I paid to reserve a space at RV park now I'm out $641 and Michelle says that's my fault and hung up on me. read more

January 8th, 2015, I purchased a new Surveyor 32 travel trailer. I had shopped the price and their price was very competitive. The entire process was handled in an extremely professional manner. There was one issue that came up and it was instantly resolved to my complete satisfaction by Mr. Copley the owner. When it came to the orientation and final preparation the Service manager Paul Cole and two members of the service team, ( Phil Carrico and Shawn Newland ) all exceeded my expectations in there attention to detail. We recently rented a 30 ft motor home from Copley's RV for a 10 day vacation and had a very good experience. The RV was in very good shape, all major systems worked well, and their help couldn't have been better. For example, we were concerned about plugging in the RV to our house for the first night and they walked us through it and gave us the proper adapters. We have spoken to neighbors who recommend Copley's for repair as well. They are good people to do business with. read more

You know what, MIke S. ? Did you bother to ask if they price match? I have asked based on knowledge that the internet sites do exist but I prefer to spend my money local and support local merchants. They have been able for me to match or closely match the pricing I have found on the internet. Next time, do not be afraid to ask. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. I am very glad to see that a local merchant can meet or beat most pricing that the big box stores and internet sites can offer. read more

Very poor ethics and completey screwed me over. Made deal for a camper, had contracts made up and was told that deal was good. Left from Tennessee the next morning to head down, got 5 hours into the 13 hour trip and the woman called and told me the owner knew i was on my way but sold the unit to a friend instead. They knew that I paid deposit for campground, power and was told that the deal was done. The owner was a coward and would not call me back and was told that this was just business. Would not recommend this company to my worse enemy. I have never been done like this and hope you take your business elsewhere! read more

My husband and I went in to purchase a motorhome. We gave Copley's a good faith deposit of 5K. Unfortunately, we had a family emergency and were unable to purchase it at this time. We immediately notified Brian and Michelle at Copley's, and requested our deposit back. Brian became very rude, abusive and threatening. Insisting that we complete the transaction. We then sent them a certified letter with copies of all of the paperwork clearly stating that our deposit was not " non-refundable ", and to please return same. Brian's response? He sent us a letter telling us to sign off on the contract, and the deposit. But the worst part? In the envelope he included a dime. As in you will not get back one thin dime. Brian and Michelle are the owners of Copley's. I would be concerned about this lack of business ethic and professionalism if you were to purchase anything from them. Buyer beware. read more
