so last year when these guys were doing awning and LED lights, as he was reattaching the shroud with a power screwdriver he says "oh, there's a crack here and I didn't do it"...well, he must have cracked the back cover because the front fell off while I was driving back north. DO NOT USE POWER TOOLS!! I ordered the new shroud, had to get the back also since he cracked it and screws would not stay in... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY... unless you have extra funds to repair their mistakes... read more

We had a mouse invasion in our Class C RV taking out much of the wiring in the dashboard as well as the vacuum hose with the AC. These guys arrived early and got right to work. They are a funny pair and you can tell they enjoy the work. Quickly taking apart the dash and fixing all the issues, everything worked great when they were finished. Do not even think about using this company. I wasted a whole month dealing with them and ended up back where I started. I had a blown motor in my bedroom slide out. I pulled the motor drove it to him to cross reference motor only to hear the day before he was supposed to show for install he couldn't find a motor. I had to call them three times because they would not answer my calls, horrible experience. I made one phone call and found motor in stock I already ordered it. I guess they think owning a business is 9-5 it's not this coming from a person who owned a restaurant for ten years 12 a day 7 a week. Lazy is the best way to describe this business owner. read more

Service is good and friendly. We had called them because our generator stopped working. They were easy to reach and very friendly. Three trips and a considerable expense the generator is not fixed because Onan stopped making the mother board for our generator. First trip they said it needed a starter and it needed to be ordered. Second trip the generator started one time and not again they said it needed a mother board and it would need to be ordered. Last trip out they said the motherboard had been discontinued. On a pleasant note the speakers inside our fifth wheel work with our tv now after they sold us another stereo. The volume does not from the tv but we can listen to the tv from the speakers! read more

These guys are THE best! My parents were in a complete bind. A/C was out due to a terrible storm caused by a power surge. Spoke to Joey and immediately knew he knew his stuff. I called Karen and there was a cancellation she was able to fit us in. What a blessing! My Dad is military vet, my mom legally blind.. I tried to take care of it myself, but wasn't my expertise and we needed someone right away. We were in a hotel room with NO a/c in extremely hot weather. Insurance allowed us for hotel. Don't hesitate to trust this family business. They have the knowledge, the care and concern that's hard to find nowadays, especially in RV repair. You may not be able to get right in. You may have to wait because they stay booked when it's snowbird season. I was lucky enough for that cancellation, but be patient if possible and wait on the experience. read more

I had a problem with my Norcold refrigerator in my RV. A corroded connection in the wiring allowed the refrigerator temperature rise to 52 deg F (not good). I was referred to Father & Son Mobile RV Service by a satisfied customer. They happened to be nearby and came to see my problem later that afternoon. Great luck...they are Dometic/Norcold Authorized Service Agents. They inspected my refrigerator inside and out, checked for coolant leaks, fan operation, replaced an internal temperature sensor, and checked the door seals. We discussed options for improving the efficiency of this refrigerator or replacing it with a residential 110 VAC unit. Either way, they had prior experience with my situation and were available to help as I needed. When they departed, there was no charge. Just a request for a review. I am very impressed with this father and son team. I will call them again when I need to repair or replace the refrigerator, or need help with any other RV problem. As an aside--the refrigerator is working again. Thank you Joe Remelius and son. read more

Don't judge a book by it's cover! Don't bother if you own a Class C or above. The hidden cost that we're not discussed or disclosed by owner but added to total due. When questioned the owner was rude and very unprofessional! The problem was not resolved properly and I took it to another local RV Service and received excellent customer service and was told total cost upfront. I would never recommend to service. read more

I called Father and Son RV repair in regards to servicing my two air conditioners. The website indicates that for $99.99 they would clean the coils and anything else that requires cleaning. On the phone he quoted me a price $129 Plus $80 for showing up. I pointed out to him that his website states that for $99.99 he will do all the necessary cleaning . His response was that can't be right we'll have to look at that and update our website . For $360 I said thanks anyways and I hung up on him. In my view just another guy that rips people off. We had Joe come to our house to help us determine why our HiLo camper wouldn't raise up. We had just bought the camper and had this problem with it. He checked it out and said the hydraulic cylinder needed to be replaced. He said he doesn't fix that problem but told us where we could take it. For the 15-20 minutes he was here, with really no help to us, he charged $200!!! When he left, we called the other company. They said to bring in the cylinder. We called Joe to come back and remove the cylinder but he said he had another appointment. It was our fault for not asking in advance what his rate is, and since I wasn't there when he gave my husband the bill, my husband just paid it. I wouldn't have paid that amount.That comes to about $600 per hour! When I saw the bill, I emailed Joe that it was a lot of money for a service call. He did not respond. Needless to say, we will not deal with this company in the future. read more

We contacted the company and left a vox mail msg in the late afternoon. We received a return call from the husband, who along with his son are the technicians, and were asked to call Karen to make an appt. Karen said they were booked out for 2 weeks, but understood our water issue required immediate assistance. She asked her husband to call us and attempt to talk us through the issue, as they were not available to come to our rv park. Within 2 minutes we were called and patiently walked through a fix for the issue. It worked, and we were not charged as it was a telephone consultation. My husband and I were amazed to find people who care about strangers' well being more than a profit. This is a small family run business that I highly recommend and would definitely use again if we needed assistance. Thank you for caring. read more
