Went in to get the A/C fixed and gave a deposit of $300 for the part. Went back the next day to get the work done. They then told me it was not that part and charged $700 for checking it out. Told I needed a compressor or go to Carmax and get a used one???? Really, really, really bad form guys. I'm a widow who lives on Social Security. Used the last of my credit card to pay but I will fight to get my money back. Don't go here if you are looking for an honest car repair service. read more

Absolutely amazing! I've taken my Camaro to Total Auto twice now and I got the same treatment as last time. These guys and gals TRULY know what customer service is about and every place I've taken my car before this should have to train there before getting a job, ESPECIALLY the dealership. I've been in customer service for decades and this place is top-notch. You cannot find ANY place better. The shop lobby is bright and immaculate, the mechanics are just as skilled as the front of the shop employees are at making it seem like they are at your beck and call. They've never tried to be patronizing or dishonest about what my car needs or tried to hard sell me something I didn't ask for. The prices are great and the staff really DO go above and beyond what's expected and even beyond what's being paid for. They have the customers best interests in view instead of " oh here comes a woman with a muscle car, let's pad her bill or tell her it needs more etc.", like others have tried on me.
