Dave and his team did an outstanding job repairing my car recently. I ran over a curb and damage the right front fender and wheel. Maaco started out with a free estimate which was complete and thorough and fully explained to me in detail. Then they not only dealt with the insurance company for me so I didn't have to coordinate anything, but they also helped to arrange for a rental car nearby. The only problem is they seem to be so popular that they're getting incredibly busy. Highly recommended. They completed my car on time and I was surprised to arrive with it fully cleaned and even vacuumed out inside, a very nice touch. read more

The best paint and body shop on the Treasure Coast. I have had 4 cars done here and their work is always top notch, their customer service is friendly and despite always being very busy, their turn around is quick as well. I had a badly rusted rear door on a fleet Tahoe I picked up and it needed replaced. Dave K. actually went out of his way to find me a white door that matched my fleet truck saving me hundreds of dollars. Another shop might not think of that, or might get a door of another color just to raise the price. You will be treated well here, and whatever you bring them, it will be repaired expertly, on time, and with a smile. read more

In August of 2019 I took my 07 Tacoma to Maaco of Stuart for a complete Paint job with minor body work. When I received the Vehicle back, they had done a fantastic job, I was so impressed that a few weeks ago I took it back to have the roof nrepainted because it was parked in my driveway in the sun and started to blister. A week later I got it back and was satisfied with the work. They even cleaned my headlamps without me asking. I moved to Stuart from Pittsburgh to avoid the brutal weather. I had a minor encounter with a pole. I had a very good experience here. every staff member --without exception-- was friendly and kind. What I liked about the place was that everyone knew what was going on with my car. Anyone I talked to was familiar with it and could answer my questions. When Macao learned that the part I needed wouldn't arrive until the following Tuesday, someone called me, told me about the shipping delay and offered that I could pick up my car if I needed it for the weekend. I appreciated that. When one of the guys pulled up with my car he said he couldn't believe all the bird poop on my car -- he said that I could go next door to the car wash to get it cleaned and the cost of the wash would be deducted from my final bill. (Super car wash by the way--got everything off!) Maybe I could have gotten it done cheaper somewhere else, but I didn't feel like shopping it around. I felt that what I was charged was fair and I trusted the guys who work there. Great job on the car repair, too. Thanks guys. PS the only suggestion for improvement i have is that Macao discontinue the way they handle calls coming in that they can't answer at the moment because they are all on other calls. The call is forwarded to some sort of answering service "this is Maaco how can I help you" with kids crying and other commotion in the background. This happened to me twice over the time my car was there and neither message that I left was communicated to the Maaco staff. I think a recording stating that all the lines are busy but please leave your number would be more effective. The guys in the shop could listen to the messages and call right back. read more

I used Maaco again last week to repair a deep scratch(self inflicted by backing into my golf cart!) in my 2022 Genesis. Again, Chris and his team did a great job on the repair and matching the paint. They're cheap so expect the work to reflect the price. You're better off paying more money for a job well done. I wish I had. The paint is peeling and you can see a lot of cracks and imperfections in the paint. They also didn't sweat my bumper so it started peeling within the first week. When I brought it back they told me they weren't responsible for the body work. It had nothing to do with the body work it's a plastic bumper and needed to have flex added to the paint and sweat the bumper (their words). They of course charged me to fix their own mistake that should've never happened to begin with if they took the time to do the work right the first time around. Oh, and my "warranty" did nothing even though they knew exactly what needed to be done, and the peeling was clearly a result of poor workmanship. I had to call the corporate office who went back and forth between them and I. In the end they charged me for the supplies, and they covered my rental car for the day and labor charges. I'll post pictures of what my paint looks like 4 years later. I'm in need of another paint job though and have been for a couple of years. CRAPPY WORK! CRAPPY SERVICE! Do yourself a favor and keep shopping around before you trust them to paint your car. After posting this review they called me on the phone in the hopes I would take this review down. He insulted me during the conversation then told me to come by and see what he could do for me, but I already know they're not going to do anything but charge me once again to fix their crap work. read more

I used the Stuart Maaco on two occasions. The first was to paint an older car I owned. The owner was exceptionally helpful and gave a very reasonable estimate. The car was painted and returned within the time frame that was agreed and I couldn't have been happier with the results. The car looked amazing, brand new. The second time I had to have my Durango repaired and painted because my 16 year old wrecked it. Maaco worked with my insurance company and worked out all the details. The process was painless. I seriously considered purchasing a new car because my Passat looked terrible. The paint was severely damaged by the sun, and the car looked old and worn. However, since my car had only 53,000 miles on it, I thought about painting it instead and took it to Maaco for an estimate. After viewing the options, I went ahead with it. I'm so glad I did! These guys are true professionals in every way. They have some truly talented paint and body techs in that shop that do some excellent work. I have an OBS Ford 1 ton that was suffering from some pretty nasty rust issues in the rain rails. A lot of shops around town wouldn't touch the truck and made the job sound impossible or not worth the effort. Chris and his crew over there at Maaco said, "no problem", pulled out the grinders and got to work. The truck came out great, the rain rails look like they just came from the factory, they sprayed the roof and matched the colors perfectly. I'm pretty particular when it come to who I let touch my truck, and I can't recommend these guys enough. Top notch! read more

I drive an old car, it drives great. I wanted it to look as great as it drives. I spoke with Chris Miele who has been in business for over 27 years, I was told Maaco in Stuart has a great reputation. My car also had a padded vinyl roof that had cracked. Maaco explained that they did not do that work on their premises but knew a guy who would come to them and fix it. We agreed terms I was not in a rush and two weeks later I had what can only be described as a ' new car' I am thrilled! I picked the base coat / clear coat even though I always clean and wax my car, the new depth of color and shine is fantastic. I spent just under $2500 for new roof and paint, but what I got was WOW! WHERE DID MY REVIEW GO I PLACED A MONTH AGO...????? I took my jeep in for paint and removal of rust 2 months ago for the second time, had I listened to Dave, I would not had to take it in again, he explained that I should have had this special top paint which I did this time, and the jeep looks like new. So far, I have had lots of complements, and happy that I had it painted. Dave could not have been nicer, and took the time to explain the entire process that Chris went thru painting, and removal of rust, what a great job. Dave explained the financing which was great, and saved me money. I assure you that Dave is very honest, and if you are a woman, and need work done, feel very comfortable taking your vehicle and having Dave take care of your problem. I backed my new Honda Civic into a tree and did about $2500 damage. I checked out the reviews first, and saw that they were real because of the different styles of writing and the original problems and phrases used. Well I was lucky enough to be right about this one! Chris actually charged me less than one half of the estimate. Did you ever get charged less than the estimate at a auto repair business??? Its the truth! My 2005 Mustang needed body work and paint. The hood was badly blistered and I was embarrassed to drive the car. I decided to change the color from grey to red.
