They have connections to all the trades and can get a plumber, handyman etc over to my property often the same day, which is critical to keeping up the level of service I want for my guests. (Producing a repair person on the same day is no mean feat in the islands.) They are personable and professional, a pleasure to work with, and charge far less than a traditional property management company. I recommend them highly to any vacation rental owner.

When we started, we discovered a massive lint build in their systems. I was told by one of their maintenance workers that it had never been cleaned professionally in the 19 years he had worked on the property! When I asked to increase my original bid accordingly, they refused and threatened me with legal action if I pulled my crew off the job. Prior to starting the job, the AOAO had decided to offset the initial expense of my work by pre-invoicing the owners. They couldn't go back without losing face. Andrea, we always did top-notch service for your clients. When you decided to cut my line, you not only hurt me and my business, but you also took a valued vendor option away from the owners. I hope you read this because if I hear anyone else mention bait and switch, I will sue you for defamation. Awe!

We had a condo rented months ago with a different company…read more(a nationally know brand), but after we had already arrived on Maui and we're driving to it, that company notified us that the condo was no longer available and they didn't have anything comparable to offer us. A quick internet search led us to Maui Roost and we called them and Julie was able to find us a unit within minutes. The new unit was actually better than what we had originally booked with the other company. She literally saved our two week vacation. We will book with Maui Roost managed units from now on!

Fabulous building adjacent to another complex with a high end new restaurant. All the amenities. Such lies and misrepresentations. We found nothing of the sort. And what view there was had filth caked on the windows. The unit was small. The bedroom had a slit of windows up near the ceiling facing the common hallway so as you are in the bedroom you hear everyone walking by. And the list goes on. We stayed 30 minutes and then booked our vacation at a beautiful hotel in Wailea getting the last room available. Complained to CB Vacation Rentals and was blown off multiple times. Jeremiah, Manager, was a joke! So we have now filed formal complaints with multiple jurisdictions and have demanded a full refund from VRBO and CB Rentals. Consumer misrepresentation is a crime and we will not sit back and be victimized by either party. If you see CB Vacation Rentals as a host - RUN away as fast as your feet will carry you. We are seasoned global travelers and have never experienced anything remotely like this. And we travel 1/2 the year to remote places where even in remote Patagonia, India, Mongolia, the Mekong...have never experienced such lies.

The day after booking and paying for this property we get an email from Patricia requesting another almost $500 or she will cancel our booking! We contact VRBO who tells us not to pay because she has a legally binding contract with us for the price that we paid since we had already paid. They say they are contacting her and everything will be worked out. Well four days later Patricia cancels our rental now we are searching for another rental with even slimmer pickings in Maui for Christmas. After reading other reviews I'm so glad we aren't staying in anything under her management. She is running a scam trying to get more money after entering a contact with paid customers.

The property was 5 minute walk from the center of Waikiki, a 10 minute walk to Ala Moana Center, and about 10-15 minutes walk to the beach. The location was awesome and the property was newly renovated as well as sparkling clean. But that wasn't what we were most pleased with. We had an issue with our wifi and our initial email was responded to within minutes and every email after that was responded within a minute. I was shocked by the quick response time! Soon enough, he made his way out to the property and started to fix the issue for us. He escalated the issue with the service provider and did all he could and more for us. We were so pleased because it was one of those experiences that just brightened your entire trip. Thank you, Casey!
