They used to have a rewards program with a physical paper card that got stamped every visit, until you filled the card and got a free yoghurt. Some time ago that changed to a system of just giving your phone number. Fine. Today even though I was accumulating points against my phone number I was told I would have to register with an application to maintain the points I accumulated. And if I don't register I effectively relinquish the points I had gathered. This change would have been acceptable once someone got enough point to redeem. But on principle I don't like the idea of being forced into registering for something I don't want after I was already earning points. If I had just redeemed a free yoghurt and I was told to start working towards my next one, I'd need to register on their app, that would have been acceptable. I could choose to register or not without forfeiting points I already earned. But the approach used was disrespectful, so I will now be looking for alternate place to get my frozen yoghurt fix.

The donut was very crumbly and a bit hard to eat but having it around the straw helped especially at an event like this where you don't want to get your hands too dirty with finger foods. Located in a downtown area, place is pretty big, with a lot of cool seating. Woman working behind the counter was friendly and worked me through their coffee choices. I went with their house dark roast, they roast their own beans. They also use real mugs for customers that are staying to enjoy the coffee. That really adds to the experience. I was surprised to see Durian on the dessert menu or at least I didn't remember from the other time we visited the restaurant.
