The choices where pizza hut, olive garden and here. this place had 4.4 stars so I said lets give it a try. walking in i was a bit concerned because no one was doing anything but you cant judge a book by its cover. we grabbed a menu, sat anywhere. we choose to sit near the tv where my boyfriends favorite program was on. there was sound on the tv so he was happy about that. we walked to the front ordered and the staff was nice and attentive to help the young lady. as soon as we ordered they brought out two side salads and bread knots which where so soft and fresh. super unexpected. our food took no longer than 15 minutes for both. me and my boyfriend where super impressed by the quality of food they delivered. i enjoyed looking at all the poster on the walls and the decorations they had! If im ever back on this side of town I will be back ASAP. I may even drive this far as my new pasta spot! It was supposed to have an assortment of shell fish. It arrived in a cast iron skillet. The rice was cooked but crunchy on top and very dry. There was no moisture at all. The only fish was 4 overcooked prawns and a pile of calamari, mostly tentacles. It was inedible. The waiter took the paella off the bill. Hubs ordered the "special" beef stroganoff. The food runner brought his meal and it didn't look like stroganoff. It was pasta in a red sauce that was pretty good. The food runner came back and apologized. Took the pasta away and left stroganoff. So bland and underwhelming. Not a salt shaker in sight. All around bad experience. For as pricey as this place is, we won't be back. We can have mediocre or bad food closer to home.
