When I had some concerns about the original setting becoming loose, they took my concerns seriously. After they took a look and agreed with my inclination, they decided to simply make a completely new head for the setting. I fully expected to pay for this, but they completed the service on-the-house because that is the kind of pride they take in their work. The customer service, knowledge of the staff, selection of pieces, and ability to do custom work is truly elite compared to my experiences in other stores. Jennifer was my sales representative and Nikki was my jeweler who did the custom work. They were both kind, patient, and attentive while responding to my many questions. The stones were beautiful but I wanted something a little bit separated from the diamond trade industry. I reached out to Lori wanting a simple round brilliant solitare in yellow recycled gold. We were able to talk on the phone and exchange emails with photos of what I wanted. Lori and my fiance finished the deal. The ring is beautiful and it was presented to me with a little wooden box and a photo book of where the stone came from and the process of it being made. These little details made an already exciting event extra special!! Lori was able to fine a beautiful solitaire stone that had been sold in order for the previous owner to upgrade. Gerson was able to make the perfect setting. Not only is my ring gorgeous but it also has a story. From the metal to the stone everything lived a little bit of life before it came to me. I went for my pedicure and then stopped into Chesterfield Jewelers. I honestly didn't know it was there and had never been. Lovely store and the bench guy was able to take the watch right away and replace the battery while I walked around. A person who walks into a jewelry store for a watch battery is the bane of every jeweler's existence. Why? Because the watch battery person never wants anything else but the battery. You can't upsell them and it's possible you will never see them again. I know this because I am in a different facet of the jewelry business. I was that person on this day and they were truly nice as can be to me even though I walked in about 30 minutes before they were closing and they were packing up the showcases. My watch was working and I went out of town the following day and wore the watch over the weekend. This was a very lovely store and I will be back for more than just a watch battery.
