Omg omg omg. Just amazing. At first we were worried cause we were the only ones there at 8pm. Waiter said Naples eats late unlike americans. We did 5 Course tasting menu but we ended up with 10 courses (lots of a amousès bouches sp ). The raw shrimp and mozzarella was amazing as was the potato soup with caviar and squid. Absolutely loved the octopus dish. Local wines made me want to re think my cellar. Location on the beach in Naples was beautiful. If this restaurant were in Washington D.C., you'd be waiting months for a reservation. Service was impeccable.

Sano Sano - Salmon tacos and caprese

As for the food, it's still the classic, good quality Neapolitan cuisine. I got the Mareggiata seafood pasta (€20), which had mussels, shrimp, and tomatoes in it. It was 3-4 star quality, as the sauce was a bit watery and the pasta didn't seem particularly fresh. I also got a babà (€6) for dessert, which is a classic Neapolitan dessert consisting of a sweet bread soaked in rum. It was decent and certainly soaked in a whole lot of rum - you could see it all seeping out if you pressed down on it. The staff are average friendliness and the service speed is pretty quick. Overall, while the food is just average quality, the nice modern environment really elevates the experience, so I am giving Sano Sano 4 stars.

Everything in Italy is healthy and clean, but this restaurant specifically focuses on healthy, clean, and varied ingredients. It was one of the only restaurants we ate at that had so many options and so many types of food. For appetizers, we had the caprese and the salmon tacos. Caprese was good, the tacos were okay - they were like wonton fried tortillas. The gnocchi with pistachio crème was sooo delicious, and my fiancée loved his spaghetti al pomodoro, simple and tasty. Would definitely recommend for lunch or dinner in Naples!
