Fish tacos - taco tuesday
Naana S.

My friends and I stopped in one day to try this place out. It is very lowkey and cozy. We tried the wings, the burger, tacos, prime rib quesadillas, and french onion soup! Everything was soooo good. Food is delicious and affordable! Daily specials to try new things. Kat is an amazing bartender, she gives great recommendations and always has a great attitude! Drinks are diverse and yummy. 100% would recommend!!

Nice spot for a drink and dinner...not what it once was but still a decent place for a change of pace.

Love it. Great food. Good drinks. Unbelievable prices. Only 4 stars because I never win on the machines.

Hampton Inn Martinsburg South-Inwood | Room #424 |…read more My wife and I recently spent a weekend in Martinsburg, and this hotel turned out to be a great home base for our adventures, dining excursions, and, of course, my nightly battle with technology and television settings. Room #424 was a nice size and very well designed. Whoever planned the layout deserves a raise because they did an excellent job maximizing the available space. While the room didn't have many drawers, it more than made up for it with plenty of closet space. One thing I appreciated immediately was the number of mirrors. There were enough mirrors for both my wife and me to get ready at the same time. No scheduling appointments. No mirror-sharing negotiations. No emergency declarations. Marriages have survived on less. Our room featured two queen-size beds, a refrigerator, and a microwave, all of which got plenty of use during our stay. We also ordered food through DoorDash without any issues, and delivery to the hotel was quick and easy. The TV was a nice size, the Wi-Fi connected easily, and my Fire Cube hooked up without a problem. That's always a major victory because sometimes hotel technology acts like it's protecting national secrets. One of my favorite design features was the desk. It was on wheels and could slide completely under the TV stand when not in use. It's a simple idea, but it opened up a surprising amount of floor space and made the room feel even larger. The hotel is conveniently located near several restaurants, with some within walking distance. That's always a plus because after a long day, the less driving required between me and dinner, the better. Now for the only real downside. The bathroom was clean but fairly basic and on the smaller side, with a tub/shower combination. As someone blessed with NBA forward height trapped inside a retired police officer's body, the showerhead seemed designed for people considerably shorter than me. Let's just say I spent part of every shower performing neck stretches and ducking like I was avoiding low-hanging tree branches. The room safe wasn't working, but honestly that's on me because I forgot to mention it to the front desk. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar, both of which we enjoyed during our stay. As for the staff, most were professional and handled their responsibilities well. They did what was expected and kept things moving smoothly. However, two employees really stood out. LeAnn, the Saturday night bartender, was fantastic. Friendly, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable to talk with. The Saturday overnight front desk associate, whose name I unfortunately didn't get, was equally outstanding. She was welcoming, conversational, and made guests feel appreciated rather than processed. Sometimes it's those small interactions that turn a good stay into a memorable one. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, the location was convenient, the amenities met our needs, and a couple of exceptional employees added a personal touch that made the experience even better. We'll definitely be back on our next Martinsburg visit. And hopefully by then they'll raise the showerhead a few inches... or I'll remember to pack a snorkel.

I throughly enjoyed staying here and would book again in a heartbeat…read more Checking in was a breeze, the front desk guy was very friendly and personable. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the indoor pool - we called first to make sure it was available and to confirm the hours. It being open until 11PM was awesome and not something you typically come across since most pools close 9-10PM. We got lucky and there was no one else in the pool area so we had a blast. The room & water were heated & comfortable. I have zero complaints about our room. It smelled fresh (not just that obnoxious perfume-y smell that's obviously covering up odors) it genuinely felt and smelled clean. The bed was very comfortable, and both soft/firm pillows were provided so you have options! USB ports & plugs in the nightstands and placed throughout the room so there's always a convenient charging spot. We didn't end up trying the restaurant for dinner or breakfast so I can't comment on that, but the room has its own Keurig coffee machine and downstairs had a coffee station with extra cream/sugar provided. Also, fridge and microwave in our room. The bathroom was clean, the shower was hot, the fan was LOUD which is nice for privacy purposes. Thermostat worked well and quickly. I appreciated the TV channel guide being printed out so we could see all of our options. The ONLY negatives I can share - WiFi was extremely slow. I gave up trying to use it at all. In the morning, housekeeping knocking on a door nearby was so loud it woke me up in a panic because it sounded like they were coming into our room. All in all, very minor complaints to have. This is a nice hotel and I definitely recommend it.
