We tried the Jalebis and oh my gosh! They were thin and crispy with the right amount of sweetness! We also got the vegetable spring rolls and they were great too. You must get the chutney that comes with it.. its so good! The service was a little slow though but the jalebis made up for that. Jalebis were $4.99 per pound and spring rolls were 0.50 cents each.. so real easy on the pocket.

Just had the samosas, Jalebis and the mixed sweets pack from there and everything with pretty average. The potato filling of the veggie samosa was super flavourful but they cheaped out on it! The left almost an inch of crust that did not contain any filling. The crunch of both the Samoa's and Jalebis was satisfying even though the Jalebis were cold. Everything in the sweet box was amazingly fresh. The texture was a solid 10 out of 10 but the taste was not impressive. It lacked sugar and somehow I tasted a pinch of salt in it. The only thing I would re purchase is the besan burfi. All in all I would stick to other places like bismillah sweets for the sweet box and India's taste for samosas and Jalebis.

I love burfi. Like, love love love burfi. So when I had a sudden craving for it last night, I googled forever trying to find a place close by to get some. Apparently the pickings are slim in West Mississauga (or you all are keeping your best places hush hush!), but luckily I found Pak Sweets. Seems like a newly opened sister store to the one on Dundas, but the samosas and sweets are on point! Their opening specials include 3 veggie samosas for $1 and 2 chicken samosas for $1 - you can't go wrong. They've also got a beautiful assortment of mouth watering sweets. The service is fantastic too, they're patient and take time to explain the different varieties they have. I will gladly come back here for more sweets and samosas any day of the week!

Pretty good samosas. I tried their veg and chicken samosa and they were very tasty. They can work on the chutney provided with it. Also jalebis were decent. Didnt fi d the sweets that awesome. But for samosas its a very good option and rightly priced.

Another item that we noticed was missing at this location was the robot waiter, which we were hoping to see. Nevertheless, when we walked-in, we were pleasantly surprised to see how large the restaurant was, with ample room to walk around the food tables, and choose our items with ease. Also, it wasn't too busy in the restaurant itself, which allowed us to choose a table of our liking near the back. Once we had placed our order, we waited about 12-15 minutes for the food to arrive. We had settled on one thali, which contained butter chicken, along with a few other lentil curries. This thali was marvellous, as the food items tasted delicious, and were freshly-made. Also, there was an ample amount, which filled me up to the brim! We also ordered butter chicken on the side, with an order of plain naan. Once again, we were impressed with how delicious these items tasted; we ended up getting refills of the naan, as it was too hard to pass up! Service was also great, as we were brought our refills quickly upon ordering. All servers were pleasant, and always greeted us with a smile. Definitely a place we would return to in the future!

Anyhow, I only tried some vegetarian items and it was not bad. They are currently offering 20% off takeout as part of their grand opening. Prices are reasonable and place is pretty spacious with seating and limited parking spots. Lots of sweet and savoury options. Would like to go back to try their mango lassi and dosa. Their samosa was good, it's different from the other ones I've tried as they don't have the big chili flakes inside which I like but it's a bit oily. I like the sauces that come with it. Tea was good too. There's options for sweets that's not too sweet which is great.

The reason behind the large menu is related to the aim of the restaurant, which is to showcase the various regional cuisines of India. As a result, don't expect the straightforward menu of: apps, entrees, deserts, etc... rather the menu is divided by cuisine. Aside from honouring tradition, they do offer a couple 'new' takes on some items. If you comb through a few reviews, and certainly the pics, you'll notice a must-order items is the roasted eggplant with pomegranate. It really is like nothing else I've had before and unforgettable in both taste and texture. My group also went with a famous lamb dish as well. I don't remember the name offhand, but it is incredibly soft, well seasoned and nicely spiced dish. We also went with orders of naan, veggie dishes and meat skewers. It's beautifully decorated inside and also has the advantage of being located in a heritage building in what was formerly an estate home nearly 150 years old. It's truly a unique place and one people living in the area can be proud and of showcase to visitors.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which set a great tone for the evening. For appetizers, we ordered the chicken and paneer, and both turned out to be really good. For our mains, we went with Rogan Josh, Chicken Tikka Masala, Dal Maharani, Malai Kofta, and Chicken Biryani. Most of the dishes were delicious--Rogan Josh, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Dal Maharani were especially impressive. The Malai Kofta was on the sweeter side, but still enjoyable depending on your taste. The only real disappointment was the Chicken Biryani. It had an overpowering amount of rose water, and the rice tasted stale with a strange aftertaste, which really took away from the dish. Additionally, while the restaurant is understandably a bit pricey for a special occasion, the naan prices felt excessive. Overall, we had a great experience--the ambience was beautiful, the service was warm, and most of the food was excellent. I would have given four or even five stars, but due to the Biryani and the naan pricing, I'm leaving it at three stars. Maybe next time!!!

I loved all the curries but felt they weren't as flavourful as other restaurants I had in the past - but still very good. We actually had the takeout at a nearby park and there was no cutlery or napkins included so we had to make make-shift cutlery from the aluminum foil that was used to house the naan. Service was nice. Would love it if they had a thali option to dine-in instead of just take-away.
