I LOVE this place! I go in there at least once a month. The folks that own/work here are always so kind and even remember those of us that maybe don't come in daily, but still...it's rather impressive. I looked at a couple other reviews and clearly, those folks are just salty because these people are the nicest, most helpful folks! They also do USPS shipping...I will never set foot in another post office because you WILL NOT get that kind of service at a PO. Yes, you pay a tiny bit more, but here's the deal, I value having a wonderful experience and a short line over dealing with a jerk and waiting in line 45 minutes!!! My go-to shipping location! They are very friendly here. You are treated like a person, not a number. Best part, though, they are able to compare shipping costs between UPS, USPS, & FedEx. I would never use the Pak Mail service the charged my friend $16 to mail a baggie of cookies after removing part of the package i guess they had to mail something since the charged him money or they would have eaten the cookies as well as giving the other gift to their girlfriend. I effing learned my lesson. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY OVER DOUBLE WHAT IT WOULD COST TO SEND IT VIA USPS. Yesterday, I had two international packages to send. They charged me $37.00 apiece. I balked at the price at first, but the guy at the counter assured me that international costs had gone up and that's just what it costs these days. So I paid nearly $80 to ship two stupid packages. Then today, I checked on the USPS website what it really should cost and it calculated $15 apiece. I'm so freakin' mad at myself for not listening to my gut and walking out the door. Hopefully, I can save someone else from making the same mistake. read more

This is THE Best place I have found if you're trying to ship a large amount of goods. I'm not referring to Pak Mail in general either. I'm only referring to this particular location. The people running this place have an owner mentality and excellent customer service skills. They saved me so much time by doing research on packaging materials needed for the items I was shipping. They ordered the packaging material ahead of time, and had me email over my names and addresses prior to me bringing my items in. Within a few days they had everything packaged up and sent me an invoice for approval before shipping everything. I'm so grateful for having found this place! read more

Love great customer service!!! Took nearly 100 invitations in, bought stamps, and THEY STAMPED THEM FOR ME!!! So nice!!

I stumbled upon this place while running errands and needing to send off a gift. First of all, the whole staff working inside was super nice and helpful. They also offered me a bottle of water, which at first caught me off guard, then I thought...wow, that's pretty nice. Given people dropping off packages are prob out running other errands and may not have had a chance to hydrate. I also noticed this sign on the door, which I thought was awesome. If you have a car full of kids or a large order, you can call and they'll come out to your car and help. I found this to be really thoughtful/ considerate, especially for people with young kids whom take quite a bit of effort to get in and out of car seats. I don't think I've come across a more pleasant mailing experience! read more

I do not usually write bad reviews, but I had an unpleasant experience at this place. I went in to ship a gift to a small town North of Dallas. The man told me it was going to be $15 to ship regular ground. To which I was totally fine with, I was having trouble remembering the exact address, so I call the recipient to ensure I had the right address , which the guy seemed completely irritated by (being that there was no one else in the store) . He asked me if I wanted to put my item in a box and I said sure. I finish placing my order and he says the total was going to be $24.75. I was like seriously, $9 for a box? I don't think so, that is absurd. He was completely rude the whole time. Then was snarky and rolled his eyes when I told him , that I no longer wanted to place my order. If I wanted to get bad customer service, I would have gone to the post office, at least I would have saved some money!! My verdict, if you like rude and overpriced shipping, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, save your self some money and better service experience from some where else! read more

My son is starting a lawn mowing business and needs 400 double-sided tri-fold copies of his brochure (I know you are doing the math in your head right now, $1.18x400=$472+tax) The lady behind the counter (wearing a bandana around her head today) said she could make copies. The hard copy I have is spotty from the rain on the way over. I asked if she could print it from my thumb drive. "Heavy sigh, yes..." She started to print one so I could see it, I asked how much. She says, "$1.18". I'm sure this is too much for my son to pay for four hundred copies. I asked if she could work on the price some. She said no. (The print looked very good by the way) I said, ok, I will have to show this to my son, he is paying for this, if it's ok, I'll need to know how many he can pay for. I picked up the copy, she said that would be $1.18. I put my credit card on the counter. She says we have a $5 minimum. I said ok, you can have the copy back. I dropped the top to my thumb drive. Before I finish bending over to pick it up, she says "Don't bother coming back, you just stole from us!" I said I will not be coming back. However, I will pay the $1.18 I owe the store as soon as I get to speak to the store owner. I work right across the street from this store and can walk over at any time. Yes, I will change the YELP stars and update this review after I speak to the owner. I went to Postal Etc. on Burnet Rd and purchased 400 copies @ $0.29 each. ------------------------------------- It is now two hours later. After posting this and a complaint to the corporate website, I received this email from Pak Mail Corp: (I removed the last names to comply with the Yelp privacy guidelines.) I just had one of the best customer service experiences. It's exactly one week before Christmas and I had to send presents to South Carolina. I knew it was going to be pricey. The first quote I got was do insane I considered not sending presents at all! The awesome clerk figured out a way to get it down by $60! Everything will still get there on time! He didn't have to help me find a cheaper way but I'm glad he did. I'll be using Pakmail for all my shipping needs from now on! read more

I've stopped going to the post office almost entirely since discovering this Pak Mail location. I can be confident that my packages get where they need to go, they arrive on time and in tact. When was the last time you felt that good about the USPS? The owner works in the store a lot and he remembers the customers. 4/29/2015: YIKES. This place is the worst. The guy working said his name was Justin--young, dark curly hair, thin, and not very tall. He was verbally abusive, and scary. He said I broke his machine when it stopped working (it was out of paper) said "I needed to take responsibility for my actions of breaking his machine and that this was "self-Serve" not "him helping me serve." I told him copying machines were not my forte and he said "they're not mine either." I asked him if he'd like me to take my business elsewhere and he said "I could care less where you take you four dollars" and that I was oversensitive. He just continued to tell me what a piece of "s**t I was and I finally told him I don't need a lecture and to just help me make some copies. My Dad is dying of cancer and I needed to copy his records and I walk in and get this!!! He is in the wrong business! I am reporting him and Pakmail to the BBB and Attorney General. As a woman alone in the store I felt very afraid of this out of control, angry guy. DO NOT GO THERE! Unless you want to be berated and picked on.
