If I could rate them 0 stars I would. The initial quoting and project scope went smoothly. We were having our kitchen cabinets painted and the process was streamlined for color selection, scheduling and price. The issues began with the actual project. I was quoted for a 6 day time frame and the project was rushed in 3 and 1/2 days. It was obvious that this was a rush job as the sanding piece of the quote was never completed, the cabinets were all hung wrong and therefore rubbing paint off their neighboring cabinets. I complained and they offered to send someone out immediately (1 week later) to correct the issues. One the initial issues were discovered, I spent more time looking at the work that was done. Cabinets, literally 1 week after the work was completed were chipping, there were paint spots all over my recently refurbished hardwood floors, and I came to find out that all of the cabinet hardware was placed back on while the paint was still wet. This caused massive patching and chipping issues when we decided to change the hardware weeks later. Seriously, who would want to pay for such shoddy work??? A regional manager came to the house and agreed that the work was subpar. Beware of this scam of a company. read more

I found paintzen to be intolerable we had the paint colors reversed for the rooms when I called dismayed, they put me in touch with someone named Pete who was very arrogant loud and generally intolerable. They did a great job, and when I told them about some issues i saw they scheduled someone to come by and fix them right away. They were super flexible with my time line, and in making sure I was informed along the way. The price was great, compared to other places I got a quote from. I hired Paintzen to paint my second floor hallway/ stairway. This is my 3rd time using them and they do a very good job for a very fair price. The painter that Paintzen sent out (Lech) was absolutely the best painter I have ever used and I've used many over the years. Most of the painters I hired in the past have been pretty good but Lech is by far the most detail oriented and meticulous painter I have ever seen. His attention to detail is second to none. Lech is easy going, professional, always leaves the space broom clean and punctual. If you hire Paintzen ( and you should) to paint your house they send out quality painters but if you can request Lech you should. In my previous two experiences with Paintzen the painters they sent out were were very good but have to mention Lech here because he goes above and beyond. I just tried Paintzen for the first time. My wife has been asking me to change the color of our master bedroom for a year, but I never got to it. It was an impediment to accomplishing many other interior decorating tasks, but I had too many other things on my renovation to-do list that were more pressing. My old go-to paint guy suggested Paintzen. It was fast and easy to get a quote and schedule the work. Even better, the guy who came was able to bust out all the work in one day - patching and sanding holes, and two coats of paint, as well as patches in two other rooms. It would have taken me a week to do it all while juggling my usual responsibilities. Instead, there was only minimal disruption to my family's routine. Happy wife, happy home. And his team, they were the best painters I have ever used in my years of hiring painters and contractors in general.
