I contacted Frank to plaster a hole in my ceiling and wall that were destroyed from a leak. . He came right over to my house, assessed the job, gave me a fair price and he was hired. He completed the job in about 3-4 hours and it came out beautifully!! And he fixed up a wall that had some plaster damage. I never asked, he just did this as a bonus. They're great guys and really love their job. I was a little nervous because it wasn't a huge job, but he does smaller jobs. I'll definitely hire Frank and Louis again.

It's an old house, so there isn't a single area that's level and there's little nooks & angles in every room, and somehow his team were able to work absolute magic and deliver a beautiful polish to every space while working with the quirks of an older home. The crew took the time to carefully cover all the floors & left the space tidier than it was when they arrived. Victor and his team did a terrible job working on our house. We contracted them to remove all of…read morethe paneling and replace it with drywall, as well as remove and replace all of the doors in 4 rooms of our house. Not only do the doors not work, meaning that they don't close all the way - if at all, but they didn't remove all of the paneling from the rooms we contracted them to remove it from either. In addition, they also painted some rough drywall around one of the doors as though it was door trim, in the hopes that we wouldn't notice the fact that they didn't even bother to complete putting the trim on the door. Now that we've started working on having the poor work done by Home Verse completed by someone else, we've also found numerous instances where the paneling wasn't removed either. I've attached photos of the paneling we've found in various rooms, as well as some of the drywall issues we've encountered, and a photo of the painted drywall next to the door frame that they didn't install the trim on. Stay away from this company, and hire a different contractor. When contacted about the issues listed, and sent the following photos of what we found, no refunds or compensation of any kind were offered.

We had some issues with the existing paint and…read morelead; Thiago's team did a good job prepping the surface to minimize the effect of the prior painting job. His crew arrived on time every day, was minimally invasive, and very friendly. They got the job done in a week, despite one day of rain when they couldn't work. Although it's only been a week, the paint job looks great. Thiago is incredibly responsive, which is rarely the case with contractors. After the job, a phone line had been left dangling (not a big deal). I texted Thiago, and within a couple of hours, it was fixed. We got 3 bids for the job, and Thiago's Painting was by far the best value. The only issue we had was that the team kept leaving our back gate open (we have dogs and live on a busy street), but other than that I would highly recommend Thiago's Painting.

We were trying to paint thinking our walls were drywall, then we realized they were plaster and that we were in over our heads. BRAUSA came in and fixed everything up beautifully, patching the plaster and making our walls smooth again. The house looks brand new with the trim work and caulking too. They got the job done (about 1000 sq foot) in less than a week which was so helpful. They also updated our electrical outlets and light switches, coincidentally fixing a doorbell that apparently hadn't worked for decades. Seriously AMAZING! I will definitely be using them again for future painting projects.

I hired them to renovate my bathroom after Luis told me they had a licensed plumber and an amazing…read moretile guy. Well, the plumber and tile guy were one and the same and the day they were starting the tile, they opened up a brand new tile cutter out of the box and started reading the instructions. They used a piece of cardboard as a spacer, so as soon as it got wet, the spacing started to get funky. I also laid out a mock-up on my kitchen table of how each row of tile was to line up that they completely disregarded after the first wall was done. I came home for lunch one day and they had installed the bullnose upside down! They also used the wrong blade for the tile cutter because all the cut edges are raggedy. I'm going to have to pay someone to redo most of it one day, which will involve me replacing the expensive Italian tiles. Aside from the horrible tile work, the window casing looks like it was put together with scraps of trim and they painted everything with a roller and didn't full nail holes before doing so. They also damaged the new tub when installing the drain and damaged some tiles installing some fixtures. The drain line to the sink was installed too high, so until we can get a plumber to come in and repair it, we had to bend the metal and tape it all together temporarily just to get the drain to open and close all the way. Finally, we keep finding set screws on the floor and fixtures keep coming apart (faucet handles will come off in your hand, towel bars come loose from the wall, etc). I never pick the cheapest contractor but Luis and Antonio assured me I'd be pleased with the final product. It looks like I did it myself and I am not handy!

I initially went with the company that I had first contact with and because their bid was much lower based on square footage, but they came over Friday night to get a paint sample then called Saturday morning (scheduled to start Sat noon) to say that after seeing the place in person their bid was actually going to be almost twice as much. And they'd need to use cheap paint to keep their bid that low. I called Noe in a panic because when he came out to quote the job I felt like he was a good person. And he came through. Noe managed to shuffle jobs (thank you, summer storms!) to reassign multiple guys to my job on a Sunday to make sure they'd be done before I got on a plane to return to CA on Tuesday. Guillermo and Ivan were super courteous and sweet, and they were later joined by another person as well to finish up that night by 7pm (we were bracing for 9pm), and were completely done by noon Monday. Although we are renting out our place, we are keeping it so that we'll have the option to live in it again at some point if that works out, so we don't want to have it be poorly maintained. Noe was clear that he only uses quality products and used all Benjamin Moore paint in our place. It looks really great! And get this - after going out to pick up tools to take off the old bathroom fixtures, Noe and Guillermo even came back later on Monday to help us out with our bathroom fixtures (we'd ordered new ones that didn't arrive until that afternoon) because we were only in town for one week and didn't have any real tools here. I can't tell you how many grey hairs they kept me from sprouting! We'll definitely call Noe for any other jobs we have in the future - he plans to expand into cleaning as well as painting, so it'll be a one stop shop for us!

Our experience with Bright Painting was exactly the opposite: From the very start, Arthur was extremely pleasant, and promptly returned our phone calls, scheduled times to come over, and returned an estimate. Impressively, they are super punctual -- when Arthur says "We'll be there by 8:30," they are there at 8:30! They also were EXTREMELY patient and amiable throughout all the delays/setbacks we faced from the other contractors. They had pulled and refinished our cabinet faces and we had to reschedule with them several times because we had issues with the contractors doing our counters. Bright Painting was easy to get a hold of, and easy to reschedule with. And, importantly, their work is top notch! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bright Painting or hire them in the future!
