I reached out to Demore Painting and three other companies the 29th of December. Frank called me back an hour later and was at my house the next day to give me an estimate on what the job would cost. As we were trying to get the house ready to put on the market time was of the essence. Frank and his men started working on Tuesday - the same day I heard back from one of the other companies. They did a fabulous job and didn't mind having two dogs in the house while they were working. Frank regularly checked in to make sure I wanted something done and they cleaned up every night. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS BUYER BEWARE . I seldom write reviews but am doing so to warn anyone thinking of having paint work done not to use demore painting. A friend of ours had given us demores name for some painting work.( as a side note he will never use him again) ... We were advised that he was a middle of the road at best painter and not to be fooled by his false claims on his web page bragging about himself with the you get more with demore bs. he said you get more lies and excuses from demore should be the correct wording. my friend had demore do the work which was ok at best ..but said he was extremely irresponsible and operates like a fly by nighter who hides behind excuse after excuse. he showed up late and left early everyday with no orderly time schedule. we just had a couple of rooms to paint ..( nothing extreme or difficult) so We decided to take a chance on him.. ..... Demore never got back to us. " I'm not surprised ". And for the record regarding the response by demore to the other ( post left on google reviews) the mother passed away back in november of 2018.( and of course this is very unfortunate for anyone my condolences) but for demore to be using that as a crutch over 5 months later really says it all. I would strongly recommend staying away from this guy at all costs. My friend was hesitant to refer him and rightfully so .... I should have listened to him and blame myself for giving this idiot a chance in the first place. demore is nothing more than a fly by nighter act with no charge accounts in a beat up van overcharging people for mediocre work and hiding behind web pages full of false claims. and running this so called business off an old cell phone.( my friend said he had to give him money just to buy a gallon of paint) get back to people like a man and a professional mr demore, and quit making excuses. especially when someone was nice enough to refer you. apparently that's the thanks they get. Frank had a great response time, priced fairly, and did an excellent job. I needed some drywall repair, plastering and painting and Frank came by right away to look at the job. I needed the job done relatively quickly because I was going to be out of state. He was very accommodating to this and worked with me on getting it done before I left. Long story short - my fiancé and I got in touch with Frank Demore in November after finding his information online to have him give us a quote on repainting the interior of our new construction home that a previous, highly inexperienced/unqualified painter, had ruined. The previous painter did not do any prep work, painted over nail holes, did not cock properly (or at all really), left endless drip and roller marks, painted over grit/sawdust and left severely abnormal texture and uneven lines. The paint job in our new construction home looked like it was 100+ years old. Frank came in and gave us a quote and offered to expedite sending his crew over and paint nights if necessary as our move in date was only awaiting the completed paint job. Our budget was limited as we had already paid in full to have the entire house painted and Frank gave us a great price considering all of the work that it was going to take to reprep the entire space and undo the damage done. Frank made sure that our expectations for the completed job were realistic. I was very nervous due to our previous experience with the paint job however Frank kept reassuring me that him and his crew were extremely experienced and that I had nothing to worry about. After a long road while building our house, this was extremely appreciated and I was finally able to relax knowing that the job was going to be done right. This to me was priceless. Frank came in with his crew almost immediately and they spent almost a week just prepping and sanding all of our trim, walls and doors down before even touching anything with a brush. They took immense care in covering our wood floors, cabinets, etc. Frank's crew was extremely friendly, professional and they all really went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with the work. In the end, the job came out beautiful (which I'd like to note means a lot coming from me as I'm quite the perfectionist with extremely high standards). Our house looked like a new construction home again and we were so thankful to have found Frank and his crew. I doubt that others would have spent that amount of time and effort to redo the job for the price that Frank offered us. In the future we will 110% be using Frank Demore Painting for any painting needs and I would absolutely recommend his work to all of my family and friends.
