Unfortunately, dealing with Ernie himself has become so frustrating that it outweighs the quality of the work. This would have been the third project he completed for us. Over the last two weeks, I repeatedly tried to get on his schedule for some stucco repairs. He canceled the estimate appointment twice and eventually asked me to send photos instead. After finally receiving the quote, I signed and returned it promptly, but I could not get any response regarding scheduling the work. When I expressed my frustration about the lack of communication, rather than addressing the issue, he simply refused to do the job. Good workmanship is important, but so is professionalism, reliability, and communication. Based on my experience, if you're looking for a contractor who is responsive and easy to work with, you may want to consider other options.

Our home experienced significant water damage that flooded the entire first floor. As part of the…read morerestoration process, all of the drywall had to be opened and dried, the flooring was completely removed and reinstalled, and the drywall had to be repaired, textured, and color-matched. We also had several decorative columns that were cut open from the bottom and needed to be reconstructed and blended back into the original structure. Because so much of the work involved connecting new materials to existing drywall and columns, I was very concerned that the seams, texture, or paint color would be noticeable after the repairs were completed. Erick and his team took on this project at a very reasonable price, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Everyone on the team was professional, friendly, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. They completed the work in a timely manner and paid great attention to detail. Most importantly, the finished work looks seamless. You cannot tell where the repairs were made--the drywall, texture, paint, and decorative columns all blend perfectly with the original construction. The craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. I am extremely satisfied with their work and would not hesitate to hire them again for future projects. I highly recommend Erick and his team to anyone looking for skilled, reliable, and responsible contractors.

They were from more recent electrical and plumbing work and also a huge older poorly finished repair to the living room ceiling. The estimates were roughly the same (well, one was way less so we figured we had not explained all the work that we needed clearly), but Edgar stood out because he said when he could start and listed his estimate in detail (he had taken notes during the walk-through on what was being done where, paint type, texture, ...) and that he took his shoes off in the house when we were showing him all the fixes that we needed. Edgar seemed pleasant, very upbeat and eager to do a great job. Edgar kept us updated on the schedule for the week, each day and of any potential delays. It was, in total, a three day job, plus one day off for the drywall mud to dry out. The first two days were early (7:30am) until about early afternoon. The final day was a longer day of preparing, priming and painting everything (7:45am until about 5pm). Each day he gave us updates on the status and cleaned up quite well. This was helpful as we work from home and have senior dogs so we need to plan and not have a complete mess. (One of our previous drywall contractors textured things far above and beyond the target wall - other walls, ceiling and pictures...) He took his shoes off inside the house when the floors were not protected by paper or plastic. The end result is absolutely fantastic! It is like we live in a fancy new house! We just look at it all in awe that it was done so well, on-time and without any headaches. We will definitely be calling him when we need more work done and tell our friends/neighbors. Thank you so much Edgar!
