Is 4.5 stars an option? I recommend this company. From start to finish. Quick response, quick estimate/proposal and work. After going back and forth in my mind about different solutions for an older San Carlos home, I opted to replace some siding and have the stucco portion, and a smaller wood siding section painted. It is really impressive when a company like Henry's professionalism and experience gets a job done. The proposal was a fair value and commensurate with the actual work that needed to be done. Prep is a huge part of a good paint job, especially on older homes. They did a good job prepping and then the actual painting was really well done and fast! All of the team was pleasant and professional - from the office to the crew. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 is I felt the final cleanup could have been better and that my storm door now seems to stick, or not close right. I am kind of a clean freak and notice a lot of things that some might not, so the cleanup would probably be good enough for most. They sent me a thank you card which really sets businesses apart these days, that type of gesture is something many businesses should take to heart and bring back. I had high hopes for Henry's Professional Painting given the other reviews, but my experience was frustrating from start to finish. Sara was quick to book an appointment for an estimate and confirmed it promptly, which I appreciated. Ricky came out to give me an estimate as scheduled, but then I never received the actual proposal. After waiting four days, I followed up with Sara, who told me my proposal was "more complicated" and promised I'd receive it that night. It's now been another four days, and I still haven't heard anything. If they're this disorganized before even taking my money, I can't imagine what the actual project would be like. We hired Henry's Painting to repaint our master bedroom. Was able to set up an appointment with Wendy (great in house contact, coordinator and scheduler) quickly. Rick came out and we discussed several ideas concerning the paint color, type and areas. Rick suggested two colors and Wendy arranged for us to get samples of the paint choices . They were also very flexible to work with our schedule (wanted to get it done while my wife was out of town attending a conference). Just finished this morning and the house looks great. We got three quotes, and this was the lowest and the best. They started out power washing the outside of the house. Came back after that dried and taped up the house and sprayed and rolled a primer coat on the house came back the third day after the primer coat dried and put on the finish coat and were done by ten o'clock. read more

The crew did a very clean and thorough job of painting the exterior of my house. The 3-man crew was always attentive, thorough and respectful of the property. They kept asking how things looked as we progressed through the project. After a few hours' power wash one day, the crew painted the entire exterior in four days. I have never, ever been so happy with a paint job. Wish I had used them for the interior of my house. The bogus company I hired for that promised the moon, but delivered a very poor job and actually caused a lot of damage to my walls and newly installed fixtures and more. We used Henry's for an exterior painting job about 10 years ago when we first bought our house, and we were very satisfied with their work and pricing so we called them again when it was time to refinish our kitchen cabinets. The team that came to our house for the job, Charbel and Carlos, were great. Their attention to detail on all aspects of the job impressed us. I used Yelp to find a painter for the inside of our home, Henry's had great reviews and after meeting with Ricky (one of the owners) I went with them. They accommodated my strict time frame and did and EXCELLENT job! They sprayed the ceiling and rolled the walls as per their quote. The foreman Gio and his crew Ismael & Miguel, were on time and performed a quality job. Ricky would come every morning to get the crew started and then come by during the day to check on there workmanship and progress. Roxanna in the office keep in constant contact (email & phone) on start date & times, info needed (paint colors & sheens). We had several people come out for estimates and we chose Henry's because they were reasonably priced and really took a thorough look at the house, before giving an estimate. We were able to schedule an appointment for them to start almost immediately. The administrative staff were great about setting a schedule and answering all my questions, prior to the start date. The crew did a great job. They worked quickly, but were thorough and clean. The only negative I can think of is that some areas I thought were covered by the estimate, had to be renegotiated to be added on (front door interior, storage attached to house). We had a great experience with HPP. Ricky arrived with 4 painters and they went to work immediately. All were very courteous and professional. They removed a large wall of mirrors and painted the entire condo (ALL surfaces), including the inside and outside of all cabinets, in 2.5 days (we thought it would be 4-5 days) and they did not cut any corners. Henry's & Anaya's professional painting is awesome. In 2005 they painted the entire outside of my house and did a great job. Fast fwd: November 6-8, 2023 they repainted and again it came out great. Rico the lead painter/supervisor was great to work. The office staff ordered the incorrect paint for both the stucco and trim and Rico handled the situation very professionally and immediately got the correct paint and continued with the job. They power washed several days before and the first day of work was all prep and stucco repairs. Upon completion of the job, I did a thorough walk through with Rico and he and his crew happily did a few minor touch ups on some areas. Overall, I am very pleased, my house looks great and Henry's and Anaya's were very easy to work with and Sara the office gal was very quick to reply via email/ph/text. We needed repainting of some interior walls and ceiling areas, as well as outdoor fencing. I called Henry's because of the excellent job they had done several years ago. Ricky came to do the estimate - he was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. A crew of 3 led by Rico arrived exactly on schedule, went over in detail everything that was to be done. They completed the fairly big job in one day, including prepping the work areas and getting the paint. The walls and ceiling, as well as the fairly worn fencing, look like new now. A guy came by a few days early to powerwash the house and then his team of 4 or 5 men painted the house in one day. They did a very nice job.
