Overall great job painting several rooms in our house. Quick, efficient, and a quality job. Excellent communication throughout the job.

Diaz Painting repainted my stucco two story "box home" to HOA standards. They did a fine job, worked efficiently and on time for a competitive price. It was great working with Roman. Since I was also getting gutters replaced I was able to work out with him to remove the gutters before painting and the San Diego Rain Gutters folks came back in a couple of days to put the new gutters back on. It was very straightforward for the gutter people to remove that item from their invoice and Roman had it added onto the painting one. I appreciated. Later when I was surprised by an HOA violation notice for some garage fan wires that were loose afterwards, I contacted both the original Solatube installers and Diaz Painting. The Solatube people reattached the wires for free and Roman came back and painted the wires and connectors for a reasonable $50. HOAs can be aggravating so I appreciated the flexibility to get this taken care of in a timely fashion. read more

Roman is efficient & great at what he does! Quality work for a good price. I highly recommend.

This was our third time using Diaz. This was sanding and re-staining floors in the formal part of our home, adding LED lighting, and painting (plus installing blinds and a door). As always, Diaz stuck to the timeline, stuck to the estimate, and made excellent suggestions. His guys cleaned up every day and were polite. The work was done to perfection. As always happens with renovations, there were a few curveballs, but Diaz was good with communication and making needed adjustments. You can't go wrong with Diaz, and won't find a better company for almost any work inside (or around) your home. read more

We had a great experience with Diaz company, they were efficient, meticulous and did a wonderful job, my house looks beautiful!

Communication is when working with and juggling multiple contractors. Diaz Painting provided quality work with great communication on when they would arrive, expectations for the scope of work and how long the job would take. Would definitely recommend! read more

Diaz Painting I can't find enough words to describe this family owned company. They are very professional in their work but also the most friendly and happy family you'll ever meet (Rene, father, Synthia, mother, and Roman, the son). I feel like they are family to me. They are so hard working, trustworthy and honest that I was able to leave during the day and they took care of my home. Their attention to detail is truly amazing. They take great care no matter how big or small the job is. They do a lot of prep work before they even start to paint. They power wash the outside the house, repair stucco, wood repair, and protect all your landscaping before they even start painting. They are very willing to accommodate all your concerns and needs. The Diaz Family painted both the inside and outside of my house, which transformed it into a warm and welcoming home. The quality of the paint was superior and very noticeable. I love the color. Roman always had great suggestions about updating different items in my home and he was very willing and capable in executing all his suggestions. Roman is amazing. Every day the family cleaned up the area and tried to minimize the disruption to my home. They have great pride in their workmanship and it shows in everything they do. They are so good that I wish I could keep them busy all the time. read more

You cannot go wrong hiring Diaz Painting for your exterior and/or interior painting needs. I 100% recommend Diaz Painting with zero reservation. A few weeks ago, Rene Diaz stopped by our house with a flyer advertising his company's painting services. He provided a fair and well-defined estimate later that day for both our front and back porch/patio covers. On day 1, Rene and his crew (which consists mostly of family members) arrived promptly in the morning and worked hard all day until 6 (some days until 7). Early in the process of prepping our front porch, it was discovered that much of the wood had rotted from overexposure to water and lack of drying out. What started out as a paint job, turned into a partial patio re-build and restoration. Rene was able to quickly tackle the extra responsibility and provided a fair change order for the extensive added work. I think our deck is better now than it ever was! The back yard patio cover was carefully prepped and repainted and looks new! We could not be happier. The work was executed in a very timely, clean, professional, and skilled manner. They treat everything as their own, take great pride in their workmanship, and are very kind and fair. We will have them back whenever we have any additional interior or exterior painting needs. read more

Roman was a professional from the start and throughout the process. He addressed every single repair with care and patience. He never made me feel like any job was too small and he was eager to get my job completed. I have interviewed several other companies so it speaks volumes that I trusted him to complete the work. I truly like supporting family owned businesses and veterans. Roman is both and if I could leave more than 5 stars for his excellent work I would. Charlie who helped complete the job was also a great designer and exceeded my expectations. Look no farther you've found the best team to help you complete your project. read more

We're extremely happy with the outcome of the exterior painting and stucco repair work that Diaz painting performed on our home. They came recommended by another contractor so we admittedly did not shop around but in the end felt they provided an excellent job at good value. They were meticulous in their work doing small brush work to clean up edges, re-painting surfaces to get it "right", and making multiple passes on the stucco repair to ensure the finished product was perfect. It's a family run, operated business and it was clear everyone working was like- minded to do a great job. read more

Professional, thorough and meticulous...that is Diaz Painting. Rene, Roman and crew transformed the outside of our home from a drab off white to a bold beauty that I still get excited to see when I pull up to our driveway. From power washing to all the final touch ups, each stage of the process was done with perfection. This company can definitely deliver a job well done. read more

We had a huge exterior paint job done by Diaz Painting along with a new fence, and our house looks like a new house! They are extremely kind and accommodating, and their work is beautiful. They are so thorough and attentive to detail. Also very helpful when trying to get opinions on what is going to look good, they are knowledgeable and up to date on design standards and trends. It's also just always nice to have people that are friendly and easygoing when having work done on your house. They are a family business and bring such a good energy around. We recently had Diaz Painting repaint our duplex. They did a fabulous job from start to finish!! Along with the building being repainted they also repainted the metal Iron railings. We had some other wood work around doors and a concrete stairway which needed to be reinforced. The contractor who was supposed to complete those items was way behind schedule so we asked Rene if he could include it in their contract. He was nice enough to do the work so we wouldn't be further delayed! Their workmanship and quality of products used is fantastic! We look forward to having Rene and his family/crew for jobs in the future. read more

Díaz Painting completed paining my home and did a great job. The team was reliable and professional every step of the way. Their attention to details was awesome and loved to seeing two generation working together. This is truly a community family business that can do it all. Diaz Painting did a fantastic job painting the eaves and facia of our two story, rebuilding the deck support pillars and deck floor, treating mold and rot, detail spray painting over a 100 feet of solar system conduit, treating rust and painting our metal gate and circular metal stairway, applying deck paint after reinforcing all seams and filling/replacing all problem areas, reinforcing handrails, straightening a pool gate, and painting almost 200 feet of 2x2 railing. They paid attention to all the small details, including the careful removal and replacement of a mama bird and her nest! We chose them because they were quick to respond to our request for a quote, took diligent notes on such an extensive job, provided a detailed estimate, was priced competitively with other bids, and returned before starting the job to review product details and confirm measurements. Top notch company and look forward to using them again. Ramon took the lead from start to finish and we consider ourselves lucky to have had the Diaz family and team work on our house. Thank you! read more

Diaz Painting - Brand new deck and paint job glows at night. Love it! - Painters Near Me

Wow !! I am beyond pleased with Diaz Painting's services. I am a perfectionist and very hard to please. And Diaz Painting exceeded my expectations. Rene and his crew painted the exterior of my home. First, let me start by saying that Rene was on time for his appointment to give me a free estimate. He showed up with a measuring wheel and a notepad. He did a thorough run through the house and explained to me all he planned on doing. He asked me if I had any questions and told me he would send me an estimate later that day. Just as he said, I received the estimate and it was very professional, listing everything he had told me he would do. After signing the proposal, we set up a starting date. Without fail, Diaz Painting crew showed up and started workIng. They worked diligently every day for 5 days and cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day. Rene kept me updated on their progress daily. They did everything they promised and some more! At the final walk through, I couldn't believe it. I could not find any mistakes. Diaz Painting took care of every detail and once again, cleaned up thoroughly and put back everything in my yard that they had to move out of their way during the painting. I am a totally satisfied customer and I highly recommend Diaz Painting. PS. They also washed all my windows as a gift. read more

Diaz Painting - Painters Near Me

Diaz Painting is terrific. They are a family owned and operated painting and repair service. Recently we engaged them to paint the outside of our home, (stucco and trim). In addition to the painting, there were many repairs that were needed. Everything was done in a very professional manner. In fact we were so happy with their work, we asked them to come back and do interior painting for us. Once again we were extremely pleased. Thank you Rene, Roman, Synthia and Charlie. Looking forward to working with you in the future. read more

We had Diaz Painting repaint the exterior of our house and do a granite grip concrete treatment all around the property. We could not be more pleased with the results. The team was meticulous and thorough in their work and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Diaz Painting. read more

These are the kind of guys you want to give 6 stars. Not only did an above-and-beyond paint job on a horrible garage door, but were respectful of property and cleaned up after themselves every night and power washed the driveway and walkway when they were done. The metal door had grown mysterious big bubbles that popped up in the summer and we had previously had the bubbles scraped off, sanded and the door repainted. But the hot weather this summer generated a whole new crop. Diaz looked over the previous job and anaylzed the problem as too many layers of paint over the years and use of regular primer instead of metal primer. They took days to strip the door down to bare metal--much longer than estimated--using chemical peels intead of sanding and scraping. Then two coats of paint and very careful attention to details and trim. An exceptionally clean job and well kept job site. The door looks brand new and even operates better because the paint in between the panels was removed so there's no more sticking. Very refreshing attitudes, too. Highly recommend. read more

Professional in Miriam Webster Dictionary Definition = exhibiting a courteous, conscientious, and generally businesslike manner in the workplace They must be defining the Diaz Painting business about their work ethics!!! They committed from start to completion to have a full crew on the project and they did more than I expected just in their detail to prep : power wash...scrapping and sanding of old paint blisters etc then applying caulking and priming then 2 coats to trim and house body...impressive!!! I'm a retired General Engineering & General Building Contractor since 1978 (retired) I have two houses 1 is 93 years old and other 73 years old....that were in dire need of repair....they brought to my attention severe wood rot & termite damage when they began their prep work... Never have I seen the workmanship on display that his team of professionals did in detailing what needs to be done to bring my homes back to life in the least expensive way possible... in a cost effective way... When asked a question if they didn't have the information available they would quickly attain it...I have neighbors that walk by daily and they gave the thumbs up and wrote the Diaz Painting contact number down for future projects... Diaz Painting a family business will always be my go-to company for future needs or as a quality reference.... an Excellent experience!!! read more

Over ten years ago, Diaz Painting painted my office interior. Three very different colors, arched entryways, one color butting up against a contrasting color. They did an exceptional job! We hired Diaz Painting to paint the exterior of our home after coming highly recommended. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint. I was particular about the steps of our project and they honored each request to include protection of my landscaping. My project started with a full power wash of our Spanish tile roof, gutters cleaned, full 3-coat exterior paint to the entire house, painted 100ft retaining wall, painted black wrought iron balcony rails, pavers and flagstone cleaned and sealed, and granite grip applied to all concrete surfaces. They even replaced multiple exterior light fixtures with new ones. Each day they were prompt, professional, and meticulous at every step of our project. If there was a 10-star rating I would apply a full 10 stars to Diaz Painting! Daily we are getting compliments of our property and inquiries on who we used. Rene, Roman, and their entire crew are an absolute pleasure to work with and we couldn't be happier. We have the best looking house on our street thanks to the Diaz painting family. read more

indecisive on what colors to choose and the Diaz crew helped us narrow it down and come to a conclusion, the colors came out looking phenomenal! You will get much more than you pay for with Diaz painting. We sure did. Thanks again Diaz painting! read more

We are very happy with this company and were especially impressed with their prep work and attention to detail. We used Diaz Painting in March 2019 to paint a problem beamed wooden ceiling, located just under an almost flat roof. The ceiling had originally been stained dark with an oil-based stain. Attempts to paint the ceiling always ended up with peeling paint within months. We thought we had sanded and prepped well, but the prep work done by this company put us to shame. The room was entirely sealed off to keep the mess from getting on the walls or into the rest of the house. It's been over two years and the ceiling looks great! We highly, highly recommend this company. read more

Diaz Painting came into our home and painted the entire ground floor plus the stairs section going up to the master bedroom. They were very careful to cover up our newly refinished hardwood floors and prep everything before the actual painting started. They arrived everyday around 8:30 am. and never left earlier than 5:00 pm. except on the last day, they stayed until between 7:30-8:00 pm. making sure everything was perfect and that we were completely satisfied with there work. We would high recommend Diaz Painting to anyone, as they are a Five Star painting contractor and go the extra mile to make sure everything is done right! read more
