I can sum up my experience with Pro Painting like this: High quality, done quickly, fair pricing. I did a whole house remodel that included an interior painting just 2 years ago. The company that did my original painting did a terrible job (attached is the "before' photo). The original painters claimed "40 years of painting experience" but executed like a kindergartner that couldn't color inside the lines. On top of that, my walls looked filthy and we couldn't get them clean. I called Pro Painting asking for some touchups, but the owner Mario explained a few things to me that were totally correct: they used flat paint which will always look dirty, i shouldn't mix-and-match flat with eggshell because it wouldn't look right, they used the wrong paint type on the doors and floorboards, and he could fix the sloppy edging the other company left behind. So I went all-in having the interior repainted and we are thrilled with the inside of the house - it feels new. The edging was done really well. The crew was really good and fast. On day 2 after they finished up, my dog came out of the rain and left mud on the wall. This would've stained the old paint, but Mario was right - it came right up with a washcloth. We Yelped top paint companies for our house. Pro Performance Painting had the best prices among 4 professional painting companies. They gave us a very reasonable estimate for the entire house, all doors, window trim, railing, garage door, fire pit, retaining wall and more. They spray washed our house clean and repaired all damaged door trim or missing stucco. They patched up holes and prepped everything. Then in 4-5 days their crew sanded down rough spots and repainted our whole house and backyard. Our jacuzzi and fire pit now look brand new. Impeccable and without one single flaw, IMO. We got our kitchen cabinets repainted from Pro Performance and *hot dang* did they do well. Sherwin-Williams made a mixing mistake despite Pro Performance having ordered the correct color requiring them to repaint a whole section of cabinets, and YET, they STILL finished right on schedule! They did our whole kitchen and laundry room in only five days of roughly 7:30-3PM. Fair price and the work looks so, sooooo good. It feels like a new room. They used lacquer and it feels very very solid and looks beautiful. I am super happy. Oh and the customer service is also amazing. 10/10, would paint again, EXCEPT I WON'T HAVE TO!!! The painters we had definitely tried to do their best and the project started off well. Unfortunately, when we added more areas to the project the quality of work went downhill. I believe this is because of the pressure to move quickly and our particular project was not one that could be done quickly without mistakes. The owner Mario was okay to work with but his wife Crystal was particularly unpleasant to work with as she was all about money and would send messages that weren't professional or tactful. The job wasn't even finished and she would request a final payment "so I can pay my guys". That doesn't send the best message about the status of the company. Furthermore, we have spent thousands and thousands in renovating our home and not once paid our contractors late so her insinuating that we would not pay really rubbed me the wrong way and again was very unprofessional. In the end, I don't think the cost was worth it. We have some drip marks and other areas that need to be redone. If going with this company, it would be best to do the project in smaller steps for quality control. read more
