We had our exterior home painted by JK Painting. This included power washing to remove dirt and debris, trenching around the foundation a few inches to ensure paint goes below the dirt level. Sand/grind loose paint, caulk joints and knots in fascia boards and around door jambs. Prime wood that was either bare or going from a darker to lighter color and masking all windows and adjacent areas to protect from paint overspray. We also had some miscellaneous repairs that were needed. This included rebuilding two (2) dry rotted planter boxes that are integrated/attached to the house, replacing a couple of fascia boards and adding molding to a side garage. Additionally, we had a couple of more miscellaneous items repaired/changed out which I believe is where Jason (the owner) really went "above and beyond." When I asked him if he could replace two (2) broken roof tiles, without hesitation, he said "I can do that; I have a connection with a roof tile guy and can go to his yard and pick some matching roof tiles for you." Now it gets better, I had this old High Pressure Low Sodium outdoor garage light that was broken and an eyesore. I thought it couldn't hurt to ask Jason if he could change it out to a new LED motion detector. Again, without hesitation, he said "I can do that, as long as you buy the LED light of your choice." Not only did he change the light out, but he also rerouted the existing electrical cable for a better aesthetically pleasing look. And he did this all at a very reasonable price. Beyond being just a painter, Jason is very knowledgeable about construction/remodel type work which most people will find very useful during the scope of a painting project so they don't have to work with multiple contractors. I also want to mention that several of my neighbors have used Jason for their painting needs and I was able to go to their homes that Jason provided addresses to and look at the quality of work and talk to them about their experience with JK Painting. Every one of my neighbors were very pleased with the quality and service Jason provided; as I was too. References to me are the key ingredient to making an informed decision on what painting contractor to go with and Jason has many of them. Jason also has a big crew and gets the job done fast (with quality) once he starts. He has team members that have been working together for 20+ years and they work together well as a team. To Summarize: JK Painting is a class act, they are very experienced, do high quality work, offer reasonable rates, and go above and beyond for their customers' satisfaction. BTW- I typically do not write many reviews; however, I didn't want to pass on this one as JK Painting deserves this...well done!!! read more

I can't speak highly enough about Jason and his team. My next door neighbor & I decided to have our two-story homes repainted badly & we needed someone who understood HOAs. Pricing was fair (not the highest or lowest) & they didn't try to hit my neighbor up for more additional charges, though I think they probably should. Instead they showed their pride in getting the job done right & properly. Our HOA president recommended JK Painting to us along with other vendors that we evaluated & we definitely feel we made the right choice. Jason & Sandi the owners was excellent to work with, very thorough, personable & listened to our specific needs for a complete paint, waterproofing & security bars. JK Paintings are experts when it comes to waterproofing & know all the ins & outs. They addressed all big & small things my neighbor wanted, looked at & made sure the job was done thoroughly & professionally. Jason spent a lot of time with us (two years to be exact) sending emails & text messages talking about what my neighbor & I wanted. Lastly, his entire team is really wonderful - it's pretty personal having a bunch of guys working in & around your house, just outside your windows, etc. - they were all very friendly, accommodating, & just all-around great people have around over the course of the project. Once the work was actually done, it was as we had hoped; his professional team addressed each concern with quality, detail-oriented work. I would highly recommend JK Painting to anyone. My home looks better than the day it was built. Thank you especially to Jason, the crew chief, who was exceptional in solving any problem. read more

JK Painting came very highly recommended by our neighbor. He had a lot of exposure and feedback on them through his position at La Mesa Lumber. I'm grateful he recommended them because they did not pull in during my Yelp research and I might never have found them! We got about 6 quotes on different painters. One company gave the same quote as JK - BUT the person who gave us the estimate was not the owner. What we really liked about JK was that Jason, the owner, came out to quote the job personally so we know what kind of character and personality we'd be getting for the job. Side note, one of the the top reviewed painters on Yelp does't send anyone out to quote...they quote the job by looking at the house Google maps! Highlights of JK painting: Family owned Huge team paints the house efficiently and quickly he's had some of the same employees for nearly 20 years. That kind of retention tells you something. They have a mobile shop with everything they could possible need, so no running back and forth to get things Friendly crew, and the foreman is great Our house looks like new. All of our neighbors have given us tons of compliments.... What a facelift! We highly recommend JK Painting. read more

We just had our house painted by JK and his crew. The crew was run by Raul, and I can't say enough good things about the company and about the job they did. Their price was right in line with some other quotes we received, but their reputation in our neighborhood was what made us choose JK over the others. He arrived for the quote when he said he would, the quote was timely, and after we accepted his bid, he arrived right when he said he would to do the power washing. JK did a fine job with the washing, which included removing some significant mildew on one wall. We agreed on a time for the painting crew, and they arrived exactly on time. The painters we obviously very experienced and competent. They were also clearly a happy group, which tells me a lot about their boss and Raul, their foreman. They were polite and all were primarily concerned with doing a good job rather than getting out of there as quickly as possible. On the walk through there were almost no issues, and the few very minor errors were corrected on the spot. Now that we're done, we are totally pleased with the result. As the old saying goes, no drips, no runs, no errors. The paint job looks great. read more

Jason and his crew just finished painting the exterior of my house, doing some stucco and drywall repair, as well as replacing a door leading from my garage to the side of my house. We are thrilled with the results. Our house looks fantastic. The crew really knew what they were doing and they finished in a very short time. It was clear that they are very conscientious and want to make sure the customer is happy. Jason spent a lot of time with me and my husband talking about what we wanted. Jason gave us some great ideas and I am so happy he did. We had a wall air conditioner that we hated, but weren't sure how to remove it and repair the hole. Jason said they could do it and we would never be able to tell that it was there. He wasn't kidding! You would never know anything was ever there. The inside looks amazing too. The job was started on Monday, all the painting was done on Tuesday, and some very minor finishing touches were completed Wednesday. Jason was I. Touch with me to make sure we were happy with everything before he ever collected any money from us! I can't say enough good things about Jason. You won't be disappointed if you choose to hire his company. read more

My husband likes to perform repairs and maintenance himself to be sure that they're done right. He agreed to have Jason paint the exterior of our house. It's a seven year old manufactured house. The original paint was of poor quality and had faded terribly. We are so glad we hired Jason and his crew! The house looks beautiful! The job included painting the pickets of our deck railing. There were A LOT of pickets! They turned out so nice! Jason got the job "done right!" We decided to change the color of the big garage door from white to the same color as the siding and to change the color of the cement foundation blocks from grey to the color of the siding. It looks like a new house! And in only three days! The crew was professional, friendly, considerate and efficient. My husband is a retired general contractor. While we were waiting for the estimate from Jason, I asked him how much he thought the job should cost. He gave me a $2000 range of prices. The estimate was spot on to my husband's guesstimate! And we even upgraded the paint to the higher quality. I would recommend JK Painting Services to anyone who has a painting project. read more

We had some major work done by JK Painting, and the experience was first-rate. They came when they said they would. Each member of their large crew knew exactly what to do and they worked very hard for the entire day. They've been together for a number of years, and it shows. They took extreme care to protect from drips or dirt. Jason helped me decide what to do with our kitchen cabinets. They were showing a lot of wear so I decided to have them sanded and painted. He masked the area so completely that there was no mess anywhere; we didn't even have to empty out the cabinets! One of the doors was especially damaged from proximity to the dishwasher, but when the job was done, it looked like new. We had the entire downstairs painted, including double-high living room, and baseboards. We also had the extensive wooden railing painted on our staircase. Jason would not accept payment until we were totally happy. When we need anything else painted, you can be sure we'll be calling them again! Total professionals. read more

I found JK Painting on my neighborhood app. I sent them an email and the same day received an email. Jason (the owner) came over to give me a free estimate. He asked several questions also told me about the services his company offers. I told him I was getting a couple estimates, he was excited to compete against all comers! His Estimate wasn't necessarily the lowest cost, however his services included items that other painters offered at an extra cost. I accepted JK Painters offer and was informed of the timeframe to expect the work to be done. Also JK Painters won't take a dime of my money until I am totally satisfied with the Job. My home is about 1600 sq ft and it took him less than 2 days to finish. Prep, Paint and clean up. All his workers are professional and courteous, very courteous. Jason has no problem answering questions, to me it seemed his number one priority is ensuring I understood my house was his number one priority! If you need a painter, call him, you will not be disappointed!!!! read more

When I needed my house in Santee Painted, I got three estimates. Because JK Painting Services giving an analytical, knowledge-based, caring, detail-oriented estimate for painting the exterior of my wood-siding home, I went with them for the project. Now the job is done, and I could not be more happy! Polymer trim was added as the bottom of the wood siding and sealed to prevent any future dry-rot of the wood panels. A sample of the paint was dropped off for me to be sure I approved of the white from Sherwin Williams. When the team arrived, everyone was so nice, hardworking, and phenomenal. The team's foreman, Raul, was wonderful in every respect and even added painting some fencing for free that had not been included in the estimate---this was for aesthetics, to have side fencing in the front match the gates flanking the front of the home. I HIGHLY recommend JK Painting! I cannot compliment them enough! It seems rare these days to have work done with such genuine integrity, care, and perfection. read more

JK Painting did an outstanding job of painting the exterior of my house this week! The house looks wonderful...so fresh and new again! It had never been painted since I bought it new in 1989-so it had 28 years of wear and tear on it. The numerous and bothersome stucco cracks, as well as the hole in the fireplace chimney, were all expertly repaired and now you'd be hard-pressed to find them and never even know they ever existed! Yay!!! Jason and his crew were professional, proficient, experienced, very skilled, efficient, and downright friendly! My 3,000 sq ft house plus garage were quickly power washed within just a few hours one afternoon. And, after a day to enable the house and garage to dry, they were fully painted and like new in one 8-hour workday plus two hours on the following day to finish up some trim! I am greatly impressed and very pleased with the work JK Painting did on my house! I highly recommend Jason Kleiman and his team to anyone who needs any house painting done! read more

JK Painting stepped in and saved us when our first painter failed us! Jason and his crew were so professional, polite and did a fantastic job in a sort of emergency situation. We called Jason one morning and he showed up that afternoon. He gave us a quote by the evening and started the next day at 7 am! The crew was amazing! So efficient, polite and capable. Raul, the foreman, was sensitive to the needs of my 83 year old mother and made her feel so at ease in a sort of stressful time. The house looks wonderful and we are so happy. Jason also suggested a new lighting for my mother's kitchen and was able to accomplish that as well as paint the inside of her home in two days! We echo all the other comments here about being on time, clean and reliability in addressing all of our needs. We highly recommend JK Painting! read more

Just had Jason and his crew paint the exterior of our house and we are extremely pleased with the results. We knew he did quality work because he had painted the exterior of both my in-laws and my son's houses within the last year. I thought his estimate to do our house was very reasonable considering other well known companies were considerable higher in their quotes. Jason's crew were always on time and worked very hard throughout the day. They prepped and painted our 3800 square foot house including a second story deck and three other patios in just two and a half days. Jason encouraged us to make a list of any touch ups that needed to be done ( very minimal) and he took care of all of them the next business day. read more

We took a chance on Jason a few years ago (other estimates didn't pan out) for the painting of the exterior of our house. It is beautifully done (and in 1 day). JK Painting uses high quality paint and does a very thorough and professional job. We felt the prepping before painting was excellent. We just had Jason back to paint our whole interior (except kitchen, as it needs more than just paint). The entire inside came out just as beautiful and fresh as the outside. There were even popcorn ceilings scraped. We highly recommend Jason and his fine crew. You can't go wrong getting in touch with Jason for an estimate for your painting! Diane & Bert Sele read more

JK Painting Services is tops. From estimate to follow-up, Jason and his crew were first-rate pros. They painted both the exterior and interior of my home. They came Friday and power-washed; Monday they painted the outside; Tuesday they did the inside and were done. They show up on time and get right to work. They use top-rate materials (Sherwin-Williams paint). And the crew has been together for years - some have been with him almost a quarter-century - and the teamwork is evident. To a one, they are professional, polite and punctual. I would use them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone looking to paint. read more

My husband and I were looking for someone to paint our house when we remembered the flyer from JK Painting. We gave him a call and he came by to walk the job with my husband. We received the quote and accepted it--it was a reasonable price. We were having some trouble matching the paint color so he sent out a professional to assist in obtaining our paint color--he was amazing and he came back with a match! The crew that came out to perform the painting were professional, polite, and hard working. The house looked amazing and we were completely satisfied when they were finished! I'd hire JK Painting again. read more

I used JK Painting last summer for some interior work and the exterior wood /facade and patio cover. It was a great experience. They were quick - and accurate - no sloppy mess w/this crew and they were able to do the interior and exterior at the same time due to the size of the crew. It was great. I was so impressed I am using them again for a room that i just didn't do last time. they encourage you to communicate any issues / concerns immediately to the foreman/person in charge on site. I never had to, but i liked the fact they did that. Jason and Sandi are great to work with! read more

JK Painting Services painted the interior of our home and the exterior trim. They were very professional, and we were comfortable having them in our home. We especially appreciated their attention to detail and the fact that they sent a large crew so that our job was completed in 3 days. They did an excellent job of repairing the worn areas on our outside trim, and it looks beautiful. Their price was reasonable, and we appreciated that Jason came by several times to check on the work. We were impressed with the foreman and the workers. We highly recommend them. read more

We had Jason and his crew paint the entire exterior of our home a couple months ago. They did an excellent job, it came out perfect. The price was very good--about in the middle of our estimates. They were right on time, fast and extremely clean. There wasn't any thing out of place or dirty when they were finished. He and his crew are very professional but friendly too. We would certainly use them again and highly recommend them. Thanks Jason, for a great painting experience. read more

Jason and his professional crew just completed the outside painting of my house, garage, and patio cover and one bedroom. I am amazed how beautiful it came out. They were courteous, friendly and above all excellent workers. They put in full days to complete the project on time. I thought the estimate was right on for what my house needed and Jason billed for the work when all was finished. I highly recommend this company for any of your painting and construction needs.
