We are so happy with the exterior home painting from McCarthy Painting. Their hard-working crew Armando and Andres not only provided a superior painting job, but they also worked very hard, were extremely neat with their work, very respectful of our property and to us. They used high-quality Sherwin-Williams paint products for the job, which was a serious upgrade from the original products used on our home. McCarthy Painting was able to schedule us in very quickly and I believe it will be a long while until we require another exterior paint job. Thanks guys! read more

Don't you all love the HOA especially when they tell you what to do? Well, they likely mean well, keeping the neighborhood gray, near colorless aesthetic. Anywho! This time around, HOA told us to paint our house. Well, yeah! Da humble abode severely needed a fresh coat of paint. Chica went on a search and found McCarthy Painting. I followed up and checked reviews. They're legit licensed, bonded and do good work. Fast forward to the first day Armando and Andres started the job. They consulted with me and confirmed the features of the dwelling and the specific colors set for them from Sherwin Williams pallet for this model. Shout out to the lone faux shutter feature in da back of da house. *rolling eyes*. These guys communicated clearly the job and the specifics to be done. They explained to me the way they will paint the eaves and gutters (a little different from the original paint patterns). I'm good with that. That actually matches what all the neighbors did with their new paint jobs. Armando and Andres got right to work starting with the power washing for day one. The humble abode might have sighed a great sigh of relief when they did this. Gone are the tree sap, chimney soot, dust and pollen stains. Next day, cover up and protect. Then next 2 days paint all large surface areas and most of the trim. Day 4 finish all trim and doors. Last day, touch ups. These guys work hard and thoroughly. We are so happy and relieved to have the house painted right with the correct premium paint - Sherwin Williams. Looking over the humble abode now... She looks polished and beautiful. Take that HOA! Do you not approve? Thanks to McCarthy Painting Armando and Andres for making her look good again. read more

Armando and Andres did a great job on my home in Normal heights and were very helpful. I had the entire interior walls and ceilings painted as well as my crown and baseboards. All new colors. Looks clean and fresh. The project was completed on time and on budget. I was hoping to get the work done ASAP and McCarthy was able to make it work. My walls and ceilings were heavily patched due to foundation fixes (see before pics) and the team made the rooms pop. read more

Have to add something here that shows what great customer service McCarthy provides. We noticed a few days after the job was done that a roof tile got cracked. When we emailed Kelly, she answered quickly and told us that Julio would come out to fix it. He did just that - and even found us a matching roof tile (we didn't have any extras from the builder). He installed it quickly and explicitly said "We're here to help"! This reinforces how glad we are that we chose this company! read more

Team Fabian and Angel did our interior painting project of Living Room, Stairway and Dining Room areas with high vaulted ceilings. They did a great job of protecting floors and prepping walls. They completed job with 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald Satin on main walls and accents. They did an excellent job of cutting and painting. Cleaned up the areas well and walked through inspection with us. We're very happy with the completed project. Both Fabian and Angel were very friendly and respectful of our home. Would highly recommend McCarthy Painting for your painting needs. They're not the lowest or the highest cost from the estimates we received but great value for the money after seeing the results. read more

We chose McCarthy Painting because they did our exterior about 8 years ago and were very satisfied. We asked for an estimate on the interior and Brennan was very thorough so there were no unexpected add-ons. Our dry wall needed repairs where the tape at the ceiling and wall was frayed. I used McCarthy to paint the exterior of my 2 story home. It was long overdue and I had procrastinated this project for some time. Fabion was the lead guy and was awesome to work with. From start to finish, their attention to detail really stood out. He always checked in and let me know what was happening and if I had any questions. The prep work alone was impressive--they didn't cut corners. They even went as far as digging around a 4 inch wide area around the perimeter of my house to make sure the paint coverage extended all the way down, which is something I wouldn't have even thought to ask for but made a huge difference in the final result. The finish looks clean, consistent, and high quality. You can tell they take pride in their work. Fabion and his main worker Marten were professional, thorough, and clearly committed to doing the job right. If you're looking for a painting contractor who goes above and beyond, I'd definitely recommend them. read more

My wife and I recently had the exterior of our home repainted and, after gathering several quotes, we chose McCarthy Painting. Their pricing was the most competitive when factoring in the scope of work and the quality of materials included. From the start, their communication was excellent. The crew arrived on schedule and did an outstanding job. The preparation was thorough, and we appreciated their attention to detail. There were no signs of overspray or paint where it shouldn't be. At the final walkthrough, we couldn't find a single area that required touch-up. The entire process was smooth and exceeded our expectations. We're very pleased with the results and wouldn't hesitate to recommend McCarthy Painting to anyone in need of professional painting services. read more

McCarthy just finished painting my house and fences and I'm very happy with the results. Kelly was fantastic and got me a quote the same day as the site visit. I got 4 quotes and McCarthy was the lowest. They were also able to start the project within two weeks. Jesus checked in with me each morning before starting to make sure I was happy with the colors. He even suggested I use stain for the fences after we started the project instead of paint which saved me some costs - very honest and not looking to up-charge, which was refreshing. I was have cold feet with the fence color I selected so Jesus offered to grab a gallon and paint a small section of fence to make sure I liked it, which was so appreciated. The entire project only took one week. Will definitely use for future painting needs. read more

We decided to have both of our front yard retaining walls patched, repaired and painted, prior to our front lawn being replaced. Brendan came out, gave a quick estimate, explained his process and what to expect. Price was fair, so we accepted on the spot. His guy Armando showed up on time, Very excellent service, we are completely satisfied. No spillages, no splatter on either neighbor's yards, just an overall outstanding job. We had a couple of our friends on the block asking for their contact info for their retaining walls, and we do plan on getting them for our backyard painting as well. read more

Thank you Armando, Martin, Brendan & Kelly! I reached out to McCarthy regarding an interior paint job for our new home & Brendan came out to do the estimate. In addition to painting & removing wallpaper, my fiancé & I wanted to do a few other repairs such as demolishing the built in tv cabinet, leveling out the door to the garage & removing/patching other equipment that were attached to the wall. We were thrilled to find out that Brendan's crew could make this possible! I had 3 estimates & McCarthy was the most reasonable for everything that they would do. Painters & general contractors, win-win! I spoke to Kelly regarding scheduling & she was able to book me 3 weeks out. There was a hiccup with the start date but in the end, painting started right on time. Armando & Martin were my painters & they were friendly & professional! I met them on the 1st day (Monday) & they said it would take 5, maybe 6 days. I went over everything in the contract with them & all was good to go. Since I was not there everyday, I appreciated Armando texting me to keep me updated. I stopped by on Thursday to see the progress & everything looked wonderful. There were a couple of hiccups regarding patching but they were able to fix them. There were several nail holes that were not yet patched but they said they would take care of them. Work finished Saturday morning & my fiancé & I did a final walk through with Armando & Martin. We were impressed with how wonderful the new paint job was! We did notice that there were still unpatched nail holes & mentioned them during the walk through & they took note to go back to them. We left so they could finish up the final touches & came back to a clean, beautifully painted home! We did find more unpatched nail holes that we had to patch ourselves but were glad that we were given leftover paint for instances like these. We are very pleased with the paint job & all of the general contracting work Armando & Martin did to make our new home look fresh! Thank you McCarthy team! read more
