Winston is a true professional. We hired Transtech Painting to paint a large iron outdoor fence. Beautiful work and excellent attention to detail. Affordable price. Smooth communication. Always on time. We will hire Transtech again. read more

I recently hired this company for a kitchen painting project, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. What I appreciated most was how easy they made the process. We handled almost everything online -- I simply sent photos of the areas that needed work, discussed the project details, and received a clear, all-inclusive estimate upfront. I had some leftover paint from a previous project, so I was able to provide them with the exact color information ahead of time. They purchased everything in advance, which made the process even smoother and eliminated any surprises with pricing. The work itself was excellent. I had recently replaced my kitchen cabinets, and several sections of the walls had been damaged and needed retexturing. They repaired and retextured those areas beautifully before painting both the walls and ceiling. Everything blended perfectly when the job was finished. They showed up right on time on a Saturday, which I really appreciated because I didn't have to take time off work. Before starting, they carefully laid down and hung drop cloths to protect everything in the kitchen, and they were extremely thorough about cleaning up afterward. The entire project was completed in a very reasonable amount of time, and the finished result looks fantastic. Another thing that stood out to me is that they are a true local company with their own employees. I've had frustrating experiences in the past where companies acted more like middlemen and subcontracted the work out to random handymen. It was refreshing to work with a company that has its own team because you can tell they have much better oversight, communication, and quality control throughout the entire process. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the results and would absolutely hire them again for future projects. read more

We recently hired Transtech Painting to paint the interior of our rental property, including the kitchen cabinets and interior doors, in between tenants. We were a little nervous as it was a large project that needed to be completed in a short amount of time. I can honestly say we were blown away by Winston's integrity and attention to detail. The end result was spectacular. He went above and beyond for us in so many ways, and was flexible and fair in terms of some last minute requests. We also appreciated that he was kind enough to return after the project was complete and address a very minor issue. We will definitely use Winston and the team for all of our painting needs in future (both interior and exterior!). This was one of the best experiences we ever had with a contractor, and I would highly recommend him to anyone. read more

I recently hired Transtech Painting to paint the exterior of my house. I got several quotes , they were in the middle. It took about a month to get in scheduled which was fine. They did a great job! They arrived on the scheduled day , kept me up dated on their progress and completed my project in 5 days (that included getting someone out to fix a part of a wall that was more damaged than expected- they just kept working). They had a Porta Potty on site for the workers which was great. They left the job clean each day and at the end of the project. The house looks great. read more

I was able to book just about same day service, and 24 hours later. My job was done. I cannot say how happy we are with this company. The precision the value for the money. We've hired Transtech Painting twice now, and both experiences have been excellent. The first time, they painted the wood trim on our roof and exterior, and most recently, our interior. Communication with Winston was great, he's very responsive and easy to work with. Win and his crew always arrived on time, were respectful and professional, and took great care prepping and covering everything before starting. They went above and beyond with the details-removing and replacing old door handles, caulking all the gaps, and even putting furniture and curtains back in place. The quality of their work is outstanding, and the price was very fair for everything they did. When they were done, it was like they were never there--just a beautifully finished home. Highly recommend Transtech for their reliability, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. read more

--Winston, Timmy, and the 2 other guys were terrific. They were knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and accommodating of all my requests. --I have 2 storage units with newly constructed roofs, eaves, and fascias. The eaves and fascias were primed but never painted. The task was to fill the gaps beween wooden beams with caulking and to paint the eaves and fascias. --When encountering tree branches and bricks from another job, Timmy had no trouble clearing everything out for me while checking with me where I wanted things placed and how I wanted him to trim the tree. Good man! --The team was very thorough in caulking the roof eaves. When they finished, Timmy did a walkthrough with me to ensure the work was done to my satisfaction. Their work was meticulous and thorough, and I was very pleased. --They applied 2 coats of paint on the eaves and on the fascias, allowing for 1 hour between applications to allow the previous application to dry. --Methodical and organized. --Cleanup was great. --Reasonably priced. I could not ask for anything more. --I highly recommend Transtech to anyone. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Win and his team. I needed an urgent project completed before 9/3 and Win was responsive on 8/29 and showed up at 8am the NEXT day. I've never had anyone be that accommodating before and his accommodations continued. As his team started painting we saw other issues we wanted addressed. Win obliged and even with additional scope creep finished EARLY. The house is old and he brought it back to life. Clean, on time, perfectionist and just a lovely gentlemen to be around. Pricing was completely fair for the work. I highly recommend Transtech. They came through in a BIG WAY when no one else could and I'm so thrilled with the final product. I'll be referring Win to other friends and using him again on another property. Thank you so much. 10 stars! read more

We wanted to refresh our kitchen without throwing away perfectly good wood cabinets, so we decided to try having them repainted. From the start, Win assured us that he and his team could make it happen, and they did! Their approach and execution were thorough and meticulous. They showed up on time, were friendly and helpful, and took great pains to prep, mask and cover everything, and clean up afterwards. The price was very fair for the amount and quality of work involved. Win also introduced us to a handyman, Dan Sherwood, who was able to help us with replacing countertops, appliances, electrical and plumbing. Our cabinets and kitchen look amazing, and we are so happy we found Win and the Transtech team! read more

Truong and his crew did an absolute ace job on staining my fence. They were on time, detailed, and great to work with. It was a board on board job with several different colors picked by my outside neighbors, and a few other garden complications to work around. Everything was handled properly and with care. Highly recommended! read more

I highly recommend them! They are quick to respond and explain the process of what they do. They don't rip you off like other companies either. They cleaned the exterior of my home in 1 day then returned a few days later to paint the home in 1 day. They even offer warranty which is a bonus. Thank you Troung :) read more

Transtech did an excellent job in painting my shaker cabinets. It is exactly what I wanted! They added soft close hinges and new hardware. The work is so precise they even painted the stripping on the shelving. The paint on the walls is equally beautiful with precision between the walls and ceiling. The owner is very responsive and active in the project. The team is fantastic and does a first rate job of protecting furniture, appliances and in cleaning up at the end of each day. I can't say enough about the work and the professionalism. Use this team for your project- you will love the result. read more

Very happy with interior painting of my house. Reasonable price and excellent service. Highly recommended!!

We originally hired Transtech Painting to repair drywall and paint our rental. They did a fantastic job! We then hired them to do the same in our laundry room. Again the results were fantastic! We hired them a third time to paint our whole (exterior) house. I could not have asked for a better job! That's when I knew they were truly professional. Win examined the entire exterior, pointing out problems with stucco and wood rot. They repaired it all before painting. We're very happy with the result and will not hesitate to hire this company again in the future. read more

Highly recommend this company. I was referred by a friend and was equally impressed with their customer service and workmanship. Winston was very approachable, responsive and thorough. They even came back to see if there were any places that we thought needed a touch up. I had several people comment on what a great and clean job they did for us!! I love how meticulous they were!! And they were decently priced as well. I have nothing but good things to say about this company :) read more

I found Transtech through the Yelp project feature, and it was very convenient. Truong was very quick to respond, had the best price out of nine quotes that I got and even showed up early to my house! The project was to paint one accent wall back to match the rest of the house. They did a great job, kept my floors and couch, clean while painting and got the job done exactly as it should look! Highly recommend. read more

Winston and his crew are second to none. We moved into a new home that needed some color and fresh paint throughout the inside. He was patient and gave me lots of information about the process, and he was extremely patient while I picked out the colors. Truong and his team were so easy to work with. Truong responded quickly to my inquiry of getting the house exterior painted, and came out to do a walk-around to get a proper estimate. He emailed me the quote that same night and provided very reasonable pricing. We scheduled the actual painting for about 3-weeks later, during which we tested a bunch of paint colors ourselves to see what we wanted. Truong was also very responsive via text. The job took about 2 and a half days, with Ryan and Luis who did an excellent job. They were quick to make adjustments that we requested, wore masks, and were respectful. The house is absolutely beautiful and we are so happy we went with Transtech Painting. Highly recommend! read more

I sent a Yelp quote request for interior painting for my house and Truong was one of the first ones to respond. After talking to him over the phone, I felt assured he understood what we wanted and also suggested a color when I asked for his advice. He met us timely to provide an estimate and was always responsive anytime I called which I truly appreciated since he was very reliable. Him and his crew were respectful and always came early and took care of our house. We had most of the interior walls, ceilings, and garage painted and had some patching and drywall done too. Truong was able to get this done within in the timeframe we needed. He was meticulous in his work and very hard working. We are very happy with the turnout and plan to go with Transtech Painting for our house exterior. read more

Winston and his team just finished painting the exterior of our modern concrete and stucco home. They did a fantastic job! And we really enjoyed having the polite and helpful team working on site for just under two weeks. We have metal railings all over the house and they were peeling and a mess. It was time consuming to sand them and now they are beautiful. We also have wood facades that required sanding and staining. Winston is a stickler for detail. We received quotes from Transtech and another painter. Transtech was a bit more expensive, but we chose them because of the detailed discussion during the quoting process. I am so glad we did. read more

Could not praise the Transtech team more! After completing major hardscape renovations to our property, the lower half of our exterior was in dire need of weep screed replacement, stucco repair and a new coat of paint. Truong and Daniel were consummate professionals. We decided to refinish the whole exterior instead of doing just a repair job and it turned out amazing! Their attention to detail is bar none and they were able to complete a big job in under two weeks. Everything was properly masked off to protect our very expensive brand new pavers around the whole house and Truong even HAND CLEANED our window frames and fixtures. Best contractor team I have worked with San Diego without question. They have gained a lifelong client!! read more
