Really fantastic! Everything was perfect, the consistency, the flavors, the verve from the cool logo. I absolutely would recommend if this is available to you and you like super good donuts.

UBE Vietnamese
Christine T.

Ordered the Ube Vietnamese Coffee and Ube Thai Tea, and both were so good the perfect ube sweet treat with a nice little caffeine boost We also grabbed some classic chocolate and glazed donuts, but Amelia recommended a couple of her favorites, the Crème Brûlée and Biscoff Cookie Butter, and let's just say... she did not disappoint! Both were delicious and definitely worth trying. Great drinks, yummy donuts, and friendly service. Definitely an awesome little spot to check out if you're in the Chino area

Large Biscoff Iced Latte. It's so delicious! Highly recommended. :)

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's an awesome place to get great coffee, food, and donuts. The donuts, first of all, are sooooo soft and chewy. Amazing taste, as well. You can either get their regular donuts (glazed, chocolate glazed, etc.), opt in for their mochi donuts (variety of flavors), or pick up one of their special donuts that I can best describe as "over-the-top" (in a good way, I promise!). The coffee, THE. COFFEE. YES. GET. I recommend their signature Vietnamese iced coffee or if you want something sweet and also great, get the Biscoff iced latte. I've never had Biscoff cookies before, but I discovered the latte version and it was a nice introduction for a first-timer. It's my new obsession right now and I highly recommend it! The breakfast is great. My husband and I tried their breakfast burritos and we were told they put a half dozen eggs in every single burrito! That's a LOT of eggs they go through daily. The burritos were nice and light, it didn't have you feeling heavy after eating it and there wasn't much grease. The service has always been amazing and top-notch. They are so accommodating and helpful. If you don't know what to get, they will recommend some nice options for you to choose from. The ambiance was nice and chill with great music playing overhead. Overall, it's a great place to grab a donut and some delicious coffee. If you're on the fence about this place, this is your sign to go try it out. You will not be disappointed, I promise you!

crème brûlée, churro cream pie, Dubai chocolate, and strawberry shortcake.

I got 4 donuts: crème brûlée, churro cream pie, Dubai chocolate, and strawberry shortcake. The crème brûlée and churro cream pie were okay, nothing special. But the Dubai chocolate and strawberry shortcake were delicious. The staff was super friendly, and the service was quick.

Dulce de Leche Cold Brew

Always delicious! Lots of fun donuts in a variety of flavors and designs. Everything from standard maple glazed to character donuts for kids. This time I cashed in on my birthday reward and got a dulce de leche cold brew. Sweet and tasty! They have a great loyalty program that adds up fast. Worth signing up for. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Fun, vibrant design in store. Great place all-around.

Always quick service, and very nice staff. Breakfast burritos and bagels are always so good! The coffee is amazing and strong my only small issue is that it's very pricy, so even if I wanna come often it's more like a once in a while treat, they do have specials during the week tho!

PD Breakfast Burrito with added cheese and avocado (extra charge)

Finally able to check this place out. Been seeing it on social media and finally made my way out here with the kiddos. Wanted to see what it was all about. The parking is a decent size. Two tables outside to dine on if you want to eat there & a few bar stool seating inside as well. The vibes inside were cute and matched their theme. Kind of dark since majority of the place is painted black so pictures inside didn't turn out so nice unless you had it at a good angle near the window but I wasn't really here to take pictures, I was really here to try what they're offering. Donuts: The donuts are pretty, that's for sure. Plenty of options and donuts I think ranged in pricing depending on the specialty level. The ones we got range from $4-$7. We got half a dozen donuts along with breakfast items & coffee to try. We got the ube mochi, hello kitty character, unicorn, Banana Pudding, Oreo and Nutella donuts to try. The design are very eye catching for sure. Donuts are nice and fluffy and packed with flavors. Kids really enjoyed them. They're a bit pricey and not something you can regularly buy in this type of economy on a daily basis. To me, they're fun to buy for special occasions and that's probably what we'll do for birthdays or events. For the food, we got a PD breakfast burrito. They offered to cut it in half. The burrito itself is already $16. They asked if we wanted to add cheese or avocado. I was curious and did it. We added cheese and avocado at an extra cost to it. Cheese was $1 and Avocado was $2.50. Extra salsa was 51 cents. It's the size of my hand and a hefty looking burrito. At that point, it's really a questionable choice of why am I spending almost $20 on a burrito.. Haha but it was a decent burrito but in the end, everything was an extra cost after the initial order of the item. Would I buy it again? No. Was it worth it? Not really. But definitely good to try if you are craving a breakfast burrito and don't mind the price. Drinks: We ordered the Ube Vietnamese coffee and Sea Salt Cold Brew. We added an extra shot to the cold brew. The cold brew was good. The Ube Vietnamese coffee was good too. It's a premade coffee drink and not customizable. It's more on the sweeter end than a traditional Vietnamese coffee. I usually like it not as sweet but it was the combo that I was curious about and went with it. Good flavors. Wished the coffee was a bit more bolder for the Vietnamese coffee part but it's not bad. Service was nice and friendly. Everyone was very approachable and I appreciated the explanations and recommendations while deciding.

Strawberry cheesecake, Creme brûlée, Dubai chocolate, s'mores, strawberry funnel cake and churro

Since I was in the area, I decided to stop by here and pick up some donuts to enjoy at home with my daughters. It's pretty hard to miss their building, it stands out for sure! There's ample parking and even a drive thru! I was tempted to use the drive thru, but I wanted to see all these donuts! They are truly works of art! I walked in and was a little worried because it was packed! But I noticed everyone was already enjoying their orders and I was greeted by the employees and made my way to the front where there was no line! I opted for a pack of 6 fancy donuts. I got churro, strawberry funnel cake, Dubai chocolate, strawberry cheesecake, s'mores, and Creme brûlée. Our favorites were the Dubai chocolate, s'mores, and strawberry cheesecake! Everything was fabulous! The prices are pretty high, but these donuts are gorgeous and very tasty. Definitely worth it if you want to treat yourself!

Cute (Instagram-able for sure) Pricey ($8+ for speciality donuts) 4 Vegan options on the day I went (they were cakey and delicious) Vietnamese cold brew is good, sweet, pre mixed.

Top L-R: Vietnamese coffee, Ube, matcha, Hello Kitty, strawberry funnel, churro mochi donut
Helen D.

This spot has been on my list for a while, so I was excited we were nearby and could finally stop in. The young ladies working were super friendly and patient while we tried to decide--there were so many delicious options! Here's what we tried: mochi donuts in Vietnamese coffee, ube, matcha, and churro, plus the Strawberry Hello Kitty and strawberry funnel cake. Everything was delicious. For drinks, we got the Vietnamese iced coffee and the Ube Vietnamese coffee--both were great!

Fancy donuts. Lots of selection. Good service. Dark atmosphere (black walls). Each fancy donut is 550 and the normal ones are 350 I don't love the location but the kids had a good experience

We'll get there fast and then take it slow PD Breakfast Burrito from #PaintedDough
Mojo S.

To be fair, that was a decent breakfast burrito but it had so many ways it could've been a bit better. I liked the scrambled eggs, but it seemed the ratio was off. There seemed to be more eggs than anything else. Me not paying for cheese threw the balance way off. I just couldn't do it. Of a lot of things, paying $16 for a breakfast burrito and not getting cheese with it, is the biggest red flag here. The meats were fine though. The bacon could've used a bit more breaking, but otherwise they were good. The same with the hash browns. They were okay but not great. I recently had another $16 breakfast burrito and I know what of that burrito made it worth it. Painted Dough does none of that for me. At most to me this is like $11 or $12 burrito, had it had cheese. Without the cheese this is like a $10 burrito. The space was okay as a place to order. No tables inside makes it a place I would never eat inside of. Only offering standing counters insides sends a clear message you don't like your customers to congregate inside your establishment. Even the smallest donut shop that's successful has some indoor tables. That's another weird thing about this place. Saying you have to take your food outside to sit down to eat it is a bit like saying you don't care about the eating experience being ideal. To me, enjoying a good meal is all about being able to eat it at the food joint at a table as soon as I get it--inside. About the only great thing here is that the service. The counter folks were helpful and fast. But without the other points I mentioned as being the minimum of a good place to eat it--value for your money, a place to relish your meal at your own pace, and the food being something you crave--this place is only decent but not memorable.

Service was excellent Food fresh, hot, serving size was worth the money. Salsa on the side is a must! Cold brew was the best!

I arrived a little after 1 p.m. (they close at 2 p.m.), knowing there was a chance some of the pastries would be sold out. Fortunately, there was no line when I arrived. The young woman helping me was very friendly. Before looking at the menu, I mentioned that I was looking for matcha, and she explained that they no longer carry it. She also directed me to the business next door, Greenhouse Matcha, which is owned by the sibling. I placed my pastry order, went next door, and when I returned, my box was ready. Everything was delicious. I didn't even notice the note about the freebie until I got home, which was such a sweet surprise. My goodies included a peanut butter cookie, gingerbread cookie, mixed berry tart, strawberry croissant, and a free monkey bread. Everything was delicious, and I'll definitely make sure to go earlier next time so I can try some of the other goodies.
